    Chipotle Bacon Shrimp pasta !

I'm never disappointed when I come to Urbano they always have such a friendly face and very helpful when it comes to menu! It's a hit every single time whether it's their spicy chicken, pastas or delicious shrimp, salmon, and steak! The food is perfection and I'm disappointed in these bad reviews been coming here every week and every every week I serve something delicious cooked perfection!

A great place to dine before going to the Gallo Center which is a block away. We had an amazing meal here! The Shrimp Bruschetta was so delicious. My husband really enjoyed the Ribeye with Gorgonzola and Mushrooms with mashed potatoes. I had the Salmon and Shrimp with roasted zucchini and red potatoes and lemon caper sauce. Loved it! Hats off to the chef! They have a bar. They could add more wine options though. They also have Jazz every other Monday.

This place hosts live music where they will charge their patrons $50 a ticket for you to go stand in a parking lot. No chairs no tables and if you want a table it was $250. Times for the groups that were going to be there all out of place so if they listed a group you wanted to see or listen to at 8 and they played at 3, you missed it. They hosted a live event on August 28 and it was shut down by Modesto Police Dept. They told us to go inside the restaurant after they had to shut down and that the live music would continue there, only to find out it was a private party where those from that private party were upset (rightfully so) but those people from the party didn't go about it the right way. They were mad at us, very disrespectful because we were invading their space BUT, the staff from Urbanos told us to go in and we didn't know what was going on so the party people should have taken it up with Urbanos staff and not us. Never again and hopefully my review will save some of you from making the mistake and trusting Urbanos either to host your personal party or any live events where they will be charging you any money. Very disappointed. We did not get our money back and they staff kept pushing it off acting like they were trying to do something about it when in fact they were not.

Really?! Crinkle - cut fries = frozen. LAME! And they were supposed to be garlic fries. Boo.

Waited forever for burnt, frozen food. I went with a group of 8 during the lunch hour today and Urbano was awful. **Reason #1: only 2 other parties were in the restaurant (one a party of 4, the other a party of 3) and it took them almost 15 minutes just to take our order. **Reason #2: it took another 30 minutes to even start to receive our food; which I had to get up and ask a server to put all of them into to go boxes because we had to get back to work. **Reason #3: BURNT BURGER! Not only was the Cajun Burger burnt but it was crumbly dry because it was SO overcooked and additional dryness because they forgot to put the Cajun mayonnaise on it. **Reason #4: crinkle-cut French fries. Don't get me wrong, I love them but when I go to a restaurant that looks as nice as this one and the burger and fries costs $10, I expect fresh made fries (it's not that hard). **Reason #5: I work only 5 short blocks away and I was still 15 minutes late coming back to work. (therefore I took a 75 minute lunch) If you happen to have a lunch break more than an hour than you will ONLY have to complain about the food. The other people in my party ordered salads and/or pastas. And the salads were overpriced for the meek amount you receive and the pasta dishes weren't anything to rave about.

I bought the tropical tacos, and fought off the temptation to rebuy the same order... very happy. Thank you for hosting our WEevoleSocial event. We were in the right place!!!! I'm coming back.

Food was well prepared and wonderful. I had the clams in chorizo sauce and the the flavors were outstanding. House wine s great value. We will return.

Mediterranean bruschetta on warm sour dough. Yum!

The food was just your typical diner type, greasy spoon kind of place. I got an egg white omelette with ham (looked like cut up pieces of thin sliced deli meat) and asked that fresh potatoes be boiled in water or steamed in water due to food allergy. What I got was fried potatoes. When I questioned the server he just said that's how they come. Do they not have raw potatoes in the back they could have boiled for me?? The taste of the omelette was meh and I only ate 4 bites. I obviously didn't eat the potatoes. The English Muffin felt oily, like someone touched it with greasy hands. I had asked for it to be dry and with no butter. So basically I didn't eat any of my food and will not be back (this was my third time here and none of the other experiences were any better.) Such a shame because it is only 5-minutes from my house. My dad ordered the chicken fried steak and my mom got the taco salad and both of their meals were inedible too. The food here is just BAD. I told the server I didn't like my food and he didn't even answer me. He took away three plates of uneaten food and no one asked if there was an issue and no manager bothered to come over to even talk to us or try and make it right. What a HUGE waste of money. Don't bother eating here...so many other places to eat that are so much better. This place was packed and no real waiting area...everyone just squished together. This is a hustling and bustling place, so if you are looking for a quiet spot, at least don't go when we did. Best part of this place is their wall for taking pictures. I think they care more about making things look IG worthy, than the quality of the product they are serving.

Here, you order your food, grab a number, and find your own seat for the food to be brought out to you. We sat at a table outside to decide what to order. There were no menus available so we just had to search for it online before heading inside to order. Despite being third in line from the register, we had an extremely long wait to order. There was only one person running the register who also had to make the drinks, meaning the service incredibly slow. We wanted to order the five taco platter, garlic fries, chicken Caesar salad, and mimosa pitcher. Sadly, we were only able to get the pitcher and salad. The cashier told us "sorry, we aren't doing fries right now." Not doing fries? Every plate in the vicinity had fries on them. She said that because it was brunch hour, only food on the brunch menu could be ordered. We looked at the brunch menu again and literally saw garlic fries as an option as a side for the burgers/sandwiches. No where did it specify that you can't order off the other menu and both were available online. What bothered us about this is that we placed this order at around 1:50pm, and brunch ended at 2:00pm. I understand that we are not entitled to things on the lunch menu during brunch-time for items like the tacos, but considering the menu swap was less than 10 minutes away and they were quite literally were "doing fries" at the time, it didn't make much sense to us. The only food that we ended up ordering was the Chicken Caesar Salad. This one dish took a super long time to receive. By the time it was brought out, the three of us nearly finished the Mimosa pitcher. The waitress noticed we had no silverware and said she would go grab us some. Because of how the service had been going thus far, we placed a bet on whether or not the waitress would come back with the silverware. Surprise, surprise. She didn't. We had to go inside later and search for silverware ourselves. We weren't even able to get sharing plates which was upsetting since the waitress asked us if we would be sharing the salad. The salad itself looked delicious, but was bland. The dressing was missing that zing and zest that a Caesar dressing typically has. I do appreciate that is was a chopped salad, had avocado, and seasoned croutons. It is just unfortunate that it was lacking any flavor at all. The food prices are quite affordable for the quantity of food you receive though. This experience was disappointing because I was so optimistic about the place. The menu looked good, it had fun and casual vibes and a cool crowd of people. If Commonwealth worked towards better service practices, it would have been a more positive experience.

Maxi's Bar at the DoubleTree -- The Team That Keeps Me Coming Back…read more Let me tell you something about this place: You do not just walk into Maxi's for a drink.....you walk into a scene. Not the dramatic kind... the good kind. The kind where everyone is doing their own thing, the energy is light, and somehow the universe decides to let you breathe a little easier. Dino Dino is the kind of guy who can greet you without saying a word. You walk in, he looks up, gives you that "I see you" nod, and suddenly the whole day feels better. Steady hands, steady presence, and the type of human you're just glad exists in the world. If there was a Hall of Fame for good dudes quietly making the world nicer, Dino is already in it. Teresa Teresa is a whole mood. A whole vibe. A whole comedy sketch without trying. She will be pouring a drink, ask out loud "Single?!" and somehow you will look around the room like the universe is sending you a message, only to find out she was talking to you the whole time. Her smile is genuine, her timing is perfect, and she makes you feel like you just handed her the winning lottery numbers by simply answering a question honestly. She is the secret sauce of Maxi's, bright, sharp, and the kind of person who makes a quiet night fun. Ron (...yes, Ron) Now listen.... you have not lived until you have watched Ron run this place like he owns shares in time itself. He is direct. Efficient. Sometimes unintentionally hilarious. And absolutely part of the charm. Ron will tell you exactly what is what with the energy of a man who has already worked three shifts today. But here is the thing: he cares. He hustles. He keeps everything moving. And you cannot help but respect the guy. He' is the engine behind the bar, whether he admits it or not. The Room Soft lighting. Clean counters. A bar that feels like neutral ground, a place where the day calms down, the conversations soften, and the flowers (yes, the bouquet on the table) somehow match the mood perfectly. It is the kind of spot where you can sit with a beer and lime, watch the world do its thing, and know you are exactly where you are supposed to be. Final Word Maxi's is more than a hotel bar.... it's a little pocket of peace with a staff that makes it feel like home. Dino keeps it cool, Teresa brings the spark, and Ron... well, Ron makes sure the ship sails whether the rest of us know the route or not. Five stars. Easy. Wish I could give them six. I'll be back....and they already know it.

My boyfriend and I have been to Standard Pub several times during the day, and every visit has been fantastic. We've enjoyed the food, drinks, and even had the pleasure of speaking with the owner on multiple occasions. The service was always welcoming, and the food was consistently phenomenal. Because of those great experiences, we decided to bring some friends on a Saturday night. We arrived around 7:30 PM, and the atmosphere looked promising. There appeared to be a DJ setting up, and the crowd seemed excited for a night of music, food, and drinks. Unfortunately, our experience that evening was completely different from what we had come to expect. We ordered food and drinks, and while our server wasn't outright rude, he seemed uninterested in providing the level of service we had previously received. As the night went on, things became increasingly odd. Shortly after ordering another round of drinks, while our drinks were still full and we had just received them, the server approached our table and asked if we were finished. My boyfriend jokingly responded, "No, let me talk to your manager," and laughed, assuming the server was joking as well. The server responded, "Yeah, it's my brother," but with an attitude that left everyone at our table looking at each other wondering what had just happened. He then informed us that we needed to put a credit card on file. At that point, we had already been there for over an hour, and it seemed strange that this requirement was only being brought up then. We also noticed that no other tables around us were being asked for a card. The most disappointing part came when we received the bill. There was an additional $60 service charge added--$35 on my friends' bill and $25 on ours. Confused, we asked for an explanation. The explanations we received kept changing. First, we were told it was because my boyfriend was sitting with another group, which was completely false. Then we were told it was because the bill exceeded $100. After that, we were told it was because there were more than six people in our party, despite there only being four of us. The inconsistent explanations were frustrating and made it feel as though the staff were simply making up reasons to justify the charge. Our issue wasn't necessarily with a service fee itself--it was the lack of disclosure and the conflicting stories we were given when we asked about it. To make matters worse, the receipt also included a separate line for an additional tip. After discussing it with them and explaining that additional charges should be clearly communicated to customers, the service charge was ultimately removed. This review is not a reflection of the food, which remains excellent, nor of our previous experiences at Standard Pub. It is solely based on the service and handling of the situation during our Saturday night visit. We left feeling disappointed and confused, especially because this establishment had earned our trust through many positive visits in the past. I sincerely hope this was an isolated incident and that management addresses these issues so other customers don't have a similar experience

I started off with the mixed veggies - they were cooked soft, just how I like them. They were also flavorful! Not just regular ole steamed frozen veggies, they definitely were buttered and seasoned or something. Next, the mashed potatoes. I'm not a mashed potato connoisseur - matter of fact, I usually skip eating mashed potatoes when they're available. These mashed potatoes however were so flavorful! And it was not only the gravy doing all the talking, it was both the mash and the gravy. I was impressed! Lastly, the chicken Marsala. The chicken itself was cooked to perfection, moist on the inside & fully cooked - and with chicken breast, we all know how hard that is to accomplish. The sauce was incredible.
