Went here last week due to Yelp reviews. This place doesn't look like much from the street but boy do they make a really good burger. Patties made by hand, not too thin and not too thick with the paper half collar holding it all together - old fashioned style. The meat had great flavor, no doctoring needed. Not sure if the fries had just come out of the fryer but they were piping hot and also really good. They looked like they were fresh cut, nice and crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside. I was always curious about this little spot nestled in the same shopping center as Nam Dae Mun market, and after a long day at the tax office, I decided to give it a shot. This would be my first meal of the day at about 1:30PM, so needless to say: I was starving with anticipation. First impressions: Empty. Most folks were calling in to pick up orders. This is fine, but I wasn't there for the vibe, I was there for the food. "Yoo hooo", I called as no one was at the POS to greet me when I walked in or take my order. She came rather quickly though and took my order. Since this was my first time here, I went for the lemon-pepper wings, a side of fries and a water. Dingy. I was hard-pressed to find a clean table. Mind you, the restaurant is empty. Once I seated myself, I took a closer look at my surroundings and this place needs a COMPLETE and DEEP clean quick-fast-and-in-a-hurry. The staff should have cleaning logs, duties or something because this restaurant is not being kept up in this respect and there doesn't seem to be a routine in place. Food on the floor underneath the tables, food stains on the tables, and crumbs in the chairs, dust in the windows, spill over on the condiment nozzles (this is my pet peeve, I don't want to see dried ketchup and mustard on the nozzles! Wipe them down so the flies won't have a field day.) You can't wait until the end of the day to do this kind of stuff, just grab a broom and give the table a wipe down as soon as that customer is done eating. I shouldn't have to look so hard to find a clean corner to sit in. My food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The fries were crinkle-cut with seasalt. I peppered them down, a bit over fried (hard) for my liking, but not terrible. The wings were crispy just like I like them and hit the spot. Note, they aren't the bigger sized ones- a bit small comparatively. They were a tab bit over salted for me, but otherwise, crispy and pretty good. If I could give less than 1 star I would. I went on a Tuesday at 5:00. Not many ppl in the place, I ordered a chicken philly and sweet potato fries after 20 mins. They gave me a philly cheessteak(beef) and cold fries. I took it back and told them I ordered chicken philly, they proceeded to fix it bring it to my table with raw veggies and no cheese. I love chicken wings! These were pretty good! Wings are definitely on the smaller side so order a few more than you normally would. Wings were crunchy and the hot sauce was a spicy traditional buffalo style sauce. Homemade blue cheese sauce was a little watery. My bf and his brother ordered double stacks which they enjoyed! The veggies were super fresh, patties handmade, burger was flavorful. The fries and sweet potato fries were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Service sucks here and don't even waste your time calling in your order. It will not be ready when you get there. Order from here twice and each time my food has been cold. The cashier which claims to be the manager has the worst attitude I have ever seen. After discovering that my food was cold I called and the lady had an attitude was told me I was late getting my food. However, I waited in line 5 mins and then another 20 mins after paying for my food. After reading on the bug problem and horrible customer service, I know I am not the only person that has ran into this problem. This location is one of two in the Smyrna / Vinings area. Not sure if there are other locations around town or not. I usually go to the location on the Corner of South Cobb Drive and the East / West / Cobb Connector. This location is near my therapist's office and I often ask my therapist if he has tried the hamburgers here (to date he has not [his loss {jackass!!}]). The hamburgers here are phenomenal. Seriously. These guys give Fatburger and Five guys a bonafide run for their money. They are every bit as good as some of those great burger chains out west like Whattaburger,Carl's Jr. and others. I would say the hamburgers are better than Back Yard Burgers and, coming from me, that is a significant statement since I absolutely love BYB. They have a few other menu items like quesadillas, grilled chicken salads (sandwiches), and hot wings. Limited menu;however, they keep it simple and excellent (the way I prefer a menu to be). Fries are very good also; not exactly "true" Belgian fries but perhaps Belgian in style / taste/ texture. Plenty of off-the-beaten path choices of the usual condiments and toppings are available too - behind the counter as well as over it. Any non-asian restaurant that has Sriracha sauce as part of its condiment array (red rooster chili garlic) gets my mark of excellence endorsement, and, as such, this place gets it. read more

These guys never disappoint. They have never gotten any of my orders wrong. I've tried other items on their menu and now is tough when I order because everything is so great. I've tried their BLT's and holy cow! Butter toast, crisp bacon, lettuce and mayo. Simple and so delicious! Their burgers are good. Way better than Micadoodle! Alright. I'll admit it. I saw this dump sitting next to the cobb international farmers market and thought there is no way I'm eating there. That's until I noticed how many people were lined up to grab a bite to eat - which means you have no choice but to try it. I walked in and ordered a turkey burger and sweet potato fries and realized I had found a little gem. Sometimes you just find a little hole in the wall place that isn't much to look at, the location isn't ideal, and you might question the health score - then you realize you are an idiot. I love burgers so when my coworkers suggested this place for lunch, I was all for it. To begin, I almost drove past this place because it is not very clear from the road that there is a burger place next to the Farmers Market which takes up the majority of the strip mall. The menu is clear and looked good, but the space itself was not glamorous by any means - which is fine, this is a burger place. Our burgers, while tasty, were on the small side and the crinkle fries were not the best I've ever had. Would have enjoyed more seasoning on them. The price is a bit more for a burger you'll pay that you can make and get a very good angus patty from Costco. It is dry, the cheese is awful, the fries is okay but its not awe inspiring. Located in a nondescript strip mall, the US Cafe brings the most delicious burgers, fries, wings, onion rings, and whatever else you are hungry for. No, this is not one of those new trendy burger joints popping up all over Atlanta. But this is a place where the burgers are hand made, the lettuce is crisp and fresh, the tomatoes are thick and ripe, and the fries are tasty. They also offer delicious turkey burgers and many other options that are made with quality ingredients and at a reasonable price. My recommendation though is the burger with fries or onion rings. I get cheddar cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mustard every time and I am never disappointed. However, in the rare instance that something is incorrect with my order, Nicole is there to fix it in a hurry with a smile on her face. This is just a small place in a strip mall. When you walk in it has a neat old time diner feel to it. I ordered a hamburger and vidalia onion rings. The burger was fresh and perfectly prepared. The onion rings were crunchy outside and tender inside. I definitely recommend this place. read more

Hi. I had not had a good meal all day. I wanted s burger for me and my girl (dog). Ordered on the phone but was at the location 5 minutes later. I waited. Only 1 other customer in the store, he was talking to the cashier. She and I spoke nicely. Then I waited. They knew each other or so it seemed. Then out is the blue, the guy panhandled me. Said he was just back from Iraq and had 4 kids. Wanted money. Makes me really mad. I said sorry no, of course. He then asked for a phone and disappeared into the men's.
