Ambiance is very trendy. It is attached to a hotel but you can still eat here. I had the korean bbq chicken which was tasty. Server put sauce on side because it was spicy. I thought it was good and spicy. Our server Harvey did a magic trick and he went above and beyond. The woman server was very cold to us and I felt unwelcomed. The moscow mule was good but it was not served in a copper cup. We had 6 and people so we were charged the group gratuity fee. I asked the servers why and they said it was the law. I spoke with the manager and I provided feedback that as a customer, we want to know when we are going to be charged a gratuity fee. The fee was 23% and quite an unusual gratuity number because I'm used to tipping 15-20% and I never heard of a 23% fee. The server pointed out it's on the menu and I saw it written in 2 point font. So they got me, I am the fool. It's funny because I wasn't even given a menu. 1 menu was given to my friend for 6 people so actually I could make the argument that I never received a menu which is true. I am not sure if the servers get this money or if it goes to the hotel. Manager listened and provided no solution other than listening and nodding. Typically I like to go places where I feel welcomed. Harvey made me feel welcomed because he is just awesome but the rest made me feel unwelcomed so I can't see myself being a regular patron. There are enough places in burbank where I would avoid this place. Come for a low key drink and good bar food but mediocre customer service.

I ordered the double cheeseburger, and it was absolutely delicious. The burger was packed with flavor, the cheese was perfectly melted, and the buns were soft, fluffy, and airy. The patties weren't smash burgers and were on the thinner side, but they were still juicy and satisfying. My husband ordered the BBQ burger, and he really enjoyed his as well. For our side, we shared the loaded tots. They were crispy, well-seasoned, and a great addition to the meal. Service was good overall. The cashier seemed a little serious at first and didn't really greet us, but when we asked to swap out a drink, she was very accommodating and didn't charge us extra. There was a small misunderstanding when I asked about side options, but she quickly explained that another table had the menu and went to grab one for us. She was friendly and helpful throughout the rest of the interaction. The restaurant was clean, which I always appreciate. The atmosphere could use a little improvement, though. It felt a bit stuffy inside, two of the three menu screens weren't working, and it was very quiet with no music playing, which made the dining room feel a little empty. Overall, the food was definitely the highlight and I'd come back for the burgers and loaded tots.

That says a lot about the staff. Our server, she was a young lady, was on top of everything and really made our time here enjoyable. I came here for happy hour on a Tuesday was surprised to find out they do $2 tacos and $5 margaritas. Let me tell you, the tacos are delicious and the margaritas are STRONG. It's a hell of a good time. I really enjoyed the chicken taco and carne asada taco. The meats were juicy and very flavorful. I also ordered their nachos, chili cheese fries and bread pudding. The nachos were made perfectly with the chips being thin and crispy. They used a couple different cheeses and the jalapeños were a nice touch. Definitely ordering it again, I can do without the chili cheese fries. It was good but it wasn't amazing. Their bread pudding was HUGE and I can see why it's one of the popular items here. The bread was crispy on the outside and soft and gooey in the inside. Morrisons is definitely a fun place to be. Perfect to enjoy happy hour, catch the games on, and hang out friends. They have plenty of seating inside and outdoor with heat lamps. They are dog and kid friendly as well

Dine LA Restaurant Week brought me in!…read more From the Dine LA dinner menu we ordered: wedge salad, and they were kind enough to substitute Gorgonzola instead of Kona for my dry aged NY strip. We also tried some additional appetizers: lobster and crab cakes and double cut smoked bacon. Both delicious. For beverages we tried: the doli, blackberry bourbon sidecar, and capital cosmopolitan. We also tried a glass of wine: DeLille Cellars, Chaleur Blanc. Every drink was amazing. Our server Halina took good care of us along with all of the staff there!

I was impressed with the upscale décor and overall "Men's Grill" steakhouse vibe. The food was generally good but nothing exceptional. We started off with the Caesar salad and the Boston clam chowder. Both were good but, again, nothing exceptional. We then ordered the steak frites and the seared salmon. The steak was perfectly cooked and came with the "stubs" of several russet potatoes. I guess we got the short end of the stick there. There was a really nice herbed mayonnaise sauce that came with the fries and another very good (pistachio?) sauce for the steak. My wife's salmon was decent and came with some broccolini and couscous. But neither dish entered the "fabulous" category. It was my birthday and we were presented with a lovely and very generous dessert of a fudge lava cake and crème Brule. Nice touch! The service was rather lackluster in that our waiter made several gaffs: he forgot about our drink order. He didn't offer fresh cracked pepper for the salad as he did for the table next to us. And he took away my plate before my wife was finished with her course. For a fine dining restaurant removing plates prematurely should never be done unless requested by the customer. But overall, for the price, this was an excellent value!

First of all, I love the artwork. That is what convinced me to try this particular Granville when the first three were OK but nothing special. This one is. Second, the place is vast and beautifully decorated inside (see my pix). The temperature, the music (80s), the furnishings (brick, stone, glass, metal, wood -- all top quality), the plants, and the service were exceptional. Third, if you are up for it, there is valet parking even for weekend brunch. This is nice because the neighborhood is a little grungy and that saves stepping over the things on the sidewalks that should really be cleaned up by the city. Fourth, the menu keeps evolving. Everything we had there was for the first time. All of it was perfect. Beautifully plated, served at the right temperature, fresh and well seasoned, delicious. Dre, our server, was all smiles and so efficient, she seemed to float around. She made the experience lively and fun. This is a big space and yet, even on an off day at an off hour, people were streaming in the entire time we were there, almost filling it up. Whoever designed the place knew how to bring in just the right light so everything glowed and was brightly mysterious, iykwim? It was a perfect experience from start to finish. I am not sure I would try any other Granville when this one hit it out of the park!

When we arrived, we were greeted with blinding glares from the two hostesses. They asked if we had a reservation and said there was a 45 minute wait. The restaurant was empty. Since I remembered there were open reservations, I stepped outside to make a reservation that was still open for 15 minutes from when we were told there was a 45 minute wait. We wandered the block for the 15 minutes and then went back. I stated I had a reservation and then we were told that "our manager actually just closed the reservations right after you guys stepped out". OpenTable still had reservations open. I don't understand why a business would not want customers to dine in, in this day and age, and economy. They must be doing pretty well to be turning paying customer away!

I didn't have a good experience, but decided that it could have been a one-time bad luck thing, so I didn't review. I recently tried it again now that it became Brews Brothers, and I'm sorry to say that it really misses the mark for me. Here is the breakdown of the pros and cons: Pros: One star for friendly service and being dog friendly. One star for good alcohol. Cons: - Seating is very uncomfortable. When this place was Stout, seating was very comfy. But for some reason, they've raised the bench seating WAY too high, to the point that your feet dangle if you're under 5'6". You're WAY above the table, and it's awkward and quite uncomfortable. - Food is sub-par. We tried an Okie burger and an ahi sandwich. The Okie burger was dry, tasteless, and underseasoned. The ahi sandwich was bland and unremarkable. The fries were far too overbreaded for my taste. I used to love this place, but now, after two not-great experiences with meh food and bad seating, I do not think I'll be back. Please, guys! Lower your bench seating and improve your burgers! You're competing with Forman's and Laurel Tavern!
