I had a phenomenal experience at Christy's Donuts (Hacienda Heights). I ordered the Glazed Donut ($1.85). It's so fluffy, clean, and flavorful. YUM!! This donut tastes fresh and well-prepared. (Important: There's a 50 cent added fee for Card Payments if customers purchase below $10. When buying above $10, there's no extra card fee.) I arrived at Christy's Donuts (Hacienda Heights) on a Tuesday (around 7:22AM). Parking is easy. The lot is fairly big. I quickly found parking. Staff is very friendly and hardworking. Staff spoke with a bright smile and light voice. Staff is very attentive and diligent. Christy's Donuts is a great donut shop located at the front corner of Hacienda Village small plaza. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The shop was very clean and organized.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I got apple fritters, chocolate old fashioned, glazed, chocolate with custard filling, plain chocolate, raspberry jam filled glazed donut, chocolate with nuts, and chocolate bar. Lovely mom and pop donut shop with extremely nice Asian family greeting you always. They have the typical run-of-the-mill donuts, but they also have special donuts like fruity pebbles and cronuts. Everytime my daughter and I go in for a box of donuts they throw in a couple extra to try which is very nice of them. My favorite donut is the cruller and theirs is always soooo good and moist. I've never tried a cronut so I decided to try it on one of my visits. It wasn't my style personally, but thats just me. It's basically a doughnut with layers like a croissant. Ordering can be chaotic when two customers are making selections at the same time, since the employees also have to answer back. But everyone is super nice. It was about $13 after tax for 6 donuts. - Blueberry ($1.55). This donut was light on the dried blueberries, but the texture was divine: thick crispy crust outside, tender fine cake crumb inside, hint of blueberry, hint of glaze. - Croissant Donut. Flaky with somewhat gummy layers, but in a good way? I like the dual textures of this glazed donut. - Apple Fritter ($2.50). The sweetest of the bunch with a slight burnt flavor. I'm not sure if that was intentional, but all of the fritters were cooked very dark. The diced apple filling was scant, but the glazed fritter had a crispy thick crust. - Bear Claw ($2.50 - Cinnamon). Since we had the apple fritter, I ordered the cinnamon filled bear claw. The lightly glazed dough was soft, yeasty, and slightly sweet. I didn't expect the cinnamon paste to be on the bitter side, but I quite liked the contrast. - Plain Buttermilk Cake Donut ($1.55). I took a bite and my eyebrows raised off of my forehead. Were plain donuts always this flavorful? When it came to the coffee box $38.00 dollars, then he is being selective on how many sugars, and cups. Finally I get to my job site to meet my techs, and come to find out no cream. Worst experience ever, do buy here its too expensive totally took advantage of the coffee price, all other donut shops plus Krispy Kreme are around $20.00 dollars with plenty of cups, sugars and cream. Whenever I crave a ham and cheese croissant I always come here. They are VERY generous when making the croissants. It's ALWAYS big and full of melted cheese and a perfectly slice piece of ham in the middle. I also get some donuts because they are also very good. They are surprisingly never busy when I arrive which I don't understand because there food is always good. I've never had a bad experience the staff is always attentive and nice.
