These guys are awful, cannot get pick up orders correctly nor are they willing to fix their mistakes. Don't buy from them if you value your time and money. Ordered a 1G AlienLabs cartridge, they gave me a 0.5G disposable battery one. Were completely unwilling to exchange it for the right order and tried to act like it's my fault. Have gone here 3 times and each time they have had to re enter my information in. Then they have the audacity to come up to me WHILE I am purchasing stuff and try to tell me I can't be in there bc I am 19 and my med card expired only for me to be walked out then let back in bc my med card wasn't actually even expired it still has a month left on it. I handed my boyfriend my money and walked out bc I was embarrassed and so anxious. I have autism and social anxiety and it is hard for me to go out and do these things and this was just a completely awful experience and I will never be returning. There are so many wonderful dispensaries in san diego that treat you with kindness and hostility, unlike this place. Have never ONCE had a good experience here. Super overpriced too. read more

From the double waiting line (seriously) to the rude "receptionists" who demand your ID and start tracking your identity for personal use without asking, and when questioned about what they were doing we were treated rudely and lied to about the purpose of the "account creation". I've been coming here for over a year and I've never once been disappointed. I just got home after making my purchases this evening, November 27,2020. I'm not one to "review" much because, well I honestly don't think about it too much. I'm just so grateful though so here we go - I apologize in advanced that I do not remember the greeter's name, but they are the most inviting, personable, and down right enjoyable person I have ever come in (socially distant) contact with. When they greet you, you feel as if you're speaking with one of those good friends that you don't contact often but always pick back up where you left off. You simply CANNOT be upset while walking in because they are such a bright light of a being. The facility and staff as a whole is inviting in an inclusive manner. Staff members seem to truly enjoy not only being there but being around one another as coworkers. My budtender today was Andrea and she's, respectfully, the cutest ever. She was so welcoming and helpful to the point where I completely forgot to ask if their ornaments, that are presented on their beautiful Christmas tree located in the waiting lobby, were for sale. I want one so bad lol. Seriously, I told my self over 20 times while I was waiting to immediately ask about the ornaments before getting to the good stuff.‍ Anyways, after loving their facility and their products for a substantial amount of time, I knew I needed to make my PSA regarding my experience. I've never done business with these guys. However, they are making scam texts to my phone number. They sent a message saying my order was being processed. I never made an order. The text came from 1-202-844-6324 telling me to call 1-619-275-2235. I called. I was put on hold immediately. While all this was going on, my husband was checking all of our accounts to be sure all was secure and no charges had been made. Not cool. At all. Thanks for the scary morning guys. read more

With marijuana now legal for recreational use, we thought we'd visit while on vacation. We happened to be there during 420 and figured we'd check out what they had for sale. The line out the door was a little intimidating but they did a really good job of keeping it moving by checking people in ahead of going inside. They had chips and water for while people waited and all the staff was friendly and welcoming despite the amount of people. I assume it's not normally like this. In terms of crowds. The bud tender was very nice and helpful for us, who don't know much about weed and they had a lot of buy one get one for $1 sales. My birthday was the day before and they give you a free joint if your birthday is the day before, on or after the date of your visit. The lobby/waiting area was clean and modern. read more

This was a great experience. Coming from Rhode Island where this is all still foreign to us, everyone was super nice and super helpful. While visiting San Diego I had searched for locations near by. Urbn Leaf stood out amongst all the others. I also noticed that they had a $50 for $75 deal on Yelp. When we arrived we had several areas to wait in. Again, they were super helpful so they guided us thru each step. Once inside we made our selections based off of the knowledgeable and greatly appreciated advice from James who helped us. I have been using Urban Leaf since they opened and have always been a fan of their selection although they certainly are more of a pick quick and get out kind of dispensary. Their house grows are great however our last experience makes me reconsider that notion. My mother in law and wife went in to get some goodies, I was on the phone with them to help them navigate their selection. They were deciding between two items and somehow once they made their choice the other option made it into the bag. They didn't realize it until they got home so I called them to see if we could stop back in. First they said all sales were final by law which is not the case at all, there is no law against returns. Then they said they would do it but we would have to go there and then wait while they watched the footage to see who was right. Then I asked for the manager who told me my mother in law would have to come back in herself to do it. Even if it went against policy they could have made other arrangements, offered to switch them with a delivery (given I would find something else to order which is never tough in a dispensary), offered a deal on the one we actually wanted if we kept both, offered to do a quick pick up order rather than making us wait while they "reviewed the video" and maybe not lied about it being illegal to accept returns or exchanges. Stores even so much as the great dispensaries are still retail and owe the customer a kindness for choosing them and that's certainly not the experience we had in this case. read more

Loved this place the first time I visited with my ID that was already expired but accepted that time. Then the second time I come back not only did they accept my phone in order and not tell me to bring a passport but told me after I drove all the way down there ready as ever to pick up my order and got turned around at the door. Maybe do a better job consistently enforcing rules, maybe do a better job taking phone orders? Not too sure as I don't own one of these. But if I did I sure as shit wouldn't turn a paying customer around at the front door. read more

Like the vibe of professionalism but the tax is crazy . You can go to Upnorth in vista witch is a legal dispensary as well and get top quality eighth for 21 after taxes. Hear there cheapest eighth is 25 and ends up coming out too 39.00 dollars. Almost 12 dollar tax on everything . Not worth it. Both are in vista and in compliance. I have not payed that much since 2003 when I would meet someone at a gas station . Quality is the same , so not the reason. read more

Taylor took ample time with me when going over the different specials as well as products offered. Best dispensary in San Diego. It's the Nordstrom of dispensaries but without all the pretentiousness. Very well kept and plenty of products to choose from. It is a cash only establishment, so make sure to bring the greens ;). There is also a ATM on site. The check in process is smooth which keeps the line going. Just make sure to bring a valid ID. The budtenders are very knowledgeable, and can recommend different strains and concentrations for what you like. Trust me you will want to ask them questions to narrow down your options. The place is like a candy store and you'll get overwhelmed. When I checked out on my first visit I received a first time and locals discount. They also provide rewards points for returning. Always good to keep customers coming back for more. Parking is tough in the lot but plenty on the street. Just make sure you're not driving impaired. Enjoy!! read more

Unfortunately I would no longer recommend this place (or any LEGAL, state regulated CA dispensary for that matter). When I came here prior to recreational legalization, they had a great product selection and very reasonable prices. I used to buy their 'select' brand cartridges for $50 total including all taxes and fees. Then, January 1st came around and that same cartridge went to $68. Then it went to $73. Now I believe its over $80 per cartridge. The prices seem to go up everytime I return. I had to draw the line somewhere and now I can no longer afford to buy that cartridge from them. Today I paid $16 for edibles with 100 MG THC. I've paid the same price for 300 MG at 'underground' dispensaries. I understand this is the state's fault, not the store's, however as the customer I do not care. Unless money is no object to you, I would recommend checking out weedmaps.com to see some great local underground dispensaries that CA hasn't dipped their greedy hands into. Though I enjoy this store and I've always had a pleasant experience with the staff, I cannot justify spending the extra money and I will not return. read more

I'm disappointed to say the least. Urbn Leaf was recommended after I moved here from Seattle, where I-502 had been implemented for some time. Having been to a couple of other small dispensaries in SD, I was really looking forward to Urbn Leaf. The budtender was unknowledgeable, unhelpful, and impolite. I'll only list 2 interactions here: I wanted to purchase gummies that have been helping me with shoulder pain; the budtender scoffed and said the product would not help at all (even though the gummies have been alleviating pain for the past month...I wasn't aware the budtender had interviewed my shoulder and was a certified health professional). When I asked about using a voucher I received from SDCC last week, the budtender said it was only good for merchandise, but would not clarify what that entailed. I ended up just throwing the voucher away because the budtender was so condescending. I won't go into how traumatizing it is to be treated like crap in an industry that, in other states, have historically imprisoned people of color. So, I'll just sum it up as poor interpersonal skills and a complete disregard for the customer's needs, and won't be coming back. read more

NOT WORTH THE HASSLE I went there today and their Covid regulations are completely ridiculous and the staff were very rude! So I came here with my boyfriend they wouldn't let us to shop together unless we were both making individual purchases?? They made us be 6ft from each other and 8ft from the counters blocking it off with rope making it IMPOSSIBLE TO SEE THE PRODUCT , Impossible for me to even hand my money ! The employee told me I need to go get glasses if I can't see !!! (Rude) and then said he cant help me and my boyfriend at the same time due to Covid when we are 6P feet apart from each other and 8 ft apart from him & EVERYONE IS WEARING MASK & ONLY LIMITED PEOPLE IN AT ONCE ..(What the hell is the problem???) He said one of us had to go outside when the security guard told us something different (that's why we were both inside) .. we COULDNT look at the products together ! couldn't see anything ! Pretty upset. Have smoked my whole life and was delivered "mid grade" weed that I would of been embarrassed to have at 14 yrs old. Smoked it because I paid for it (had friends turn down smoking with me because it was so garbage). Delivery took 250 minutes (3 miles from my house) and when I followed back to get more and get an explanation they said I was lied to by there staff on the quality level (obv because it terrible) but they still wouldn't offer even a discount to make up for it. Bummed out mainly, thought it'd be cool to get it delivered and not have to deal with dealers, atleast dealers don't charge tax or sell oregano nuggets. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I live up the street from Urbn Leaf and my friends all recommended me to shop there. My first time in I spent $187 on products including a Honey Cartridge I was pressured to buy. 2 days after the cartridge fell off my desk and broke from the 2/3 foot drop on the wooden floor, I took the still very clearly full cartridge in to see how they could help me since the cartridge was over $90 with tax.. a pretty big investment when I could buy much more economic options. The bud tender was very kind and sweet but when she brought her floor manager over he was very rude and immediately accused me of dropping it on the cement. He told me that it was entirely my fault it broke and that they couldn't do anything to help me since it was my fault it broke and they didn't have anything to do with it. Shocking since they give free weed out to every new customer yet when an existing customer has a problem with a product they do nothing but give you attitude and accuse you. I would have still been a customer, and would have bought another Honey cartridge since I did like the flavor and energy from it. I will never be back to this establishment and will never refer a friend. My roommates up the road will as well no longer be customers. I am still just so shocked at the horrible treatment to existing customers, I can't believe a place would treat someone like this. read more
