The Window Closed sign comes and goes like the tides. (Only more frequently, as the tides are predictable and relatively far apart. Plus, they publish them in the newspaper!) That said, since the grumpy and slow male postal clerk seems to have moved on, the women working the counter are hella better. Everyone seems to know what they're doing, and they've got the full array of stamps, including the July 2006 Super Hero series. Go just for that. Hopefully, you can mail what you need to send where you work!

I can't imagine that's acceptable on any level to leave your USPS issued uniform bag on a park bench and walk away, I must be out of my mind for thinking this is normal right? Since it wasn't my responsibility to watch her bag, I left it on the bench and continued my walk up the hill. I should've taken a picture of her but I didn't, but I can describe her. She seemed to be a part time temporary employee as she didn't have an official uniform on, but she was definitely delivering the mail.

While getting the tape she told me "no not that one" in an aggressive tone and laughed at me with other customers and while giving me back my change she just waved at my face and said "HERE HERE " and she saw that I was doing something. I felt humiliated and embarrassed. She didn't treat the other customers like that maybe because I'm young and thought I was dumb and wasn't paying attention to what I was doing but I was. All I wanted to do is mail a package not get made fun of. After I left I was sad and started crying. No one should have to experience this after only wanting to mail a package. I didn't hear anything else about it but everytime I've gone to check my PO Box the place is closed. Is this post office still functioning or not? I need to keep this PO open even though I no longer live in the area because its registered to a corporation. I only check it when I know I'm receiving correspondence from seasonal activity. My only complaint is that I've asked not to put grocery flyers or other people's mail in my box numerous times but I still get junk mail or mail that clearly doesn't belong to me.

I assumed (wrongly, clearly) they would be able to photocopy my ID there for my application. So when I didn't have what I needed and asked to be given 5 minutes to run to the library to make a photo copy, or to switch appointment times with the next person who was ALREADY THERE. I was told with a terrible attitude and eyes rolling by the teller that I would need to reschedule my appointment completely... No help offered, no flexibility, nothing.
