Unprofessional experience. After I was fully refunded, he left a note saying "Stop crying." I requested a quote for a broken driver window and he asked for a $100 deposit so he could order an OEM part. I paid $100 via Venmo (with payment protection). He then told me the part was out of stock and said due to Venmo's fee, he would only refund $97. He refunded $97 first, and only after I opened a dispute did he send the remaining amount. When he finally sent that remaining amount, he added "Stop crying." I was hesitant to leave a bad review for a small business, but that crossed the line. Sharing in case it helps others. read more

My windshield got chipped with a pebble kicked up from another truck on the road a couple months back. A closer look, it didn't look like much--it was under the wipers, not in my field of vision and did not spider out, so I just left it. Fast forward to 3 weeks ago. I noticed a straight line crack in my windshield on the passenger side. While the crack didn't spider out, for safety, I decided it was time to replace it. After getting a couple of quotes, I ended up going to US Auto Glass Center. Ephram did a great job. He was honest and told me we could get an aftermarket replacement or get one from the dealer (at almost double the cost--and the difference is having the car manufacturer name on the window). I scheduled an appointment in for the morning and to my surprise, it was done in about 90 minutes. Ephram took great care with the replacement and did a fantastic job. Beware of this place! Took my mom's Lexus to Ephram to replace a crack windshield. My insurance doesn't cover OEM glass so I went with after market. I gave Ephram the year and model he said to bring it in and he'll replace with OEE (original equivalent) quality aftermarket brand which I had to pay extra for. After he dropped off the car with the windshield replaced, my mom took the car for a drive and the rear view mirror fell off. I called up Ephram to come out and fix the fallen rear view mirror. He came out but was unable to secure the rear view mirror on the car bracket. Told my family that he has to order new bearing and install it another day. We did not hear back for days and reached out to get our money refund for the labor for job incomplete. He put the blame on my mother for breaking the rear view mirror and finally confessed that the windshield he ordered was not compatible with rear view mirror which he did not do his research until after the fact. I was never told whatsoever the issue using a non OEM windshield by Ephram. Yet he refused to accept any responsibility to fix the problem. He never fix the rear view mirror he left it wobbly and unsecured attach to the windshield like how it's the first time he dropped of the car which endanger lives. I'm writing this review hoping to avoid another victim. Avoid this place at all cost! read more

Ephram's quote was roughly half what the big shops (e.g., Safelite) wanted to replace my windshield. The replacement looked identical to the original including tint and he worked quickly. There was "collateral damage", but I could see the OEM trim was crumbling from UV. He was up-front about what happened and pointed me in the right direction to get that fixed for +$35. read more

Ephram was responsive and able to fit me in the same day I contacted him for a chip repair. We were driving on the freeway, heard a rock hit the windshield, and lo and behold a new chip appeared... I called around and got quotes from several shops in the area. Ephram's pricing was by far the most competitive. Pretty much everyone I called said it wouldn't be a cosmetic repair (e.g. we'd still be able to see bits of the chip) but the primary intent was to prevent it from spreading into a full sized crack that would require a full windshield replacement. Since it was right at the driver's side (eye level) I figured I should get ahead of it and get it filled, even if it wouldn't make the entire chip disappear. I showed up at the business and he helped guide me into the garage (phew) and explained everything that he was doing. I also appreciate that he was super respectful of COVID precautions and ensured I was comfortable/safely distanced during the exchange. I was in and out in approximately 30 minutes. He even helped me back out of the garage and hold traffic for me as I backed out onto the busy road! I think that's amazing service and a testament to the care he has for his customers. I google autoglass service in my area. I found this great location in Belmont. The owner Ephram at this location was so responsible and very well organized. I borrow a car for a test drive from my daughter's friend. I was driving in the freeway when a rock chip the windshield . I called to make an appointment. He suggested to bring over to take a look before he can tell me how long it will take. I live in San Carlos 7 minutes away. I took the car and Ephram was just a very kind man and told me he can fix it the next day. The chip was fixed and I was able to wait. I highly recommend this place. Ok, All the good things about Ephram are true! I feel really good about how quickly I made the decision to go to him for replacing my windshield. This was the 3rd time since I have owned my car that I needed to replace glass on my car. Each time I have gone to someone else because I was unhappy for one reason or another with their customer service or lack of attention to detail on the job. Not with Ephram! I was driving by an accident on the 101 last week (3 days before Christmas) and a part flew up off the road and crashed into the side of my windshield. At first the crack went only 4-5 inches and at this point (after already buying 2 other windshields, and a back window) I was ready to let this one go for awhile. But by morning the small crack had grown into more than a foot across the center of the windshield. This is when I looked to Yelp for my next Glass Company I coud try. Ephram told me he would order the glass immediately and I could come in the next day at my convenience for him to replace. EXCELLENT! Christmas Eve Eve I got off a little early and I headed right over to his shop in Belmont! It was easy to find and I was greeted right as I walked in the door by his sweet children who were enjoying their holiday break with Dad. ;) Ephram came right out and introduced himself to me.
