Urbane Café is fresh, fresh, fresh! People often go to Chipotle or Panera Bread during their lunch breaks. But, Urbane Café is a gem that people should get to know more and try. My partner and I had lunch here roughly a week ago, and we were craving something healthy and with lots of greens. Luckily, when we went, we were a bit earlier than usual and beat the lunch crowd. We ordered an ahi tuna salad, panini sandwich entrée plate, and two fountain drinks. Service was nice and quick, and our food was served to us in a short time. There is also plenty of outdoor seating in case there aren't enough seats inside. We will probably come back again for lunch! read more

Stopped by on New Years; busy place with lots of take-out orders. Lots of selection. The amount of house side salad you get when you order a sandwich depends on the server. My plate had a less than my sister's, which was slightly disappointing since the salad was very tasty. I liked the canned tangerine on top and the dressing was light and addicting. Got the Californian and the pickled artichokes really made the sandwich. So delicious and refreshing. Pesto & Sundried Tomato was yummy! Pretty standard sandwich that you can get anywhere, but they made a solid one. The Ahi was good and came with tasty sauce. Tuna was partially cooked, leaving only the inside of the chunks raw. Not as good as a specialized poke place, but pretty good if you're looking for a salad with tuna as your protein. read more

I have come here maybe 3-4 times in the last few months and the service, food, and everything in between has always been stellar. I use the app to order ahead and my order is always ready right on time. No missing items or requests, food is fresh, hot, and made with the same quality ingredients I always remember. The bread is always fresh and soft with plenty of fillings for each sandwich. Great for safe takeout! My bf and I visited on a Saturday evening to pickup dinner. Orders were taken online, over the counter and via phone. I called in our order. The menu was altered and more limited than the normal menu. We chose the Californian Sandwich with chicken and the vegetarian Portabella Mushroom Sandwich. We had the option of paying in person (cash not accepted) or over the phone. We chose to pay in person. Our food was ready 10 minutes later. Parking was easy. They even had a spot designated for curbside pickup. Signs for social distancing and safety precautions were posted on the door and at the counter. The seating area was closed off and the tables were moved creating a barrier to close off the dining room. Customer service was friendly and helpful. Our food was well packaged and delicious! Upgrading my previous rating of a 4 to a 5. ------- Urbane Cafe... somewhere in between a fast food restaurant and a full sit down restaurant. This restaurant, located in an outdoor strip mall, always seems to be busy. Parking can be difficult during peak hours. The ambiance is social and fun. You can see food being prepared behind the counter. My bf and I had our most recent visit on a Monday at 1:40 p.m. We easily found parking in the decent size lot in front of UC. We also we able to order at the register quickly and find a table. The menu contained sandwiches (chicken, turkey, steak, vegetarian), soups, salads, bowls, and a kid's menu. We ordered the Californian sandwich and the Bahn Mi and were given an electronic device to alert us when our food was ready. Within 10 minutes of placing order, the device activated and we picked up our food at the counter. It looked appetizing and tasted healthy and lite. Service was helpful and friendly. My only suggestion is that they hire additional staff for peak hours to ensure the tables and floors are clean. This is a great restaurant to grab a healthy meal at a decent price. read more

My wife and I split The Harissa Chicken Sandwich and the Moroccan Jewel Chicken Bowl and they both were fantastic! The Sandwich was one of the best I've ever had and the Bowl was perfect. We stopped here on a Thursday for lunch on our way from Orange County to Sonora. We found this on Yelp and thought we'd give it a try. It's very close to the 5 freeway in a nice shopping area.
