Grace Thai is our favorite local Thai place! The food is delicious. They have a small, but mighty crew. It's usually pretty quiet in there, but they always have a great playlist on. This most recent dine-in visit was around 6:30 on a Friday. There was only one other table eating in, but it got busy around 7:30 when we left! We always start with the Thai iced tea - it's a must! This time, I tried the Yellow Curry - it's their #1 best seller, so it was time to see what the hype was about. It was delightful! The perfect combination of spice and creaminess. I thoroughly enjoyed it. We also decided to try the sticky rice dessert - it usually comes with your choice of either mango or coconut ice cream, but the server recommended both (it is an upcharge). Excellent Thai food. The minced chicken in the pad gra pow was moist, spicy and sweet. Overall the dish was prepared very well. Drunken beef noodles were also prepared perfectly. All the veg was still crisp and the beef was tender. Takeout was fast and the service is always friendly and attentive. I hope they continue to serve great Thai cuisine in Chandler. They were extremely good, fresh, and crispy. For the main course, I ate Pad See Ew. I got it medium spicy. It wasnt my favorite. It was fairly bland, and the broccoli was so undercooked I had to crunch them whole as I couldn't cut them. I could taste the vitamins. LOL. I've visited Charm Thai several times since their original opening years ago and have enjoyed their authentic Thai dishes every time. Tonight I was looking for a small meal and ordered a delicious Five Spice Roasted Pork (Moo Pah Lo) which was quite tasty but a little spicier than the medium I anticipated it to be. My friend yummy Drunken Noodles (Pad Kee Mao) also was a little spicier than the anticipated medium she ordered. We were able to enjoy some Happy Hour items too: edamame, vegetable spring rolls (both not traditional) and some white wine. Since the dishes were a little spicier than expected, they were kind enough to comp the spring rolls. We didn't have reservations but were promptly acknowledged and allowed to take a seat anywhere we wanted. Their cozy decor hasn't really changed since their original opening. Their staff are all very friendly and attentive which we always appreciate. They checked on us often and topped off our waters, brought extra plates for us to share and containers to pack up our leftovers too without being prompted. As we closed our bill out and walked out, we realized that the restaurant was filling up with only two high top tables remaining open. Such a good sight to see our local businesses being busy and filled with happy diners. We parked in the public parking garage which is conveniently a short walk back to our cars. We recommend checking them out but we have to always remember to order our dishes a little less spicy than we think we can handle just to be safe! read more

I ordered chicken with steamed rice. The chicken appeared to be cooked like it should've been. The flavor was good but most restaurants evidently don't understand or don't care. Chicken only needs to go to 165 internal temperature. This chicken I think was cooked to 265 even though the flavor was good. It was so overdone it wasn't even funny. I mentioned it to the waitress who couldn't speak good of English but some so oh I'm sorry about that and then walked away. They served us with each one of us, a spring roll and some sweet sauce that barely wasn't enough to eat the spring roll with. Stopped in recently for some food while on a trip through the area. I was greeted walking in and seated within the same minute. My server, showed up shortly as well with a menu and water. They were kind, professional and informative. The interior clean and inviting with an outside seating area as well. I started with the Eggs rolls and the Crispy Calamari, these are great egg rolls golden crunchy brown outside and flavorful veggies inside. The Calamari was just okay though, an odd texture and a bit chewy tough. I ate a couple of them but did not finish. For my entree, I wanted something warm and filling so I opted for the Tom Yum Noodle Soup. The soup is very good as well, a large portion thats shareable. With shrimp, chicken and fat noodles and topped with green onions and spices, the broth is so flavorful and delicious. I worked my way through the bowl, each taste was as expected. We ordered delivery from this location once and weren't very happy but we thought if we ate at the restaurant the food would be better. We were right as far as the food was concerned but the overall experience left me wanting much more. The wait staff was a bit disjointed and seemed all over the place. Our food although good, came out in such a haphazard way that my food was delivered when more than half our table was already done. To top it off my shrimp dish had the smallest shrimp I've ever eaten outside of popcorn shrimp and the shrimp in my mother in laws dish were so big it would take 4 or 5 of mine to be the same size. When it was all said and done the amount of our bill left me thinking we should have gone to a nicer restaurant with a better atmosphere and wait staff. Probably will not be returning. read more

I came here with my husband and mom and we all loved it! Parking is pretty easy as there is plenty of free public parking 1 block away. The service here is friendly and overall good. The only complaint is they did not refill our waters (not the biggest deal and they seemed busy). The food is amazing! I ordered the orange chicken and it was flavorful. I do not like/tolerate spice at all and when you order no spice it truly has no spice here. Sometimes Thai restaurants have bland food if you order no spice, but this food was still very flavorful without the spice. My husband ordered curry and also loved his dish. The presentation here is well thought out and beautiful. Prices are reasonable. We will definitely add this place to one of our "regular" spots! A bonus for me is that they offer a large amount of gluten free items and the dishes are clearly marked on their menu. read more
