I had my eye on this place for a while before the grand opening, excited about the location. Since the opening I have been here a few times and I truly having nothing but good things to say. The establishment is clean, bright and comfortable. The technicians are very nice and talkative, which is really nice. I enjoy a two way conversation. My nails have turned out awesome, they hold up, and I can go a good 2 weeks without coming back for a fill/no chip. They work well with the designs you request. I mean, what fun is it to have all the same color nails? ;) My only thing that is keeping me from a 5 star is how busy this place is during the evening and there are only 3 technicians that really do nails. Even if you have an appointment, your waiting that time of night. And I'm not talking s 10 minute wait. There are 4 waiting chairs and 6 of us were standing there so already feeling crowded. People just keep coming in and course they are told there is a wait but they will get to them. I know you don't want to turn anyone away, but when someone walks in an hour before closing and you have 8 people in front of them and only 3 technicians looking frazzled you just need to say, "we will not be able to get to you tonight, how about I scheduled you for tomorrow". The business is very new they will eventually get a handle on time management and bring in additional technicians. I will continue to go here, I really like this place. My suggestion is to go before 3pm - if you have to go later make sure you have an appointment. read more

Please save your time, money, and nails from a terrible experience. I went here with my sister for the first (AND LAST) time today. We had a 12:00pm appointment for basic manicures and pedicures. After sitting in the pedicure chairs with our feet soaking in water for 40 minutes, I finally spoke up and asked if anyone was going to help us. We should have walked out but, unfortunately, we stayed. The two men that came to do our pedicures were rude and seemed incredibly bothered to be working in general. Their horrible attitude and half-assed work continued throughout the appointment and really was made clear when my sister had the worst manicure of her life. To be honest, her nails looked better BEFORE she had the 'manicure'. They didn't cut back cuticles, clean under or around the nails, and on top of it all, they sloshed the nail polish all over our fingers. I am embarrassed to say I even gave this place a chance. read more

Depends who you get. I never get my nails done, but it was a girls day. Even though our group had a reservation I was left to wait. That was fine and I was patient. However instead of taking her time with me to make up for that, she rushed. She did the paraffin wax after the nail painting, then told me I could just put my socks and shoes on right after and it'd be fine, since all my friends were done and waiting on me by that point. She also tricked me into spending more money even though I asked for regular polish instead of no-chip. I spent $15 extra for something I didn't want. When I got home my pinky nail was polish free, some spots were chipped, and others just weren't painted on the full nail! I'm never coming back. Some of my friends had a better experience, and some told me later that their nails weren't totally covered in polish either. A couple of my group tried to convince me to go back with them and get my nails redone and confront them about the experience. I don't live in the area though and didn't want to waste the gas money. My advice: - state clearly what you want and even if they say they are going to pick the best color for what you are wanting, just reiterate what you first told them (if on a budget) - don't let them do the paraffin wax AFTER the polish - examine the job afterward, before paying read more

I used to love this place, friendly people, clean environment, great work.. I'm not sure what happened .. I went back once after 2 weeks to get a fill in the male who was going to do my nails was appalled by how my nails looked asked where I got them done, I told him at this location, he then asked by who, so I pointed the lady out.. she got super rude and I'm guessing defensive. I never complained even though I really didn't like how they turned out when she did them. After he finished my nails he upcharged me by 20$.. I just paid and went on about my time. I got back 4 months later after having a baby and I get the same lady that messed them up before, okay I'll give her another chance it's been a while I thought. She was getting frustrated I didn't pick a color fast enough so hovered over me, was pretty aggressive with pulling my arm forward through the plastic guard. Went really slow doing my nails which was a full set . They are not even or shapped the way I had asked for. The acrylic is sharp by my cuticle and after 4 days the nails are ready popping off my nails. I'm so upset I liked this place a lot but will be going somewhere else from now on. read more

My first and last time at this shop. I'm 70 and been having my nails done for many years. My reg shop closed for a month so I tried US Nails for a Pedi, fill in and cut down. The worse I've ever gotten anywhere. The young man that did my hands was VERY rough and unfriendly as he continued to say relax ma'am. How can you relax with such rough treatment??? He started applying polish over pieces of my cuticle and nail that was hanging off when I showed him, it seemed to make him mad and shoved the little dryers at me and pointed for me to put them in. I had to come home and file all the edges as they were left rough and raggedy. Pedicure wasn't good but the girl didn't do half of what my reg shop does. The AWFUL part is they charged twice as much as my reg shop or other shops I've visited. NEVER AGAIN, LESSON LEARNED read more

Don't waste your money here. Went to US Nails on June 1, 2018 and got a standard pedicure. On June 3, 2018 the polish on my fourth toe completely peeled off. I went back in to have them re-polish the toe since it had only been two days, hoping that it was a freak accident. But no, here we are on June 8th, only a week later, and the polish on my pink toe has also completely PEELED OFF. Seriously disappointed, the paint isn't chipping, it's completely removing itself. Overall, if you want an overpriced sloppily done pedicure that only lasts two days, this is the place for you. read more

They were not very busy. 6 techs and there were no waits at the door. I've been getting my nails done for over ten years. I have been to many salons across highland, munster and Schererville. My regular salon is closed on Sunday. So I chose here. A place I've been twice before. I've never been burned with a dremel tool. I was burned 4 times during my visit today. Two burns bled. The man who initially helped me over filed my tips on the sides so the shape was crooked and my real nails(without acrylic over them) was exposed by the bed. He also added glue to my underneath between the separation of my real nail and the old tip. there was glue everywhere after That. He was so Careless. The edges were jagged and the initial polish he used caused bumps and was not smooth or consistent. When I mentioned it he said "oh it's just the polish" and continued two more coats. When he finished the third coat and the color was not smooth I informed him that it isn't supposed to look like that so he called another tech over to help me and he took another person. The 2nd tech was a woman who is regularly there. And has helped me before. She was kind at first but she burned me twice ON THE ALREADY BLEEDING OPEN BURNS and started rushing after I reacted to the second one with an ouch. She took off the gel polish the previous tech put on but did not remove it around the edges or cuticles thinking painting over it would not show through. That proved to NOT be true and the second color I picked out, you could still see the first one underneath it. She also over polished everywhere and the polish was stuck all over my fingers and under my tips past the nails. I asked her to clean it up and she did a very bad job and also rushed through that. I paid my full cost and still tipped although neither of them deserved it for how they rushed me and burned me. They were rude when I mentioned my concerns and I will never return or recommend them to my friends or family. They were not busy at all to be rushing through their work. So I wanted to try this place twice before I reviewed it. Since moving from Chicago I haven't found a nail place I love. I settled on Diamond Nails and really like the staff but it is bananas in there and I hate how they cut cuticles, felt like half my finger was gone afterwards. But this placed opened and is nice and close to my house and is super clean, brand new, relaxing, etc. They seem to adhere to all sanitary and cleanliness rules, which is great. Everyone is very nice and friendly and it is much more relaxing. I like the pedicure chair setup bc you can actually see each other and talk if you go with friends. The first time I went I got dip' nails (which I had never even heard of). It's pretty cool and lasted 3 weeks! I had them taken off and it was really gentle, just soaking no drills and my nails seemed really healthy after. This time I got a regular mani and pedi and it was great! This will be my new go to spot! read more

So I went to US Nails 4 days ago. I asked for coffin shape & they started out shaped pretty well. But as he added the acrylic & the top coats, they started to lose more and more of the shape. Clearly they are damn near round He then applied the THICKEST top coat I've ever seen. It was thick & chunky & left those unflattering brush strokes in my nails! My chrome powder is already chipping as well. Unfortunately, I couldn't stick around have him correct these issues as I had to go pick my son up from school. But i was EXTREMELY disappointed with the service especially because I paid $60 for it!! I will not return here. And based off the other reviews, you shouldn't give them your money either. read more

I love Philip !!!! After Randy left I was skeptical about trying someone else. Philip did my nails. And he's the best !!

I stopped in to get a pedicure and a polish change and I had the worst experience with the woman whom did my nails. My pedicure was relaxing and the lady was very polite and did such a great job on my feet. The nightmare began when I was getting my nails done. There was a black string of hair on my nail and I asked very politely for the lady to fix it and she became VERY defensive! She blamed me for the hair being in my nail and when I explained to her that my hair was blonde instead of black, she began to SHOUT at me! I asked her to take all of the polish off of my hands and she told me no, to just pay and leave while my nails were halfway polished. I asked to speak to a manager and screamed " I AM THE MANAGER " ! There was a gentleman whom came from the back and asked what was going on and as I tried explaining to him the problem, she was still screaming over me and at that point I just ignored her and she called me a " bad customer ". I didn't catch the gentleman's name who helped me but he apologized and told me that my nail was a very easy fix and he doesn't understand why we was so unprofessional about the matter. I have been going here for years and the service is really slipping. Julie does a good job but for some reason refuse to wear a mask during servicing. Barbara is very detailed oriented, but is very condescending and pushy. This place was HORRIBLE. I work across the street and wanted to get my nails done, but didn't want to drive all the way to my normal salon. I decided to try them out and I instantly regretted it. I walked in and signed in and picked my color. Not one person greeted me. Finally, Kevin came out of the back and looked at me and asked what I wanted. He was rude and demanding. As he was doing each step of the process, he would throw my hands down on the table. I told him at the beginning that I needed my nails short for work. We got to a certain point and he still hasn't cut them, so I spoke up and asked him to file them and do the shape I wanted. His simple reply was "It's too late." I was infuriated. I would have walked out, but I needed the color on my nails. After the color was on my nails, i flipped my hand over and noticed that the nail polish was ALL OVER MY HAND! There was glue everywhere and sharp edges on my nails where he didn't file. I'm now at home trying to file my nails down by hand to the length and shape that I originally wanted. This was the first and last time I go into this nail shop. First, I asked for a NO CHIP mani and pedi. I mail tech gave me regular polish. I didn't say anything because I was pressed for time. The polish is bubbling up on my toes. I got the no chip mani, but boy of boy what a F*%# job she did!!! My nails are shaped crooked, I have polish around the nails, nails are jagged, and the cuticles look like they haven't been touch. I'm literally picking dead skin off my nails now. I had to reshape these once cute shaped nails. How is it that they are still in business with so many complaints and about the same thing? Jagged edges, polish on your hands, polish all over your toes, and so on. NOT ACCEPTABLE!!! Never again!!! I wasted $70 for this SHIT!!! So disappointed!!!! read more

Went there at 4:30pm on a Friday, I had an appointment so I was sat right away. The lady who took care of me was friendly, but I'm not sure she knew what she was doing. She started out by trying to get the bag to fit properly in the tub for the pedis. When it wouldn't fit, she threw it away and said "someone ordered the wrong size. a thousand of them." Super grossed out now, but okay. Then she proceed to cut my toe nails with a cuticle cutter. I had to ask her if she was going to file my nails since they were super sharp. She didn't seem to like that I had to ask that. Honestly, the only positive thing about the whole pedicure was the chair. Gave a great massage. Now being as I was pressed for time seeing how my pedicure took an hour, I decided to get the no chip mani. While I was waiting for the mani to start it got BUSY. A girl and her mom came in to complain about her daughters nails that just got done; the polish was coming off. I heard the lady say to the young girl it was basically her fault. I felt bad for the young girl. My no chip manicure was done by some contraption that looked like it came from the dollar store. The ones where you buy yourself look WAYY more professional. Anyways, the lady asked me 3 times if I was sure I wanted it because if I didn't like it, she couldn't fix it. Again, she didn't use a nail clipper to cut my nails. She told me she couldn't do square file, she had to do round, for whatever reason. She didn't cut my cuticles and she didn't get the polish all the way to the end of my nails. I had to ask her since it looked like I had 2 weeks of nail growth. 3 paint layers later, the polish is all weird looking and on some nails my cuticle is painted. She never removed any excess polish from my nails. She didn't even rub lotion on my hands, not exactly sure why this whole process took another hour. $65 and 2 hours later I am out of there. Not happy at all. Oh, by Sunday my nails were chipped. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. read more

The price was good due to the promotion and the shop was clean however the service I received was not great. My nails are already chipping and I was just there 2 days ago. The paint job was sloppy and so was the shaping. The nail tech even cut me and didn't put anything on it at all. I defiantly won't be returning. i came here for a pedicure today. she finished painting all of my toes within 2 minutes. once she was done painting my toes the woman had me move to a different seat to put a fan on them. in the process of moving my big toe got messed up. so she proceeds to put on another 3 coats of polish. at this point there's like 7 coats of polish on my big toe. after that she finally decides to take it all off and start over. she does all of this on the floor btw. i tip her $5. i get home and take a closer look at my toes and this is what i see. never coming here again read more

I had a 5p appt today after waiting a hour the 6p appt walks in and get right in the chair because she was a regular customer. I've been here a couple times but that shouldn't matter. I really didn't like the service then so I thought I would give them another chance but NEVER AGAIN! When it comes to nails, I am hesitant to try new places but I am glad I stopped in here. This is the first place I have gone in this area that offers the Dip Manicure which is supposed to be far less damaging to the nails than the No Chip which I have always had in the past. This place is smaller than some of the big nail shops on 41 but I feel is worth the wait for quality service in a clean, professional environment. They recommended the dip to me when I mentioned how I liked the staying power of the no chip but hated what it did to my nails. This new method promises the durability of the gel without the damage so I am looking forward to seeing if it holds true. I was also impressed by the complimentary touch up to my pedicure when I mentioned that I would like a little more coverage on one nail. They encouraged me to come back if there are any issues and their prices are competitive with the big shops. I will be returning! read more

Went here this last weekend. Saturday morning I'd expect them to be busy, but on top of being busy, they are highly understaffed. On a busy Saturday there only seemed to be about 5 employees. I waited over 45 minutes to get my toes done and spent almost 2 hours there to complete everything. I usually end up getting no chip on my toes because it lasts longer, so that's what I did this time as well. The gentleman that did my toes began taking my precious no chip polish off with a cuticle pusher which is far more time consuming than to just file and drill off the old no chip. He did a sloppy job, having painted the polish on my actual skin (he did clean it off before I left), toenails being not filed properly, and too many layers of polish for my liking. Would I go back? Most likely not, maybe just for the candy they have at the front desk. The only good thing about this trip here was the company that I went with and the receipt that gets printed when I'm finished. read more

New place that was referred by my eyebrow lady, very clean, very nice BUT I had a no chip polish on, the guy let my nails soak for abbot 5 mins scraped off the polish then FILED the rest of the polish off, the paint job want clean, I actually had to go home and file the sides of my nails, now I see my middle finger nail bend and needs to be cut down.
