I was searching for a refrigerator for my place, and purchased a Samsung about two or three years ago from David, the owner, who was incredibly helpful. He walked me through all of the features, and let me know that they delivered. So perfectly convenient! I couldn't ask for more. I'm in the market for a washer and dryer now, and spotted David once again. He offered some insight before I left to see whether I needed an electric or gas appliance. I really had no idea what I was doing... but he was very understanding and happily walked me through what I should be looking for. I purchased a refrigerator in April. First of all 3 weeks later I never recieved the shipping confirmation. I called and was told the item was back ordered until late july. I asked the gentleman (whom was very nice) for a refund and he said that maybe switching to an in stock item would work. I exchange the refrigerator for a more expensive one and when it arrived it was damaged. The apartment was getting remodeled and when we unwrapped and installed the refrigerator a few days later we notice pretty significant damage. I tried calling but they were closed on weekends. I was told that I had 24 hours to report the damage or there was nothing they would do. (Again they were closed on the weekends) also they stated the item needed to have all the packaging replaced and put back on the crate within the 24 hrs. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE Apparently, this business keeps changing its name. I have seen it listed as Mega Appliances and now as U.S. Appliance Outlet. But the owner, David Bang, is the same. I had been looking for a new refrigerator and I have bought them from the Sears Outlet many times in the past. I have been very satisfied and have saved lots of money by purchasing at an outlet store. I saw an advertisement on Craigslist for a Samsung appliance outlet near the Citadel in the City of Commerce. It sounded interesting and so I decided to stop by on my way to the Sears Outlet. U.S. Appliance Outlet was located adjacent to the Citadel and was full of Samsung scratch, dent, and/or returned appliances. The prices were clearly labeled on products and seemed very fair. After carefully looking through their selection, we picked out a refrigerator that met our needs and budget. Buying the refrigerator was a normal experience and we were even able to negotiate the price. I was shocked that they only take cash or ATM for such large purchases, but I figured maybe that is how they keep their costs down. Now, I guess, it is probably because credit card companies give the consumer some protections that they don't want you to have. Like a chargeback when things go wrong. After plunking down my ATM card, Lana, charged me and wrote up the invoice. I was impressed to learn that they could deliver it same day and for "free." She had me sign that there would be an extra charge for stairs ($25 dollars) and for removing the doors if needed ($25). I signed the form knowing that my one story house didn't have any stairs but that I would have to pay to have the doors removed. I went home and busily prepared to receive the new refrigerator. They were very prompt in arriving with "new" refrigerator and proceeded to unpack it for delivery. That is where it all fell apart and David Bang was the most unprofessional and ridiculous business person I have ever experienced. First, he told me he could not hook it up because he did not have the proper tools with him. That I would have to go to Home Depot and pickup some piece to hook up the icemaker. I couldn't believe that he would come unprepared and then act like it was my fault. Who orders a delivery and then just leaves the refrigerator sitting in the kitchen for the homeowner to hook up? Apparently U.S. Appliance Center does! But, that was not the worst part. Before bringing the appliance in the house, Mr. Bang, tried to explain to me that I would have to pay $25 extra for the stairs. I asked him what stairs wherein he tried to argue with me that the small step up into my house was a stair. I told him that maybe his English was off but this was a STEP and not a STAIR and that nearly every house has a step up from the street to the front door. In fact, my house has a long walkway that brings visitors to my front door with only one small step. He argued with me to the point that he was ready to take the refrigerator back and issue me a refund. I was so close to doing just that but since I had used my ATM card to pay as cash, I didn't know what kind of protections I would have and if this guy would try some other unprofessional move. He then brought this refrigerator through the front door and in doing so used my front door rug to slide it on. In doing so he missed the rug and gouged my hardwood floors near my front door. After leaving the refrigerator in the kitchen, he proceeded to ask me for $50 for the removal of door and for the "stairs" into my home. I pointed out where he had damaged my hardwood floors and he argued and yelled at me to the point I considered calling the police. He eventually left calling it even for my damage when $50 would not cover fixing my floor, but I never wanted to see this guy again. It is such a shame that the purchase was so nice and the delivery was such an incredibly painful experience. I could understand if this was an unaffiliated delivery company, but this was the owner delivering the product. BEWARE buying from this place. I do love my refrigerator, but I am positive had I known, I would have gone to Sears Outlet instead. read more

We had a very pleasant experience with this company. It's hard to tell what it's name is (business card says Appliance Warehouse Outlet), but it's the same address and they sell appliances! We knew what we wanted and didn't have many questions, so we bought our Thor stove sight unseen. And no regrets! One tip, though. Be sure you purchase the connection hoses. Unlike appliance big chain stores, they don't ask you if you want the adapting parts to fit your gas line. Home Depot, here we come. Another tip, you can get a new stove and not the floor model, just ask. Also, while you are there and you may see another stove that "looks" nicer than the one you initially thought you wanted? Just google the make and model number and you will see reviews for the stove and whether or not it's a good buy. Our Thor was a five star (on Home Depot) and cost $500 more at HD. Ta Da!! read more

And the owner David Bang will send you technician at your expense and those technicians will "temporarily" fix it. The machine will break again in several months, and David Bang will say you can return it for 100 dallars or fix it again at your own expense. This is their strategy to rip you off! This place is no frills just Real Deals .... I was looking for a wine cooler for my wine collection. However, most wine coolers are really expensive ( even on Amazon) so I found this place via a CL ad. I was able to purchase a really nice wine cooler at a great price ! I plan to purchase a larger wine cooler in the summer b/c of how happy I am with my wine cooler from this place. The owner is NoT a fast talker sales person which is something I absolutely hate. The owner gave me plenty of time look around and decide if I wanted to purchase an item from the store. He was very knowledgable about the products and answered all my questions. I will admit I was a little unsure about this place at first b/c of the location- but I'm very happy with my wine cooler and with the No sales pressure + deal I was given on my wine cooler was great . We bought a refrigerator from this place about 5 months ago and from the first week of the purchase I started to see roaches in my kitchen mainly around the fridge. I tried to spray and putting bate and other products to kill the roaches but it has been useless. They are multiplying rapidly. We have seen a few times dead roaches in the water we get from the water dispenser of the fridge and in the ice too......GROUSE...... I tried to empty all the ice hoping that we will not see dead roach in the ice any more, but no use. We have stopped using the water and ice from the fridge. I think the health department should look into this place. I do not recommend this place at all. Keep away. Does not worth the discount. read more

Had a horrible experience here. Asian owner David is Rude, mean spirited and a bully that pushes you while you the consumer innocently walks in to buy anything at this store. If you like to be treated like crap and aggressively then this is the place. I went in to buy a portable air conditioner and David said you pay for it 1st then try it out. Then he barely plugged it in with his helper and said ok that's it. I said wait I need to make sure it works. David said are you going to wait days to see if it works. I told him no you just plugged it in and I will wait until I am comfortable that the AC gets cool. It's ugly to deal with this owner. BUYER BEWARE. I bought a refrigerator from David which immediately started leaking 3 weeks after purchase. After several failed attempts to contact David I finally caught him and he refused to send out a technician and agreed only to send me the part he thought would fix it. This is after he asked me to split the cost with him and I refused,and I still had to install the part myself. Well the part did not fix the problem and now he is still refusing to send out a tech again because he's stating it's out of warranty when it is not. We were happy to find this outlet and buy a new refrigerator at a reduced price. We paid to have the refrigerator delivered. We had trouble with the ice maker from day one. I talked to David many times in the first week. He gave me suggestions of un-plugging the refrigerator to reset the ice maker. It made ice on and off....not consistent...... There is a terrible frost build up in the dispenser area. I called again. He told me that warm air is getting in and to be sure the door is closed. The door closes well. I called back the next day and he said to be sure the flap is closed after it dispenses ice. The flap does not close. You have to put you hand up in the dispenser area and manually close the flap. We had to leave home for close to a month due to a death in the family. We are back home and still 'suffering' with the frost, with the sometimes ice, sometimes not..... I want him to deliver another refrigerator and take this one away. It was trouble from day one. He said he will not do that. He says we are to bring the refrigerator in for repair or pay for a technician to come to our home to repair. We have no way of returning this refrigerator. Also, what do we do with all of our food in the refrigerator and freezer while it is in for repair? How do we get the refrigerator back home? How do we get it back to them? We should have gone to Lowe's, Home Depot, Sears to buy. Do not buy a refrigerator from this appliance outlet. You will not know what you are getting and if there is a problem, it will continue to be your problem. David will not help you, he will only help himself. Very small minded and short-sighted approach to building a customer service business. I give this business NO STARS! read more

I give this jackass a subzero rating. Nothing but a LIAR! and thief. He stated I was buying a brand new returned fridge that just had a few dings. Turned out a few months later I had freezer problems. Then a few months later the fridge kept shorting out. I lost hundreds of dollars in food. I didn't even have it 3 months before the nightmare begun. He would not refund my money and exchanged it for another piece of garbage. He refused to send out a service tech because I live to far and we had to load it up and exchange it ourselves. If I had the cash flow to buy another one, I would have dumped it in the front of his store for all to see the garbage and lies he is selling..... BE advised to stay away from this place. Save your money and buy new! I will never buy from a place like this again. You'll see some bad reviews for this place but I have to tell you that I had a great experience shopping there. If you're shopping here you have to understand that the appliances you are purchasing will most likely have some form of a defect. I recently purchased a Samsung flex dry. This dryer normally retails for around $1500 at Best Buy or Home Depot and he had it for less than half the price. The owner pointed out a large dent on one of the side panels but my wife and I still decided to purchase it as is. I took it home and installed it. Right away I realized that the dent was a much larger issue than that just being a simple dent. The side panel was so dented that it was hitting the drum. So as a drum turned it kept slamming the side panel making an awful noise. I immediately called him and because he has a 90 day warranty, he agreed to send out a tech to fix it. Tech came a few days later and he fixed the dent. No more banging and dryer is working perfectly. I recommend this place is you are looking to save money on appliances...just understand that they will have a dent or scratch or other damage. read more

Mario is right. No frills just deals. I didn't use a delivery service so I can't speak to the other reviewer's experience. In fact, I didn't use the delivery service because of his poor review. However, I wish I had used it. David was ridiculously nice and helpful. He helped my friend and I load up our truck and even gave me a ratchet strap to secure the load (I need to go back there and return it)! I bought a Samsung refrigerator (french door, stainless steel, 26 cu.ft.) and Samsung front loading washing machine and Amana gas dryer for $1950 (no tax). Because his prices are so low, things move quickly. If you window shop and come back, there's a good chance that your product of interest will be gone. This happened to me. Know that he only accepts cash and debit cards. There is no manufacturer's warranty but he gives you a 4 month guarantee. You can opt for a third party warranty through Square Trade; I did not. I have installed my newly bought appliances and all work just fine. I easily saved $1500 and wouldn't hesitate to come back to David for more. Edit: it is now almost July of 2016 and my appliances are still performing as should and expected. Thanks man! Edit: July 2018 and still going strong. I think the units are hit or miss and the people with misses are understandably pissed off. I guess I got lucky!? read more

I live an hour away from this place and I was hoping to get a Honeywell AC unit. The Korean guy attitude SUCKS!!! Terrible customer service!! He tried to sell me a unit that was out of the box! I asked questions about the unit and he answered in one word or less. Is this used? Refurbished? Warranty? Etc. He then walked off and I'm like yo man WTF! I eventually found a unit that was in a box and the box was even beat up and battered. I then realized the units weren't brand new, they were returns and refurbished. I didn't mind that for the price but I just wanted to make sure it's not a lemon. I made him open it and plug it up so I can be sure it worked. I ultimately purposed the unit and prayed that I got a good one. Now I'm home and the AC works great so far. I'm still worried that something will go wrong soon. I gave it one 2 stars only because all the parts were there and for the unit working. 0 stars for customer service. He's in the wrong business for sure. read more
