I was a little disappointed this time. I asked for a substitute dressing on my salmon salad and they gave me the original dressing. I didn't care for the general flavor of this salad (could be a personal taste preference not necessarily something done wrong). The focaccia was not very tender. It was actually a little hard. Positive notes: the tomato bisque soup was tasty and the salmon was cooked well. My order was ready for pick up on time and packaged well. Honestly, I probably won't go back. It was kinda mediocre which was disappointing as I have had good food before at Urbane Cafe. Update: The team reached out to me regarding my review. They took note of how I ordered and the order number. They said that they intend to use my review and feedback for training. They confirmed that I did request a different dressing and apologized that I didn't get it. For providing them with feedback they uploaded a free meal to my account. This place is RIDICULOUSLY AMAZING! I've had sandwiches and salads and you can't go wrong with either choice! I love the ahi tuna salad, the tuna was well seared and the peanut dressing that comes with it was so tasty! The club sandwich is a great choice also, everything is fresh, love the avocado inside and there's a small side salad with it, only gripe is I wish there were more orange slices in the salad! They have a great selection of small batch soda selections that you can't get anywhere else...I always drink the Snozzberry! The food is good. The fresh baked bread was great and had just the right amount of seasoning. The salad I had was all fresh and the chipotle ranch was excellent. I came here as an alternative to Panera to hopefully get some work done while I eat. No wifi. The staff maybe got annoyed that I was working there. While working outside, they came by and asked me if they could take the umbrella that was shielding me from the sun to give to another customer. If you're looking for a place to work while you eat, this is not the place. If you want some good food at a decent price, this is a slight improvement over Panera. read more

Our granddaughter's class had a school field trip today to Urbane Cafe and everyone really loved it. The manager Chris was excellent and it was obvious he really loves his job. He was really into showing the kids how they prepare the food from making the bread to running the cash register. I ordered the chicken cilantro salad and the So Cal sandwich. The salad was very fresh but did not have cilantro as shown on website photo. I did not realize that the sandwiches are served hot (my fault for assuming). I asked and was told I could request it cold, will do that next time.
