I had an issue with the shipping of my order, I wanted it hand-delivered, that's what I paid for. I called them, and the customer service rep basically told me to kick rocks. My emails are going un-answered. My only option now is to chargeback the order. Really awful service. Do not order from this place!! I also fell for their BS photos and 5 star reviews on their website. The mother's day bouquet, which was priced over $100, was filled with wilted, dead flowers. It in no way matched the picture on the website in color, volume, or style. What was received was something you'd find at a sub-standard grocery store. I also tried posting a review on their website to warn people, since the listing had exclusively 5 star reviews, and it somehow never appeared on their website (despite me verifying my email twice for it to be posted). Also, their customer service is just AI chat bots that can't resolve any issues. Reading all these other reviews on Yelp, I'm kicking myself for ever ordering from here to begin with. But please don't make my same mistake and order from a real florist, or save yourself money and go to the grocery store. read more

Skimpy arrangement arrived in box with no vase at all, and the wine "pairing" never delivered. "Customer service" is an AI bot that offers excuses, saying to wait 2 more days for the wine & continues to deny a refund even after 9 emails and multiple chats. Very deceptive, perhaps fraudulent to upsell you on adding gifts to the flowers that they don't actually have, only to explain after the fact that these come from a different vendor and won't be delivered with the flowers. Unbelievably bad. I ordered Valentine's flowers for a dying relative. They didn't make it on Valentine's Day (even though I paid for that delivery day). Urban Stems didn't even notify me of the delay. The link in the tracking email did not work. When I called, they offered to refund the shipping...I insisted upon a full refund. When it finally got there (the night of 2/15)...the bouquet (which was supposed to be a triple) was so puny I'm embarrassed to have even given it - it was a few stems in a vase that was too large. This experience has been the worst by far with Urban Stems. I've ordered flowers for different occasions through them before, had no problem--this time around the order never came. They failed to reach out to the recipient or myself about the order. I never received updates as to the progress of my order--even on the delivery date it hadn't even updated it was shipped. The customer care team was unable to provide solutions for a refund. They also never redelivered my original order. I'm currently working with the bank to get my money back. They say they only offer credit/refunds for damaged goods. But no type of resolution for orders that were never delivered. 0/10 for Urban stems :( read more

**see photos for reference!*** For Mother's Day I was elated to have received a double bouquet in a beautiful metallic gold painted glass vase from Urban Stems. That elation ultimately turned into utter disappointment. They were left outside my door and I have no idea what time they were dropped off and how long they might've been sitting there, but unfortunately even despite that, I thought I was extending their life by sticking them right in the fridge to combat any heat damage they could've endured from the hallway, and I had to work double shifts the next two days and wouldn't be home to enjoy them. So day 3, I am finally off work, and I wake up excited to finally enjoy my flowers and give them fresh water and a snip (I know how to care for flowers, I'm not a newb or clueless), and to my surprise I pull them out of the vase and they're just rubber banded together bone dry. There was no water in the vase. So they sat dry in my fridge for 2 days, and before that, for however long in the hot hallway of my apartment building- strangled with a rubber band the whole time to boot. This was very upsetting to me because I was trying to do my best to preserve them longer by keeping them in the fridge- It's a special occasion that I receive flowers and I wanted to make the most of it- little did I know the two days they sat in the fridge dry was only contributing to their already poor state of health upon arrival. I looked at the packaging again assuming I was just a complete dummy and missed the signage that said "put in water immediately"- but no, there was none. I was in disbelief so I inspected every corner of their included cards, which were just advertisements for future purchases. The only "directions", were the illustrated directions on the back of the flower food satchet. But even those don't say anything about the fact that they're dry upon arrival. The card with the sender's personalized message has in small print at the bottom "don't forget to check out the care instructions inside your envelope!"- again, there was no such thing inside the envelope. I can't believe this so I take apart the box they arrived in and lo and behold the care instructions are stuck between the inner and outer layers of cardboard- in other words,NOT in the envelope, as stated. Whoever packaged it just carelessly threw in this crucial info. as an afterthought and put it between the inner and outer cardboard layers. Customer service gave me a coupon for 50% off future purchases but said that they couldn't do more than that (I would've loved a replacement bouquet, since this time I know they need water immediately), but they told me since more than 5 days had passed (it was 10), that they had a policy in place preventing it. In my case, by day 3 when I find out they're not in water that only leaves me 2 days- I did everything I could to revive them and was optimistic (but I'm also incredibly busy as a single mom working full time), but I gave up after 10 days and reached out, once the roses were looking too far gone. Half of the roses never even bloomed. I still have them and have changed their water and given them fresh food and spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to undo the damage done by Urban Stems- the roses are still buds and clearly aren't going to bloom. I would understand if I couldn't prove all of this happened but closed rosebuds are clear evidence of the poor handling, and in this case the more time that passes and they still haven't bloomed if anything just further supports the fact that I am not lieing. In short, don't do business with them, or if you do- DON'T purchase the add on $30 vase, because you're just paying $30 for them to hide the fact that the flowers aren't in water, and your recipient won't have any inclination of their need to add water if the care instructions are thrown in the bottom of the box, as they were in my case, and how would anyone know that a bouquet would arrive in a vase dry? That's obviously not the norm and hasn't been a standard practice ever with any flower company. If Urban Stems wants to be unique in this way, their packaging should also be uniquely forthcoming about this. But instead they take no responsibility. And if you're like me and you remain optimistic that you can relinquish any damage yourself, assuming that if your attempts fail that Urban Stems surely will make it right- don't be foolish, they won't. Instead they punish you for doing so by refusing to make it right in the end if your attempt exceeded their extremely short refund window. Very disappointing experience. read more

Well, I thought this might be a gamble using a NY based company to have flowers sent to the upper corner west coast and I guess I was right but it was a good experience, overall because UrbanStems made it right. The Margot bouquet arrived with only one noticeable ranunculus and at least half of the roses having brown edges. From what I tracked, it took 48 hours to get from Georgia to Washington state. I was hoping they would have a west coast based supplier so that there would have been less chance of this outcome. Anyways, I sent a picture in and expressed my concern with a customer service agent and she quickly agreed that they didn't meet their quality standard and offered to fix it. I appreciate that although I only took a credit for now instead of another delivered product because I don't want to risk my mom getting something else of that quality and I know they must be slammed this holiday weekend. I've received many roses and flower arrangements over the years and this was by far the best I have received. The roses lasted more than 8 days. I did cut them back and soak in cold water but they were so fresh when I received them and they stayed beautiful and fragrant all that time. they were mostly roses with some ranuncula and small pink flowers and greens. the pink flowers and greens are still going. My daughter sent me a sympathy bouquet today. FedEx handed them to me directly and I took them in the house and opened the box. Imagine grieving for your dead relative and opening the box to find DEAD flowers. I called customer service at Urban Stems and they promised a refund if I sent an email with the order number and pictures. They promised not to disturb the sender with the problem. Then the games began. 1. They asked me for the order number again. 2. They asked me when they were delivered again. 3. They demanded the sender's email claiming not to find the order number which was nonsense since the purchaser's email was attached to the order number in their system. 4. I told them I understood what they were up to. 5. They finally harassed me again and told me that the original order placer has to contact them. Lies and more lies. We received The Satin arrangement at our home. The flowers were wilted, the arrangement flower cuttings were un even. Some of the cuttings were too short. The leafy parts of the arrangement had rust on them. I tried to call but was left on hold with no follow up. Not worth the price they charged. read more

I would not trust this company with flower delivery for an important event. I tried ordering Double the Margot for $169 for my mom for Mother's Day. I ordered them on May 3rd to be delivered on May 10th. That would be 7 days in advance, 5 business days, and not to mention they were offering delivery for Mother's Day well after my order on the 3rd. On May 8th I got an email telling me my order was "upgraded" to Double the Glamour that was being sold for $162. So I was upgraded to a cheaper product without refund. And then Mother's Day came and went with no delivery. I reached out to inform them my delivery was late and they offered to refund my shipping fee. That would be awesome except I didn't pay a shipping fee since the flowers were $169. So they offered to refund me $0 for not delivering a product. I would never use them again. In the process of cancelling my entire order as it is not 48 hours past and still no delivery. It's not a late delivery, it's straight up not coming. I called customer svc repeatedly- was told it would absolutely arrive following day. Nope. Checked tracking and saw no movement forward. Dealing with customer svc was awful- the reps said they had "no way" to know where the flowers were or why there was a delay. I really didn't want a wilted mess delivered since it was "somewhere in transit" all this extra time They offered to send another in its place but "the earliest it would arrive would be not tomorrow- but the following day- well after it was supposed to arrive. I have ordered from Urban Stems numerous times in the past and have purchased the most from them this August. I ordered two beautiful arrangements for two birthdays that happened to be days apart from one another and they were both stunning, as expected. However, this week I just ordered the "Vogue" The Summer by Design with the gorgeous blue vase for $115 as a token of gratitude for someone. It arrived two days later and they received a completely different looking arrangement without the blue vase that initially drew me in the first place and was the whole reason I even purchased it! It didn't look anything like the picture on the website and I was completely disappointed!! The recipient was stripped of the awestruck feeling that I wanted her to feel. Immediately, I contacted customer support and they were so condescending in the manner in which they were speaking to me. Website baits and switches you, delivery is a mess, cannot a location that i it cerified by Google, as if e nver delivered anything before Google, then not once but twice deliver to the wrong address. They keep switching customr service reps who each promis a different resoluton only to get the address wrong again but charge your credit card twice after saying free redelivery or offering a miniscule partial refund. Flowers received were not as ordered. The quality was awful, browning & wilted when received. They did not last 2 days. The sender contacted customer service to ask why they did not send what was ordered, and was told they did not have the specific flower available, so they sent what they had. I contacted customer service as the recipient, sent photos of the flowers and after over an hour on the phone was reluctantly told I would have the choice to receive either another bouquet or a credit to purchase flowers again. I did not receive either, and am now on the phone for almost 1 hour again trying to receive the credit promised and getting nowhere. Very poor quality & outragiously poor customer service. read more
