I brought my dog here for a follow up (from a previous urgent care visit (different facility) 2…read moreweeks earlier) because he had a ruptured anal gland. I called this clinic to make an appointment and the lady was very nice to me and I was able to get him in....because my dog is a new patient she did explain that there would be a $50 deposit to hold the appointment...I had no problem with that because I found out that it does go toward the final bill of the visit. So, the appointment was set for 10:30...they do expect you to arrive 10 min early....I was actually 15 min early but when I brought him in, they were already expecting him....which I totally appreciated the prompt check in. They checked his weight and escorted us right into the exam room. Kylie (the vet tech) was so sweet! She was so professional and Rocky was very comfortable with her handling him! And Dr. Noyes was great too! She was very knowledgeable and had no problem answering my questions. Checking out was easy and the ladies at the front desk were very nice and proficient. I'm looking forward to bringing my dog here for all of his healthcare needs.

The vet was totally unfeeling! Six months of going back and forth with our cat, who was vomiting…read moreand having diarrhea. Blood test and stool test showed nothing. All the while, the vet offers no hypothesis or plan of treatment. I have to research and ask if this or that could help, or if it was this, what could we do. I got more answers from asking AI than I did from this vet. All she was interested in was running an ultrasound for $430. When I said, " Well, what would that show?" She was unclear if it would help diagnose or treat. Our poor cat was suffering, but I had to suggest different solutions! But she wanted us to bring her in, which further traumatized the cat, every 1 to 2 weeks. For what? The vet didn't offer a solution or even an effective treatment. Our cat went from a chunky 20 pounds to a rail-thin 7 pounds in 6 months! Finally, we decided to end her suffering. She was only 9 years old. Most cats can expect to live 16 to 18 years. Were we treated with sympathy, empathy? No, totally unfeeling. Just wanted to sell this or that to us in addition to charging us $360.00 to euthanize our cat. Never take your animal here!!!

I've been a client of Doc's for over 30 years and have always trusted him completely -- and this…read moreexperience reminded me why. After my dog was misdiagnosed at an emergency clinic, Doc quickly recognized the real problem and performed emergency surgery that literally saved my pup's life. His knowledge, compassion, and calm approach make such a difference during scary situations. He takes the time to explain things clearly and truly cares about both his patients and their owners. My dog is now recovering well, and I couldn't be more grateful. I highly recommend him and his team.

I have been calling several Vet offices today to find someone who could have a cyst removed from my dog sooner then my vet can next Feb. Every office I called was able to let me know if they could perform surgery sooner then Feb. and gave me a date or week with the exception of this one. She said exam first. I said ok. Then I follow up with after exam when is the soonest surgery date. Again she said must do exam first. I even asked her to take my number down and ask the vet and then call me back. Again the same response only ruder. I told he I spoke with a half dozen offices this morning and everyone could tell me a date. With how unhelpful, unwilling, condescending and rude the receptionist is, it reflects poorly on the vet and makes me questions the vets decision making and competence.

I have followed Dr. Strickland from this location to a few others and would not choose another vet…read moreover her. Overall the location is clean, Vet tech staff and reception are amazing and incredibly accommodating. Cost is cost and reflects the market price for supplies. - We initially started with Doctor Bishop and I did not appreciate his approach to a few things. There was not a major event that made me change, just felt very invalidated at times with his perspective and tone. I will credit that he very quickly diagnosed my pup early with Cushings and did a great job explaining that process. Though, i do refuse to see him and only book with Strickland when she is there- - Vet tech staff are amazing and so is the reception desk. I have never had an issue with my girls or how I set up my appointments. I do avoid students as on of my girls is incredibly aggressive at the vet. I book all my girls in one day and rotate them out, they are very understanding and accommodating to all my girls on vet day!

Didn't even ask if they could give him a sedative spent most of his time complaining. OLast time I go here and I strongly recommend taking your animals elsewhere if you have a modicum of respect for them. avoid this place like the plague!!!

I'm very disappointed in my visit to this vet. I brought my dog here twice. The issue was my dog…read morewas lethargic and not eating. He hasn't been pooping either. On the first visit, the vet told me it was maybe allergies and change his grain free food. They plucked his ears and extracted his anal glands. They sold me some topical cream as his inner thigh was a bit irritated. This visit cost $350. The second visit, i went back the next day. My dog showed no signs of improvement from the prior visit. During this time they did an x ray, blood work, gave him some stomach settling meds along with appetite meds, and they sold me the same meds to take him. This visit cost $600. Note they said they were going to send me the x rays the same day but failed to do so. Fast forward another 1 day and $900 later, I noticed still no improvement. I took my dog to the VCA in Aurora. Turns out he had an intestinal blockage and required surgery. Thank god I took him to the hospital on Sunday or he would have likely died. Animals cannot talk. This place didn't go through the process of elimination to diagnose intestinal blockage. I didn't think it was because he never had a history of eating toys but I guess there's a first for anything. This place was offering all these other fixes that had no relation to the cause of my dogs illness. It's like fixing the radio of a wrecked car. The triage process was completely unreliable. I felt they were too busy pushing meds as opposed to finding a diagnosis. I got sold on these auxiliary services that did absolutely nothing to alleviate my dog's condition. I can't recommend this place. The only bright side is my dog survived. Vets should be trained in diagnosis issues. This is especially the case for animals. Dogs can't tell you where it hurts. It's up to the vet to help identify the root cause. In my case, I felt I was being upsold on services as opposed to treating the true underlying condition.
