I've gone to the Chef's store off Tacoma Mall Blvd for years and was so stoked to see there was a newly opened store closer to my new home. They're right next to the Ace Hardware off 112th and Pacific. I went last weekend and loved that they chose a location with a big parking lot -the parking at the other location is terrible. Same great prices and products. I shop around -Costco, Winco, Fred Meyer, Safeway, farmers markets and butcher shops - to get whatever I need at the best price. There are things here that you can't get anywhere else. Competitive prices on certain products and a little lower or higher on others. You just have to do your due diligence. Shop around! Plan your trips! Again, my first time at this location. The store was clean and the customer service was great. My cashier was a total sweetheart. I'm super excited about this new location and will continue to go back until we move out of the area. read more

So I needed to go to cash and carry today, I usually go to the one on Tacoma Mall Boulevard. But I hesitated because the last several times I noticed the atmosphere was not so great. All the employees acted as though they had some other place they would rather be. Then I read some reviews about that particular store, most of them were pretty bad. One individual wrote that he really liked the one on 112th in Parkland, that it's a happier place. Quite frankly, I didn't even know that there was a store there. So I went this morning and found that this person was correct, it was clean, everybody was friendly, happy, and more than willing to be helpful to me. So I'm giving you the same advice, for those of you who like to shop at Cash &Carry, even if it's a little out of your way you should try the store on 112th and Pacific Avenue, it will be worth your time. read more

Cash and Carry does carry a lot of bulk items, but you'd be surprised to know they do sell some things in smaller quantities. They seem to carry recognizable brands, and some surprising specialty items like white coffee and blazin bagels in the frozen section. Their prices are for the most part a deal, and do sometimes vary from store to store. Like any other discount/grocery/restaurant supply store, not all prices are a bargain... so use your best judgement. read more

I always come here for the bulk French fries. They taste exactly like fast food. I also always buy cheese in bulk because I love cheese. I love the huge assortment of flavored syrups. I always pick up a bottle on the way out. The staff is nice and efficient. read more

I highly recommend shopping here for larger quantity items. The pricing here is good. You will find the store well laid out, stocked well and easy to find what you are after. People forget about Cash and Carry and from what I remember it use to only be available to small businesses and such or maybe that is the idea it portrays and why not many folks know about this gem??? Ok for me so I can benefit from it more and with less crowd and such:) If you love Costco then you will definately LOVE Cash Carry.. same concept, bulk items, hit and miss with the selection of things but always something will catch you eye and be priced well and you will just have to get it!! My brother recommended this place as _the_ location to buy flavour syrups for coffee and Italian sodas. Since the DaVinci and Torani flavours run about $20 a bottle here in Vancouver, BC, finding them for $4 a bottle is a real steal. Cash and Carry stocks pretty much anything you would need to supply a restaurant, from plates to take out boxes, and from beer nuts to cheesecakes. Their website keeps live inventory of each individual store. To see the inventory, you have to register, but it's free and I haven't gotten any additional spam, just their weekly flyers. I didn't buy too much from them. Much of their packaging is too big for a small family, whereas Costco has more appropriate sizing. We did some price comparisons for butter and cheese and found Costco was more economical. On the other hand, Cash and Carry does stock things that Costco doesn't, so it can be a good alternative. We bought a bunch of flavour syrups, Altoids, garbanzo beans, and some spices. The staff were super friendly, always greeting as they encountered us and offered assistance. The cashier was a great help in choosing an appropriate box for all of our purchases. I would gladly shop here again. I wish I was throwing a party when I visit Puyallup just so I could buy and try so much more of what they offer from here. read more

I am a huge fan of this specific location. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and of good cheer. I am always able to find what is on the weekly hot sheet and have not yet once been disappointed with any of the fresh fruit or veggies I've brought home. Beats, hands down, Costco prices for your garden variety salad makings including the cruciferous mix that I love. I home make some of my dogs food too and am able to purchase 50 lbs of sweet potatoes for $20 and 10 lb chubs of 80/20 hamburger for $19.95 when on sale. Last month I bought 40 lbs of boneless, skinless chicken thighs for $40.00. HOOK ME UP! read more

I shop here for my family. Closer then Costco, never stand in line for half an hour, and don't have to walk a mile to park. Great prices on bulk meat and frozen foods, but also some excellent prices on single item, regularly sized goods like evaporated milk and ketchup. Coffee pod prices are the best! Their First Street brand bacon is addictive. read more

Great place for goods No membership needed and you can buy in bulk! I made peach freezer jam and found EVERYTHING I needed here. Easy in and easy out. The items they have are well stocked, Fresh produce, great meat selection, Cheese and freezer items. They have paper products, restaurant quality products and everything is easy to get to. They offer carts outside of the store so grab one on the way in! Candy, flavors for your coffee stands, and to go containers for food! The only downfall, the entire time I was in the store wandering around I didn't see a single employee walking around asking if anyone needed help. I wandered around looking for mason jars and finally found them on a back wall, high up on a rack and needed a taller man (customer) to help me get them down. It would have been a nice affect had an employee checked in on me...An employee did offer to help me get my giant bag of sugar in to my car though....Win some and lose some. overall a great experience! read more

My family and I shop at this store over Costco. Typically we always find better prices and great costumer service from their employees. Today unfortunately out of all days one of the employees just made our experience unpleasant with his attitude towards us. (Maybe it's due to working on the holiday, not sure) Other than that, I would totally recommend this store to anyone. read more
