I hate this place truly. There's been over 5 times where they have either lost my package OR put my package into the wrong mailbox. I have lost HUNDREDS of dollars with the things I've ordered and they misplaced them and told me there's nothing they can do about it. Every time I get something delivered here I'm taking a chance of never receiving it. I live in Arizona city so I'm unable to receive mail in my area. I've also found multiple peoples mail in my mailbox. I did return any packages and mail that were in mine but I'm guessing the people who got my mail kept it because it's pretty expensive stuff. Drop box broken, unable to drop off shipments and nobody in the back willing to come out to help.

We went to this post office to tell them we would be gone for 7 weeks and needed to have our mail forwarded. The girl behind the counter said that would take to long just fill out a hold mail form. Well they are only good for 30 days so she said to fill out 2. We got a call on our way out of town saying you can't do that. So they were gonna hold for the 30'days then start delivering. We said fine. We get back and there's a note in our box saying they have returned ALL of our mail because they think we have abandoned our box. We went to the post office to see what was going on and they didn't even hold the first 30 days. The lady behind the counter took the note our mail carrier left and wrote on it where is the mail. Next day we get a nasty note from the mail carrier that we need to check our mail more often so it doesn't get returned. Pretty rude comment when we tried to do the right thing and was told two different things. I won't be dealing with this office again if I can help it and I think the mail carrier for Gila Buttes Phase 2 is awful. read more

We have had a lot of trouble with mail finding our family out of state. The woman helping me explained that it's because it's a new build and not anywhere in the USPS system yet. She told me what they need to do step by step to get it added and assigned to someone's route. Their local post office hasn't taken the time to explain and help them in the five months they've been there trying to straighten this out, but the awesome staff here told what they need to do in detail, even though it's not this branch's responsibility. I greatly appreciate her willingness to go above and beyond! read more

My wife sent me here to mail a small package. Luckily I read the sign at the register that said there was a several dollar surcharge for using a credit card and I had enough cash to mail the package. My wife said she didn't see the sign when she'd been there the previous week and had gotten burned. read more

Like death and taxes, their was a time you could depend on the Post Office. Where I live, we have a contracted delivery person and it really sucks. Mail is constantly being delivered to the wrong address or not at all. I've had companies contact me about the return of a letter they sent - even with the correct address. Most likely, delivered to the wrong address and returned. My advice - if possible have your items sent certified which require a signature .. it's the only way to be sure. read more

I've lived in Casa Grande AZ for nearly 4 years. The postal service here is terrible unless you drive to the post office to personally mail a parcel out. No one answers the phone if you try to call to complain about deliveries. Delivery drivers often deliver the mail to mailboxes, but don't pickup outgoing mail. One summer this went on for 2 weeks straight (2023), but at best it remains sporatic. Another problem is the frequency of mail delivered to the wrong mailbox, which usually ends up sitting on top of a cluster of mailboxes, only to be blown away by the wind. read more

We dropped in here to send a package to Canada and the line was to the door. The clerks handled everybody efficiently and the line moved quickly. We also purchased some books of stamps because the price was going up the next day. They had a decent variety of stamps and we were allowed to select the ones we liked best. Options were everything from Scooby-Doo to First Responders (Police/Fire/EMT). Friendly employees that interacted with those of us still in line and one clerk who was dedicated to customers dropping off packages. We'll definitely be back whenever we are in the area. read more

This is the post office and if you want to send something, you don't have a lot of choices. Priority mail package was attempted to be delivered to a business in Casa Grande before 6 PM on a Saturday. Obviously, the business was closed so the package goes back to the post office with a note to hold it there as requested by customer. No notice was left for customer and customer did not tell post office to hold it there. Then, try getting a hold of the post office to have someone try to find the package. That's next to impossible. You can track the package and it's still being held at the post office. I'm not sure this post office even deserves the one star. read more

Long wait time and the staff was not very helpful. I waited 15 minutes in line to drop off a package. When I got to a desk, the staff told me that they couldn't tape my mailing label onto the package for me. read more

Submitted forwarding mail info in September- took it in personally as I know there are ID theft issues. 1 . Someone typed the wrong address into system. Got that corrected. 2. One month later still have not received any forwarded mail. 3. Tried calling the Casa Grande post office but it rings for 3 minutes (after voice info) then disconnects. 4. Sent a test letter to see if it'd get forwarded- got returned as not forward able. 5. Filed an online complaint/inquiry - have not received any response. VERY Frustrating! read more

If I could give the post office, negative stars, I would, it's way too hot. They don't have nearly enough people working and it takes far too long to get out the post office. In the future I will drive to another post office where the service is quicker and it's not so hot read more

Today my medical package was supposed to arrive. It went from Phoenix to Casa Grande and was supposed to go out for delivery but they sent it to Peoria instead. Now more days of severe pain. Thank you CG post office, you suck SOOO MUCH. I also got my package that was certified and lost for six weeks. Important documents that I needed a month ago. Its not the CG post office's fault but the post office in general. Where did it go? Who knows. It left Southampton, NY on Feb 5, or at least thats when it was dropped at the post office and arrived in AZ on March 20. It was only scanned in Phoenix and Casa Grande. No one scans the certified mail anymore but I spent about 80.00 to certify everything. From now on for anything important I will use UPS. I would use Fed Ex if I wanted it stolen, broken, lost or tossed over my fence to find it a week later...like my laptop and broken glass set, broken blender. Or maybe on the road for anyone to just take. read more

I have a broken lock on my mailbox, have called Casa Grande Az office 3 times, left 4 messages In box. Has been broken since first week in Jan 2021. So far nothing, I am fed up called main PO, 2 times complained. I have a one star so It would allow my commit. I am missing mail, letters etc. There should be a way to fix it. But no open with fingers. I have no respect for the lousy post office. If I miss a check , a legal , family letter. I will hire a lawyer. read more

This is the absolute worst post office in our county. It's filthy, the doors have been broken for at least 5 years, their service is ALWAYS SLOW (worse since COVID) and employees seem to be uninformed about pricing and standard practices. Seriously, this place needs a major overhaul! read more

Worthless..I paid shipping to have a package delivered. My mail lady left 3 attempted delivery slips in my mailbox. I went down to office to find out why she wasn't leaving it. The rude gentleman, who thinks he's funny with his dumb jokes first tried to tell me it was delivered because no one was home to sign for it. After showing him the video from my camera of her putting it in the mailbox and driving off tried to say the 9 lb box was to heavy to deliver. These people are a bunch of lairs and crooks read more

I sent a certified letter to a residence in Casa Grande. It was supposed to be delivered yesterday. Said it was out for delivery, and now only thing showing is an alert that it is waiting delivery scan. What's the point in paying extra if someone isn't going to scan it as delivered?? Tried calling post office- 1 hr hold time is ridiculous!!! Still hoping it's somewhere and maybe someone might actually deliver it TODAY and scan it so it shows delivered. read more

Have not had a problem when I have had to drop of packages but you can never get them to answer the phone. It rings and rings, the call appears to be picked up and then it is hung up. No recorded message, no individual, no nothing. If you need information and you can't find it in their automated messages or in the FAQ, the only option you have is to go to the post office and hope the wait is not loo long. l Sent a message to ecustomer care and got a response that they will review and investigate the matter but provided no time frame. read more

I love this post office they are quick and efficient. I have been there nuerous times in my 3 years here. It is better than most of the post offices I have visited. Their online services are phenomenal, it fits most of my needs. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I can't say enough about this post office. Good job, and thank you for your help. read more

I've lived in AZ City for 26 years and had a PO Box for all of those years. For as long as I can remember each year I've had to bring in proof that I live here. Today when I brought in my "proof" there was a sign at the entrance saying masks were required, when I got up to the counter the contractor was not wearing a mask so I took a photo of her and she lit up, had me delete the photo, which I did, and I asked why she wasn't wearing a mask, she ranted that she didn't have to. At a time when AZ was spiking in COVID cases the PO is requiring us to come in person to show that we live here, we have to come in contact with an individual who shows contempt for others by not having the courtesy of simply wearing a face covering. Besides the rudeness of this individual I've had my car backed into twice picking up my mail, had properly addressed envelopes and packages returned. The USPO should be concerned about losing business with contractors who do little show little concern for USPO customers. I ask everyone I do business with to ship to my home address so I don't have to be insulted to get my mail. read more
