I ordered the most expensive bouquet which cost $150.00 and what was delivered was hardly worth the money. Color palette was off, certain flowers were wilting, and lavender was missing. I emailed the company to let them know that I would not be purchasing their product again and received a response in which I was offered half back in store credit. On Valentine's Day I usually buy my girlfriend flowers from a local grocery store since they have pretty good prices for a decent quality. This year I thought I would do something special and order her a dozen red roses from UrbanStems. All in all the cost came to be about $90. I spent that much because I assumed that the quality of the flowers would be incredible. Boy was I wrong ... The flowers my girlfriend received were wilted and some stems were bent. I was really pissed off because the year before I bought flowers from a Trader Joe's for under $20 and honestly those flowers were nicer. I sent pictures of the roses to customer service and asked for a refund but they gave me store credit instead. At the time I wasn't too mad since i thought the potted plants on their website were pretty. So I used the credit towards a plant but low and behold the store credit couldn't get applied to the shipping cost for some reason. I ordered the plant anyway since I wanted to utilize my credit, but right after I hit submit order I realized how shady urban stems was being for making me pay $15 for shipping. I emailed customer service again and asked for a full refund because of the shipping issue and they finally gave it to me. I just assumed that they cancelled my plant order after that and I moved on. A couple of days ago I got a knock on my door and to my surprise the plant had been shipped to me. I thought maybe UrbanStems was trying to redeem itself so I opened the package and I was greeted by even more disappointment. The plant was destroyed somewhere in the shipping process... I baffles me to think that the $15 I paid to ship this plant (which I was never refunded) did absolutely nothing to ensure the safety of it. I happened to be browsing for flowers and an ad for UrbanStems popped up, and I was reminded about the complete and abject disaster last year (2018) on Valentine's Day with urban stems. Long story short, UrbanStems failed on every count, from actually delivering flowers (which never happened, despite ordering them over a week in advance), to customer servicer response, to refunding me my money. If you are delivering on a random day, it *might* be okay, but if you are ordering for a special occasion (like Valentine's Day), be prepared to not have flowers delivered, no one respond to your email until a day later (which is a day too late), and initial resistance to refunding your money, which will be how it will ultimately end up. To add insult to injury, if I remember correctly, their customer service couldn't get back to me in a timely manner because they were swamped with calls and were working "late into the night," or something like that. That should tell you how widespread the issues were. They may have it all figured out one year later, but I'm not attempting to find out this year. Caveat Emptor! read more

The eucalyptus looked like it had some parasite and other fillers were completely dead.
