This place is DA BOMB or LIT, or whatever the current "AWESOME" phrase is!!!! LONG REVIEW, but worth reading if you are considering TSCA. My fridge died on Thursday morning, and I spent my Thursday (while juggling a full-time job and prepping for a weekend get-away) trying to find a replacement. All of the major appliance stores (Home Depot, Lowes, Sears, Sears Outlet, Pacific Sales-- Yes, I went to them ALL!) were backlogged for what I wanted until almost a month out, they cost twice as much (or more), AND they charged for delivery! I needed a fridge NOW so I was totally at their mercy!!! In desperation, as I was keeping my food from spoiling, with 60 lbs of ice packed into the broken fridge, I started looking for used fridges on Craigslist. At this point, ANYTHING would do! . . . But even the second-hand re-sellers had junk and /or serious delivery issues! I actually bought one, that was supposed to be delivered Thursday evening, but it still wasn't in my house at 1pm on Friday, regardless of several promises, both days, that "fridge (was) loaded and they (were) on their way"! I canceled that order, (willing to lose my $50 cash deposit because I could not trust these guys). I aborted my weekend get-away plans, and started afresh in my search! Luckily, I found Team SoCal on Craigslist (of all places!)! Thinking that they were probably, yet another second-hand re-seller, I contacted Guillermo by text on Friday evening, just as they were closing. He got right back to me, and took the time to send me pics of the several fridges that fit my wish list; all priced very well, and none second-hand! Next morning, first thing, my 82 year old dad and I, headed from East Orange to Bellflower, to hopefully, find a replacement fridge. When we walked in, Liliana greeted us right away (unlike our experience at the practically empty Sears outlet, where we waited 20 minutes after we asked for help, and the associate kept "disappearing" instead of showing us available fridges). Liliana showed us the several fridges that fit my requirements, (counter depth, stainless, french door, no ice & water in door, and NO cosmetic defects - which btw, a few of their appliances have, but that is why we get the killer price we want). By the description of my requirements, I'm sure you can imagine how exacting I am about quality and service, which makes this review, all the more viable! We found a fridge that was perfect, except it had one little ding on the freezer that was so minute, we almost didn't notice it-- so Liliana called James in to move three other fridges out of the way to check out the same model that was in the window for display (we didn't even know it was there, and I'm pretty sure Liliana knew that we were desperate enough to take the minor dinged one). I commented to James about being "THAT difficult client", and he sweetly responded that it was really no problem and he was happy to do it for me." My dad is 20 year serving, retired military, and they gave us a discount for his service. Even better, Liliana took the time to chat with him and sincerely listen to his stories about having been on the ship that picked up the lunar landing!!! Her hubby was 5 years in the Marines, and she gave my dad kudos on his 20 years of service. James thanked him again as we were walking out the door. It was SO much more than patriotic, touching, and sweet! Then, BEST PART is that our fridge was delivered to my house (Bellflower to ORANGE, which is about 25 miles away from the store), and installed, in LESS THAN TWO HOURS FROM PURCHASE!!! Guillermo had told me, in text, the night before, that there would be no charge for delivery to Orange. Apparently, this was a mistake, because policy is free within a 10 mile radius, and then $45 outside of that radius. When I showed Liliana the text, she immediately removed the $45 charge from my invoice. The sappy praise doesn't stop there! James and Jeff, the delivery guys, were adorable; SO kind, and "pretty to watch" as they moved my old fridge out and installed the new one, maneuvering some pretty tight and intricate angles in the process. They kept offering to clean up the water that was spilling out of the old fridge, from the 60lbs of melted iced (plus food) I had inside of it. They were SO professional, and went above and beyond, to make sure that I was happy with the installation and knew the features of my new fridge. They made me feel like I was the most important part of their day, even though I am sure that each delivery recipient got the same warm and TOTALLY SINCERE treatment as I did! They felt like family by the time they left! Thanks, Team SoCal, for turning my weekend from crappy to sappy-happy! I will definitely recommend you to ANYONE who needs discount appliances for their home! Couldn't find a place that could do same day delivery (days to weeks to a month) and the prices everywhere else are higher for refrigerators. Sure, dent/scratch, but the big discounts are well worth it. The salesperson (co-owner, owner's wife) was very helpful and patient and walked around and gave me prices on just about everything that I was interested in, and that meant just about everything because I hadn't made up my mind on the model. As promised, they did same day delivery for free, even though I was a bit out of their normal delivery area. The delivery guys/installers were great. Even though it wasn't really their responsibility, they still helped make sure the leaky water faucet for the water line wasn't leaking when they left. They were even kind enough to move my old fridge out to my garage, since that's where it's going to be from now on. And the price was the actual price and not a bait and switch with rebates that might not apply, like some of their competitors. And there was zero upsell. Polite and friendly employees, free same day delivery and a really great price that was even lower than Costco's, and the unit I got, it took a LONG time to find the "dent/scratch" part and even that was nothing. I'M SO GRATEFUL FOR RUDY! This company should be VERY proud to have you on their team. Wow I am blown away. Rudy gave me a call this morning. He is the one who went above and beyond in the delivery and installation of my washer/dryer. He called to first apologize for my experience and then spent time explaining to me exactly what the problem was AND how to fix it for the long term. He answered all my questions, listened to me when I explained what was said to me and I shared with him that if this is how it was handled by the manager in the initial calls, this all could have been avoided. I totally understand that mistakes happen, we're human but it's how we handle it that makes all the difference. Rudy wanted to make things right by getting a longer warranty for me. I told him that's not necessary and I left the call saying I'd be happy to pay any fee necessary as it wasn't anyone's fault but just a fix that can be adjusted. I'm willing to do that BECAUSE of the consideration and compassion Rudy has. You can tell he REALLY cares about his job, the company he represents, and always expresses so much gratitude to the customer saying "thank you for keeping us working" I will continue to shop here as long as they have Rudy on their team. THIS STORE IS GREAT!! Guillermo and The Lady that sell in the store are fantastic. They can easily get what you're looking for and don't try to push you into something else. They know their stuff. They have the best prices around for brand new appliances and the customer service is excellent!!!! I had originally purchased a gas range turned out after I got it home it wasn't what I wanted. They came out to address a concern I had and ended up taking it back to their store. The next day,today, I went back in there and ended up purchasing the stove I really wanted. Hundreds of dollars less than the same model at Lowes. Johnny delivered my new stove today what a great guy with a great attitude who makes it easy to ask questions of and it seems that he loves his job. Then also before he went home for the evening he made a special trip to my home to bring the manual and wok grate which had accidentally been left behind when he delivered my range. Truly a great place to deal with. My next appliance, a dishwasher, will be purchased here. I will HIGHLY recommend this place to everyone. read more

I find it interesting to see so many happy customers for Team SoCal. I thought I was going to be one of them. After a pleasant conversation with Guillermo about appliance models, delivery, and installation charges (all agreeable to me), I sent a list of 4 major appliances my wife and I were ready to purchase, and waited for Guillermo's price quote... and waited... and wait. After reaching him on the phone he apologized to and said he'd get the quote out to me right away, but with the Covid 19 restrictions things had been hectic. I assured him we understood and everything was okay, and while we needed the appliances, (which I estimated would be between $5,500 and $6k) we did not want to rush him or his employees. I thought everything was fine, but Guillermo ghosted me. He would not return multiple phone calls or email requests. My beautiful new fridge.. the freezer wouldn't close. So I called Team So Cal Appliances first thing this morning. I called at 9:45 and by 10:15 Anthony was on his way to our house to fix. Turns out the screw that is in rail came loose and jammed there. It took Anthony about 30 - 45 minutes to get jammed screw out. What a professional.. what a great company, employees are through and don't give up til appliance fixed. I will be buying a new cook top and this where I will go. My first digital appliance Anthony took the time to answer my questions and fixed a couple of things factory forgot to tighten. She could tell I was all over the place. She then took charge she answered all of my questions she gave me some insight and will basically within 15 minutes I was heading to the store to go purchase a new Maytag front loader stainless steel washer and dryer pair! Awesome service from start to finish. From texting all day with Lilia Fir pictures of different washer and dryer combos to delivery. Marco and Polo were phenomenal with delivery and technical set up. I had a problem with the size of the original set that I purchased and Lilia did not miss a beat with exchanging and the delivery. The crew had no problems with exchanging and delivering the same day. Mind you, my delivery was at 4:00 PM. With the exchange and the delivery they were in and out by 715 p.m. same day. I just moved out from my parents house, I moved to my new apartment with a roommate and We needed a Refrigerator.. I purchased a washer dryer combo and the process was fast and easy. The machine was delivered the next day. Yea! Then the dryer wasn't working,,,oh no I thought, Called and the next day Johnny the service tech was here to do the repair, ordered the part and was back the next day to install the part. Thank you Johnny!! I am in a wheelchair but I don't let that get me down, I roll around all over. Until one day.....my wheelchair died. I was stuck with a dead wheelchair that wouldn't go anywhere - just dead. I was about 6 blocks away from home and no one was answering their phone. As the cars whizzed by and I tried to figure out what to do, Johnny stepped into my path. I explained that my wheelchair had died. I explained that I needed to be pushed 6 blocks away, through the apartment complex and then switched from my dead wheelchair to a manual one. Johnny did all of that. He did it all with a smile. I went In just to look around. Came out of there with a purchase of a fridge and a stove. Lilia was very nice and helpful, explained to me about 90 days free financing, plus all the staff was super friendly. When they came to deliver the same day yes the same day they gave me a time frame and they arrived in that window time. Now the delivery guys Marcos and Jeffrey were absolutely nice, talkative, friendly, hard working and they explained to us regarding the filters in the fridge and how often to change it and a few other things.
