1/26/25 Dropping off snail mail to friends
    Jennifer W.

1/26/25 Dropping off snail mail for my pen pals, you heard that right, PEN PALS, who still does this? Even my mom was laughing at me when I was affixing the stamps on them. Believe it or not this took some time, making them (cards & envelopes) & handwriting #worthwhile. This USPS in Bellflower, Ca is one of the few locations that I prefer & has yet to disappoint me. In the past few months, when i sent my letters/cards from the Inland Empire, my intended addressees informed me they did NOT receive them. One of them was just a few blocks over from our home, a birthday card! The staff here are friendly & efficient. The business is well kept, clean, organized. Service is fairly prompt, wait times are reasonable. The parking lot is sizable. You may send packages across the pond or across the ocean/globe, FedEx, Amazon, send certified mail, not a 100% certain if passports are managed here though, etc Of course they also have P. O. boxes. What I like about this location compared to Lakewood is that the drop off boxes are not locked-- so I am able to drop off simple mail at odd or non-business hours. It is important to those who are only free to conduct business after the USPS is closed. (Service Requested? Didn't I cover this already?) is Yelp having a seizure or stroke?)

Is this a passport-only post office or something? It seems like it. I came here to mail a package. Most people were standing in some weird line that was between actual line desk and the cashier windows. Well, those were passport customers. Meanwhile the actual line was just standing in regular line for almost 10 minutes until one of the cashiers decided to pull a customer from regular line. The cashier that helped me was cool. But it didn't have to take almost 10 minutes for anyone from the regular line to be called.

My next day delivery cost me $38. It hasn't arrived... you know who is held responsible for this? Me. The person who pays to ships this. Not the employees.

Can't use the 4 of my card so no worries

This location has always been decent besides the little mishaps with service and the general public needing to mind their business otherwise I've met some really nice people here and I've talked to some of the customers and people working here many times and they were down to earth. This location has a kiosk, so you can ship without standing in line otherwise this is a very good post office to come to.

Drivers are so reckless not once but 2x destroyed my property the first guy ripped out my mail box and second guy today bent my gate

The counter had no working pen. The pen with the taped chain gives the store an appropriate look.

Self service kiosks are SUPPOSED to be 24 hours according to their website. Not true. They lock their doors. Extremely aggravating.

This post office doesn't even pick up their phone. There is not even a automatic message that picks up. very frustrating.

So now to receive mail we have to go into the post office, which is the most poorly ran post office I have ever seen. There's a line out the door because of how nonchalant and slow they are. I had to show my ID and a previous envelope addressed to me in order to get my mail, for which the clerk, Maria, took out of my hands without my permission and then took out of my sight to her "supervisor," for a period of no less than 10 mins. This is shockingly unethical. I then had to plea in order to get my ID and mail to the supervisor who was extremely rude and said "I'll give it to you when I'm ready." I am not only shocked at the unethical and rude behavior, but the levels of complete disregard for common sense. Not only are they refusing service, they are forcing me to come in to their office for a reason that does not have to do with me or my address, give them my ID and then without explanation or consent, take it behind closed doors for an unsettlingly long time, again without my permission, and then when I ask for it back I get met with extremely grotesque attitude. I hope USPS reads this review and shapes this up immediately Unacceptable
