I go here a lot to ship packages. They are always very kind and helpful! Fast, efficient, and reliable.

I came to the post office to send a package, and the employee lady with the mask at the desk was on her phone the entire time, texting while I was trying to speak to her. When I asked a question, she didn't listen, and I had to repeat myself and ask if she even heard me. She apologized, but the overall interaction felt very disrespectful. There was no greeting, no professionalism, and no attention to customers -- just constant phone use. Based on this experience, I understand why this location has a low rating. read more

Disappointed today decided to go early and ONLY ONE WINDOW OPEN.....the Passport window and Asian Postal Worker was assisting a customer as she should but the lines grew longer and took to much time.. One customer knocked on the supervisor door and no response we patiently waited while no one showed up! Eventually after several minutes the line moved! This is the standard US Postal Service office. This office however, is quite efficient. It always has three tellers to take your packages and complete your transactions. They also have I'm guessing a couple hundred post office boxes. They alway have free supplies in stock and decorate for the season to boot. I'd give them a five star rating, but the small plaza that they're located in always hard to get a parking spot, other than that definitely their a top rated Postal Service facility. read more

REFUSED to deliver my mail, ALL packages were returned to sender. THREATENED ME by writing on my packages. Refused to do their job dropping off a couple bubble mailers, they contain sports cards, expensive ones. Withholding my mail, refusing contact. I was by this post office this past week. I wanted to mail something and also pick up a book of stamps. The line had about 4 people in it and there was only one clerk waiting on customers so after waiting a couple of minutes in line I ended up just mailing what I wanted to mail using the mailbox that was located just outside the post office and I decided to get the stamps somewhere else. When I was in there I did notice that the clerk at the front seemed friendly enough so if there hadn't been a line of four people in front of me I would not have minded dealing with the person. I also saw that they had a small area stocked with retail products that could be used for shipping. The retail area looked well organized, clean and well stocked. I would certainly drop by again another time when it is not so busy or they have more than one person servicing customers. read more

Wanted to bring attention to the profound unprofessionalism of the middle aged indian woman working at this USPS location. Wasn't able to catch her name, however I did get the delight of interacting with her today. I had a QR code for a clothing return to an international company and instead of answering my question on how to tell the difference between priority and ground on a QR code, she decided to be extremely rude. Michael was lovely and offered holiday stamps, however his coworker decided to comment on how people who purchase such things would know the difference between ground and priority. Just know that if you show up slightly before closing they will shut the doors if there is any sort of line at the counter.

No joke the worst post office in America 30+ minute line every time and they will not do anything about it. If you come here prepared to dedicate an hour of your day to being in there. read more

What a joke. The first time I went in here was November 16th, 2018 at 1645. I was told by the mail lady that my package would be out for delivery but that she could check the back if I wanted her too. When she came back she threw the box towards me saying, I guess I was wrong. In the box was a set of MCAT study materials and it landed on my hand....She quickly apologized. Its frustrating to have someone be so rude about something when I was simply requesting information about my $200 package. The second time I came here I was inside before 1655 on November 26, 2018. I had all of my materials to send for certified mail. I was second to last in line but I was told by the two male clerks that they were closed and wouldn't help me. I don't understand why the people who work here are so quick to be rude and ready to say they won't help you. Working for the post office is a civil service job, there is a reasonable expectation of professionalism and respect for customers and I haven't been given that. I wish that this location would change the attitude of the employees working here or hire people willing to provide services with the same respect they want. read more

Unfortunately, the people working here are absolutely miserable. This is evident because every single time I go, for any reason at all, they are yelling at me or the other customers. I have heard the women at the far left booth with blonde hair scream at more customers than I can count. It is so inappropriate. Had no idea what the ounce limit for First Class is. YELLED AT ME in front of the whole line for not knowing her own job. This is an embarrassment to the national post office of America. This post office has the best thing since sliced bread. It has a self serve machine...omg, it is sooooo cool, and IT NEVER CLOSES!! Yes if you need to mail something at 3am, go right ahead, it is always open. Need stamps at 6am go right ahead and buy them. Okay I am not positive about the stamps but I am positive about sending packages. Yesterday I had two over sized envelopes to mail at 2:00 in the afternoon, there must have been 15 or so people waiting in line (this office is always busy it seems) so I walked right by them and went to the self serve machine and was in and out in less than 3 minutes. Love it!!!!!!!!!!!! The people that work here are quick, efficient and nice, don't get me wrong I don't dislike the people but I do dislike waiting in line and I never have to at this particular location. read more

Walking into this post office is like being in an updated version of a Norman Rockwell painting. Andy, Tom, and Jo consistently give the greatest service imaginable. Totally helpful with packing suggestions and saving postage costs. I've lived in several countries and several states and I've never seen such personal, courteous service. A post office rep accidentally sold me international stamps. While she tried to remedy the issue, a second rep was rude and unprofessional, commenting repeatedly that there are no refunds and that I needed to be more specific when asking for stamps. When I voiced a concern that the credit slip did not show a credit, she commented " Take it up with your credit card company." I am very disappointed in the lack of professionalism here. read more

So I'm a union guy, and love being a part of a union first of all. But I went into this post office and saw that there was only 2 people working about about 9-10 people in line and I only needed 10 stamps so I went to the kiosk. I was wearing my local 222 hoodie and I hear this big guy behind the counter with a deep voice say to his coworker "ohh look there's a union guy using the machines that's going to replace us" first off calm down guy you are selling stamps not doing open heart surgery, and second you couldn't handle the 10 people currently waiting in line. I just got out of work and wanted to mail out my bills so I can go and spend some time with my kids before bedtime. So instead of standing there for 30-45 mins I was in and out in under 5. Sorry me not buying 10 stamps from you directly ruined your day. But you work with the public so you should be retrained because everyone could hear you saying that and you were making people uncomfortable. read more

I always travel from Quincy to use this post office (due to no parking).I am always impressed with the friendly staff..The line does get long at times,but they are friendly,professional and prompt in handling the packages.I plan on continuing using this branch! read more

If I could give this place negative stars I would. They have lost countless pieces of mail/packages and badly mishandled a piece of certified mail that was irreplacable (not our choice it was sent via USPS). The mishandling was so bad that a federal case worker had to get involved. She told us at the outset of her investigation that she "had to talk to Pearl St anyway about the four other cases filed against them," which just filled us with 'confidence'. Ugh. They also utilize extremely nosy, busybody-ish mail carriers. The one who regularly delivers to our house admitted to refusing to deliver mail for my husband because his "ethnic last name" didn't match mine. Avoid at all costs. Cannot overstate this recommendation enough. read more

The rep at this Post office handling the passport processing is so unprofessional. I wanted to ask a couple questions on shipping my renewal application and she refused to provide any attention to me or her coworker for that matter because it wasn't a first-time passport application. Her coworker assisted with my shipping but doesn't have any experience with the passport processing but attempted to get some answers. I even heard the rep who handles the passports rambling about me not knowing how to ship my renewal passport application. Just an awful experience.
