She didn't just take care of me...she made me feel welcome. I ordered the shrimp chimichanga burrito plate with a cold Corona (lime and salt, of course). It was incredible. Half red sauce, half green....both flavorful, not overpowering. The shrimp was fresh and perfectly plump. Beans and rice were comforting and well-seasoned, and the fresh pico, guac, and sour cream were balanced just right. The chips and salsa came out crisp and fresh--the salsa has a real kick but not too much. Everything tasted made with care. Came here on a Friday evening. The parking lot is small and at the time it was full. There are two entrances, one for the bar, and the other for dining. We entered through the dining room side. Restaurant was on the smaller size but could fit one or two large groups at a time. We waited right inside the door, staff looked at us and didnt say anything. We continued to wait at the entrance until they finally told us we can sit anywhere (they made it seem like we were supposed to know we should seat ourselves). Brought us our menus, they have quite a selection and prices seemed good. They bring out chips, salsa and beans, all of which were really good. We ordered our food which took quite a while to come out but we weren't in a hurry (I wouldnt plan on coming here if there are any time constraints). Finally when we got our food we were pretty disappointed. Some of my food was burnt. They use a nice skillet and place corn husks underneath the food so the food doesnt get burned since the plate is hot, but some of it still did after the corn husks burned right though. The Chile verde was crazy. The pork tasted old and the green sauce was sour. Very disappointing. The chicken enchilada with green sauce didnt have great flavor, again the green sauce was not the best. The fajita meat was good though, but that's about it. The rice didnt have much flavor. Service was decent. They were nice but weren't attentive to refilling our drinks or checking on us after we got our food. Actually had to wait a bit before anyone acknowledged us so that we can get our bill. I probably won't be going back, if I do it'll be for their happy hour in the bar side to give it a try but that's about it. read more

They also took our drink order, I am normally a diet coke drinker, but they are pepsi products. Both my husband and I commented that the pepsi and diet pepsi tasted great. Customer service was friendly and efficent. My husband went with 3 beef tacos. He was satisfied, said they were decent. I went with a plate of chili verde. Pork was tender and the green sauce was tasty. We had a good experience, filled out bellies and headed out to get back home. The dining room was clean, though it had a little bit of an off antiseptic smell. Like it was trying real hard to smell clean but just wasn't there. I'm not from the area, but this is one of my in-law's favorite Mexican food places to eat, and I really enjoy coming here as well ! The portions are incredibly filling and delicious ! I especially love their limitless nachos with spicy salsa and refried beans - it is especially addicting ! This past time, I ordered shrimp fajitas and the shrimp was so tasty ! It is difficult to make shrimp tasty and so big props to this establishment ! Horchata is also my favorite drink ever, and they make it extra cinnamon-y which is awesome. The servers are also very professional and friendly. The inside of the restaurant also feels festive and is nicely decorated, fitting the theme of their cuisine. I got an Asada burrito today and ate half of it for lunch. For dinner I decided to heat up the other half and found a cockroach in the container!!! I couldn't believe my eyes! I know the restaurant has had a couple minor health code violations a few months ago, but this one takes the cake!! Or maybe the burrito rather! We did get a full refund that's not the point I wonder who else has extra protein in their meals! The health department will be notified ASAP! read more

This was our first time there as a couple as I had gone there with a girlfriend previously. Having them create the guacamole at your table is a great way to start, plus, it's fabulous! If you're thirsty for a margarita this is definitely the place to be! Was in the area and one of my colleagues recommended this place so we stopped in. Glad that we took his recommendation. The food was good but the margaritas were absolutely amazing. And boy do they pack a punch. I ordered the two items lunch special with Chili Relleno. One with the red sauce and one with the green sauce. I could not say I had a favorite they both tasted delicious. My mom ordered the taco salad and it was very impressive. Lots and lots of protein. We have been to other places where they loaded up with Rice or other fillers but not this place. They did a phenomenal job. The servers were very attentive and the place was clean. I've been here many times. The food is always great. But, this time I had an issue. As soon as my plate was set down, a BUG ran across my plate. I stopped the first employee I saw and showed it to them. They took my plate and said the would fix me a new one. 10 minutes later the new plate arrives. I get my bill, no discount or anything. They have a wide selection of drinks and happy hour margaritas. My friends got this one margarita that was orange and idk but I had the Apple margarita, blended type and it was. It seems like when they are much busier the service gets suckier? My fiends who go all the time kept apologizing and saying they are usually much faster then this but ig seemed pretty decent to me. Their menu is great! However.. I have been here twice and both times it was amazing. First time their chicken wasn't really to my liking and second time I ordered a veggie burrito that was FILLED with bell peppers. I definitely won't knock out this restaurant. I had the best Arroz con pollo here. It's so good. The sauce is amazing and there's lots of grilled onions. My only issue with the dish is you don't get much rice. It comes with a salad and tortillas. I hear there is an amazing happy hour deal here if you sit by the bar so you should try to take advantage of that. I also saw that they hand make guacamole in front of you so I'd also like to try that. They also give you fresh made chips with beans and a spicy salsa. The salsa was amazing and they were happy to give me more when requested. The only reason why I reduced it by one star is because of the service. I think they had plenty of servers, and the servers were polite, however it took a long time to get my food (which could just be the kitchen) but then I had To get up and ask for to go boxes and my check. I went at a time (late afternoon) when I think staff was changing but they could be better about managing customers in the future. That being said I literally can't wait to go back.
