    Green Curry Lunch Special
    Scarlett M.

Really nice and convenient place for Thai food. Stopped in during the lunch menu special and got soup, egg roll, and green curry for $12, a great deal. It was very good, however I asked for spice 4/5 and it wasn't spicy at all...maybe a 1? Service was great though and like I said good food, just wanted it with some more heat.

    Coconut wraps

Small, clean, nice Thai restaurant, walking distance from the Crown Plaza. The waitress was friendly and attentive. I had the coconut wraps as a appitizer. They were extremely good, fresh, and crispy. For the main course, I ate Pad See Ew. I got it medium spicy. It wasnt my favorite. It was fairly bland, and the broccoli was so undercooked I had to crunch them whole as I couldn't cut them. I could taste the vitamins. LOL. The coconut wraps were so good, I went back for lunch the next day with a friend and just got the wraps as my meal. I would recommend this place.

    Pad See Ew Lunch Special

I had an enjoyable time here - I ordered the pad see ew with tofu lunch special and it came with a little egg roll! The food was delicious and it was a good size portion. The staff were very attentive and the service was quick. The ambiance was nice inside and they also had a lot of patio seating.

Pad Basil Leaf Gra Pow Drunken Noodles with beef
    Matt D.

Excellent Thai food. The minced chicken in the pad gra pow was moist, spicy and sweet. Overall the dish was prepared very well. Drunken beef noodles were also prepared perfectly. All the veg was still crisp and the beef was tender. Takeout was fast and the service is always friendly and attentive. I hope they continue to serve great Thai cuisine in Chandler. It's in a location that can be hit or miss but their good food and service should hopefully overcome any hurdles

This is my fiancées favorite pad se ew to date, and we live in Thai Town in LA. She has yet to find one she likes as much. We frequented this restaurant when we lived in Chandler and still think about it. The service was also great, servings were large, and waitresses were always kind. They even brought us a dessert when we told them we were moving back to LA and were going to miss going there.

Ordered on 1/8/25 for an order that would be ready at 7:15pm. Got drunken noodles and the taste was fine until about halfway through I found a hair.

We are obsessed with this place! We order it on DoorDash almost every week When we go in person, it's even better and the service is wonderful!

Nice restaurant in downtown Chandler. The fish cake appetizer was probably the best thing I tried. Panang curry had more coconut milk than I'm used to but the flavor and spice was otherwise good.

Five Spices Roasted Pork (Moo Pah Lo) with jasmine rice medium spice
    Aimee K.

I've visited Charm Thai several times since their original opening years ago and have enjoyed their authentic Thai dishes every time. Tonight I was looking for a small meal and ordered a delicious Five Spice Roasted Pork (Moo Pah Lo) which was quite tasty but a little spicier than the medium I anticipated it to be. My friend yummy Drunken Noodles (Pad Kee Mao) also was a little spicier than the anticipated medium she ordered. We were able to enjoy some Happy Hour items too: edamame, vegetable spring rolls (both not traditional) and some white wine. Since the dishes were a little spicier than expected, they were kind enough to comp the spring rolls. We didn't have reservations but were promptly acknowledged and allowed to take a seat anywhere we wanted. Their cozy decor hasn't really changed since their original opening. Their staff are all very friendly and attentive which we always appreciate. They checked on us often and topped off our waters, brought extra plates for us to share and containers to pack up our leftovers too without being prompted. As we closed our bill out and walked out, we realized that the restaurant was filling up with only two high top tables remaining open. Such a good sight to see our local businesses being busy and filled with happy diners. We parked in the public parking garage which is conveniently a short walk back to our cars. We recommend checking them out but we have to always remember to order our dishes a little less spicy than we think we can handle just to be safe!

Phenomenal!! I am so happy I decided to try this place in Downtown Chandler. Cozy ambience to dine in and amazing presentation! The food was very good and the service was even better! We got Orange Chicken (super crispy) and Yellow Curry (so flavorful) Would definitely recommend this as a place to check out for a casual date night out

Grilled Rib Eye Steak in Holy Basil and Pad Thai

The food was delicious and a generous amount, but overpriced. Staff were very friend. Seating inside and on patio. Ambiance was both intimate and family. I may overlook the pricing and dine again to try their curry.

Crunchy Spring Rolls and Crispy Calamari
    Ray F.

Stopped in recently for some food while on a trip through the area. I was greeted walking in and seated within the same minute. My server, showed up shortly as well with a menu and water. They were kind, professional and informative. The interior clean and inviting with an outside seating area as well. I started with the Eggs rolls and the Crispy Calamari, these are great egg rolls golden crunchy brown outside and flavorful veggies inside. The Calamari was just okay though, an odd texture and a bit chewy tough. I ate a couple of them but did not finish. For my entree, I wanted something warm and filling so I opted for the Tom Yum Noodle Soup. The soup is very good as well, a large portion thats shareable. With shrimp, chicken and fat noodles and topped with green onions and spices, the broth is so flavorful and delicious. I worked my way through the bowl, each taste was as expected. Charm is a solid choice for some good Thai in the area, worth a visit and support. 4 Stars recommended 00874

I really wish it were easier to find breakfast joints with organic coffee but it can be a bit difficult to find in certain areas, such as the east valley area. This was one of a couple options I could find. We attempted to dine here for dinner on a previous occasion but it was a long wait at that time so we went elsewhere. This time we showed up around 10:15am on a Saturday in June, and we were quoted 90 minutes for two people. Fortunately there was room at the bar, so we were seated immediately. The decor is very clean and subtlety higher end. It is an open floor plan with the bar towards the front door, which is also accessible from the large patio (in cooler weather times) that has mister fans and a lot of shade. They have one of the nicest and cleanest restrooms in the valley, with complementary sea salt scrub and high end paper napkins. They also have a couple luxurious event spaces, one of which was hosting an engagement party. My mom tried a non alcoholic drink special with decaffeinated tea and fresh juices, with a little flower on top. She also tried the avocado toast. She enjoyed both but she said the avocado toast was a little spicy, albeit she has an extremely low tolerance for spice. I opted for the breakfast sandwich and black coffee. The coffee came in a neat mug with an oversized handle that was very ergonomic. It was good, but slightly watery. Was at least comforting to know it wasn't laced with tons of pesticides like most restaurants' coffee. The egg, bacon and avocado sandwich was delicious. The egg and bacon were cooked perfectly, and the bread was nice and soft but not too dry. The greens on the side were fresh with a nice vinaigrette. The service was excellent, all of the staff were friendly and seemed to be happy to be there. All in all I was impressed with this place. The only thing I wish they had on their brunch menu was an omelette, because this is first place I have been in a very long time that isn't a fine dining establishment, where they actually know how to cook eggs properly. They were fluffy, moist, and light. I don't bring this up as a brag, but I attended culinary school and learned proper scrambled egg (French style) technique years ago. This is the first place I've been in a long time that gives my eggs a run for their money.

NOT WHAT YOU THINK…read more The Spitz moniker is derived from the rotating BBQ spit, middle-eastern style rotisserie used to slow cook their meats. The name of this restaurant isn't very becoming. But you will be coming regularly once you try this place. Mediterranean food has worked it's way as a staple across the country because of the use of numerous spices, it has an undeniable bold flavor that has become a favorite of the American diet. Here is no exception and lives up to the Mediterranean flavor profile expectations with an Americanized twist on the ingredients. I ordered on the app and found it quite user friendly, which encourages me to get food here more often with the ease of use and simple interface. You have to ability to add or omit ingredients from the menu items which makes for a very satisfying customized meal (and only have yourself to blame if it is a displeasing combination) BERLINER WRAP- meat and veg all in a flatbread wrap. There's a lot of ingredients packed in this thang, so for me, I had to use extra sauce to dip and coat it all in flavor. The problem with these wraps though, is that the paper it wrapped in was getting stuck to the bread and would have to constantly peel it off that thang and it was a mess, unless you just don't mind eating the paper for some extra fiber. MEDI BOWL- The bowl was felt healthy and hearty; an all-around good dish. The crunchy garbanzo beans were a nice element to contrast against the other textures in the bowl. Again, i liked it with more sauce, but that's just me. Everything tasted fresh and delicious and I want to try the other menu items in the future.

He then said we were in for a treat! I told him that's what we've been hearing. After looking over the menu, the wife and I ordered a Street Car Donor and Berliner wrap, baklava dessert, and soda. There was only one other couple in the restaurant . I noticed to go orders and DoorDash orders were being picked up while we were waiting for our orders. By the time we left, there was a line. It didn't take very long for our orders to be prepared. It was promptly delivered to our table. The first thing I noticed was the lack of meat in my Berliner. It didn't come close to the amount of meat I saw in several photos on Yelp. After I bit into my wrap, all I could taste were the vegetables. It took a few bites before I tasted just a hint of meat. This was very disappointing. I was meat hungry and I wanted something healthy with a good portion of meat. I wasn't getting it here. A total letdown! The first thing my wife commented on her Street Car donor was how dry it was. Where was the sauce? She had to ask for tzatziki sauce. I took a bite of hers and at least she had more meat than I had. She told me I could have her other half. She was impressed to say the least! Did we come on an off day? Was there someone new in the back? I suggest they weigh out the meat each and every time to keep it consistent. It was not the experience we were expecting! Did anyone experience something similar?

I thought it was really cool how the Ferris wheel actually spun. I did think the polenta would be a bigger portion and served on the side. (They put the polenta in each meatball cup) The meatballs were a good size and tasted pretty good. One of them was topped with Calabrian chili and it was really good. It may have been their monthly special. The kids pizza was a good size for our toddler and you could tell it wasn't frozen cheese pizza. The cheese was good and I like that it comes with a drink. While the filet was tempting (and what everyone else at my table ordered), I wanted something lighter. Thankfully I was not disappointed in my selection. The chicken was as delicious as described and could be cut with a fork. The Caesar salad was well dressed, but not soggy. Do I think it was worth the money to add the chicken? Love this place! Went here on a whim because I needed someplace relaxing to study, and this place…read morewas exactly that. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick. Now, onto my order- a bagel and iced tea. The iced tea was great, no comments, and the bagel was absolutely delicious! You can tell they make it here. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that this place is also a grocery store of sorts, with really good prices. They also have board games, so if you're coming with friends, you won't be bored. I will be coming here again. A very lovely experience!

There is also a nice parking garage accessible via the alleyway between buildings under the apartments (see photo). Atmosphere 5/5 This is a One-off small business cute cafe rating. There is season appropriate seating curbside in front on Main Street. Today we enjoyed our takeout dessert in front it was such a neat overcast day. On the inside there are item for sale on small wall shelves in the dining room and freezer refrigerators giving it a small town vibe. There are approximately 6-8 tables for eat in service. As the summer temperatures arrive these tables will become even more in demand. This is a quaint Gluten Free eatery with a nice selection offered in menu. Service 5/5 This is a take menu to table, decided then return to counter to order. Orders are delivered to your table. Helping us today was Paula. She was the ambassador to the restaurant who welcomed us immediately. She asked if we've been in before and once we responded no, she thoughtfully walked us through everything including the Gluten Free information. Food 5/5 Both of us were hungry for breakfast and we were ready for this new experience. Coffee was severed in large and individually unique cups. Coffee was nice. 4-Eats we ordered for inside service; a powdered sugar Waffle and I ordered their biscuits and sausage gravy. Sides were two eggs over easy and two sausage patties for additional protein. Desert were two oatmeal cookie pies the we enjoyed curbside in front. Our breakfast choices were fantastic. For mine I ordered too much because the sausage in the gravy would have been sufficient due to their generous serving size. I will order the same thing less the two Patties. Desert 5/5 Our picks were delicious and will require another extra 30 minutes in the gym! $67.90 includes generous tip for excellent service! If you're in the Downtown Mesa area put "Against the Grain" on your list of places to eat. Eat well my friends-SYOY!
