This location tried to squeeze more money from me and they did. Guys on the desk and manager were unhelpful. First they ask me to bring a box and said they will pack it, came back the next day and said they don't pack. Box is already bought and tape is cheap but they want to charge $5 on it. not sure who is responsible for fedex drivers delivering packages in the quincy center/quincy point locations but, fedex should train their drivers to pull over on the side of the road and not just stopping in the middle of a road blocking both sides of the city streets, " with out using their hazards on or no warning just stopped to deliver a package while blocking cars behind him"! not acceptable for fedex when its a delivery service for years! i even had time to photograph the truck stopped right in the middle of the street. driver did not acknowledge the cars waiting. or used his hazard lights! that's a real public safety issue that should be addressed before an accident occurs and could cause injury! read more

The last time the local FedEx driver misreported attempting to deliver a package to me, h/she did deliver it the next day. Hopefully, that will happen again. No harm, no foul? Actually, arriving to be ready for delivery takes a bite out of my day, so I resent the delay. I don't know what happens in the time when the purported attempted delivery is supposed to occur -- a visit to a girl/boyfriend, smoke a joint, place a bet with a bookie, make a phone call to mom, etc. But I don't benefit from it and vastly prefer the local UPS delivery. --- Unfortunately, no delivery again today. I sit 20 feet from the front door. The doorbell works when I push it. No sign of a FedEx truck on this street. "Delivery attempted" is fiction. read more

So I get there & the man there tells me that I need to package it myself & they wont honor my payment slip thingy... Im like my account # is right there on it, just reprint a slip & he said NOPE, we dont work like that.... I explained it was military related thinking I could get a little courtesy (guess he was Anti-War)... I left with my package & ended up having to go to the Post Office & repay (Out of Pocket) for shipping the item... and they were more than willing to help me... I love this place. This will be my forever go-to fedex. I came in here to ship a couple packages out. My boxes werent taped and i havent print any of my shipping labels out. Based on conversations i was hearing the person who was taking care of me was an assistant manager in training?? Well I definitely see this place going far and being in good hands because she was great. She was really nice. Took my boxes, prints my labeled and taped up my packages. All with a smile. I know this all sounds like its suppose to be her job but you will be surprised. Nice and good customer service are so hard to come by these days. Anyways. I was in and out in less than 4 mins. I don't recommend visiting this location. Visited today and not one employee was available to help. Literally no staff person was in sight for 5 minutes. Yelled out for help and no one appeared, ended up leaving the store. The self service area where you can scan and drop off your package was wide open with the key in the lock, so that was useless. This was the 3rd time the self service drawer was open this year when I visited. Just don't have a self service area if anyone who visits the store can grab the unsecured package. I have no plans to ever visit this location again as it has repeatedly shown they don't understand the bare minimum for customer service. read more

This was probably one of the worst experiences I have had at fedex. I ship materials about 10-15 times a year and generally go to the Randolph facility. Today I was in Braintree so made the mistake of going here. They had 2 people working and the place was packed. I had 3 people in front of me and it took 30 minutes for it to finally be my turn! They had 2 lines at first then turned into 1 line so it was total confusion. I went at 10am on a Monday, if this is peak time they should have more than 2 people working. You shouldn't have to wait 30 minutes to ship a package. The people working were nice but slow. Usually I get the tracking information emailed to me but they don't do that here. I have been to this location a few times. Today I entered and noted their increased safety precautions including stickers on the floor to indicate appropriate spacing, to the workers using gloves and masks etc. The gentleman behind the counter was very capable and actually was able to finish one transaction with another customer while starting mine. He was very speedy, thoughtful, helpful, and demonstrated both foresight and problem solving abilities. No complaints. Likely I will be using them for all future FedEx needs. read more

They do not provide passport photos that meet non-USA requirements. Staff are unhelpful. Go to CVS where they use a Kodak photo printing machine where you can select a photo to meet a number of different countries requirements. I got charged $16 by Fedex for 2 unusable photos. CvS charged $15 for 6 photos that were in spec. read more

Located on Granite Street near the South Shore Plaza mall, they are a quick zip from Furnace Brook Parkway in Quincy. They are situated on a hill, set back from the street, so you can easily miss this FedEx although there is a sign right on Granite Ave. The staff are friendly and helpful. I went here several times for the print and go self services. The machine got stuck a few times, and so far during my visits recently, only the Word files can be printed successfully, but not the pdf files. I was told by the people working here that there are certain files that can not be opened for printing with the self service, and have to be sent to their email to have them printed for you. I have sent the files to them for printing for two times. Both times the lady who did the printing chose the paper that costs higher fee without asking me first. I didn't print a lot of pages so the fee wasn't that high, but I felt uncomfortable being charged with a higher fee and I didn't request it. So be careful if you are coming for printing, make sure you have the file in both Word and PDF so that if one type of file doesn't work with the self service, another might work. If you still need the printing assistance from the counter, make sure to address clearly in the email what type of paper you would like, otherwise they might print it with a higher fee paper without notifying. read more

I called Fedex and after waiting for a bit I explained that I needed a place that packs and ships. I was asked if I needed an envelope and I said no I need someone who knows packing. He gave me this place 45 minutes away. Got there and the nice lady behind the counter said they do not pack items there. The closes place to there was another 40 minutes away. Poor customer service. Poor quality printing. I am not one to write negative reviews but after spending over an hour here today to pick up one fax I had to leave a review. There were 3 people working one gentleman helping a customer and the other 2 doing things behind the counter. I seriously don't know why this place has so many negative reviews. This place has done me well. I always divert my packages there so I can pick them up after work. I also always send stuff here. They are open on weekends which is great. I go in ask for a quote on how much shipping costs will be and then fill out the right form. In out easy. Customer service always seems to be pretty good with me, maybe it is because I know what I want and I am usually in and out. Usually I go in fill out the form wait in line and send it out. Worst customer service!!! The woman in front of me was shipping a large amount of boxes and the female was behind the counter helping her, as expected. As I stood there for 30 minutes while there were 6 other employees there chatting about family life, what their kids got on the MCAS, what they were having for dinner and who was and who wasn't going to carry boxes out to the truck, I began getting a little annoyed. This place is a joke! One person working and I had to wait over 12 minutes to pay for my fax pages, which took less than 30 seconds once it was my turn in line. Customer service is non existent. I have been in the store with 6 people waiting in line, with one emoloyee at the register and 5 other employees in the back talking or working on printing jobs. They will even take phone calls while you are waiting in line to pay. The employees should disengage with phone and print jobs and open another register for the people in line. If you prefer faster customer service and a better experience, go to the UPS Store off of Willard in Quincy. FED EX Office SUCKS! read more

I came in to drop off a prepaid package and ship my desktop computer today. Elvin (Sorry if i get your name wrong) was helping us and he was very friendly and helpful. Since we did not have a box large enough at home, we came here to buy one. We brought the wrapped computer parts to the counter and it was pretty awkward. He helped us pick out a right sized box and packaged it for us. After I told him I was worried that the computer might get damaged since we dont have any fillers in the box. He stuffed ALOT of paper inside for us. This is great customer service right there. Bless this man. read more

Service is extremely slow. There is only one service person who does know what he was doing, going back and forth to check with the manger, and there is a long line waiting. The other service woman is playing with a large machine, chat with each other now and then, but does not come to help. Waited for 21 minutes before being served. This is not a horrible store. They have plenty of inventory, but the printer was a little difficult to use (mac OS thumb drive incompatible). I agree that the customer service is lacking but it may be due to the training or personality of the one visible employee. I waited for the employee to return to the counter. He did not make himself available even though I could see him. I did not know if I could go over to the printer because it was sectioned off. I fumbled but eventually logged into Dropbox too print a file. I'm pretty sure he saw me tinkering with the software and looking confused and for some assistance. Btw, I was not greeted at any time. I left without a farewell. I left and proceeded to the UPS store for notary. They had much more staff and quick, kind, and available. I probably won't use this FedEx location ever again. read more

i had a shipment routed to this office as Fedex was going to deliver it to my office on a Saturday and my office was closed on Saturday. I went on saturday and after waiting for a rep and dealing with them they asked me to wait to check packages until other customers were helped. The package turned out to not be there and i was promised a phone call when they received it. No phone call and it is Wednesday. i called to look for the package and was told right away that they ship them back after 5 days. turned out the package didn't get there till Monday but why say that unless you know the package isn't there? I see what people are saying about how the customer service desk is set up. you are not acknowledged by anyone until a rep for the dept you need is available. I'm not impressed with Fedex right now. These guys rock! Problem: My friend needed paper copies of files I had sent her on CD. She had no printer and she needed these prints by early tomorrow morning for court. Fedex/Kinkos was still open. I called and talked to Mike and told him the situation, and he said they would be ready for pickup at 7am. In the am, I checked my email and received an email from Rick, that they would be all set and he was totally flexible in working with Uber driver who I sent to pick them up.
