This post office has amazing customer service, not sure what all these other reviewers are talking about, they must be miserable from the moment they wake up! I have never had a bad experience here & have been coming here since the day it opened when it was the best kept secret in Chino Hills. All the clerks are friendly, informative, professional, and very helpful. They also have 3 self service kiosks, a prepaid package acceptance machine (which I love) hallmark & gift cards, plenty of packaging supplies, & a great selection of stamps. Lived in Chino for a very long time and I have never seen such horrible service from the Chino post office the past few years. My mail is always missing. I get my neighbors mail along with mail that belongs to an address that isn't even close to me. I can never get ahold of anyone at the post office to address these concerns. I do an online complaint but you know where those go! No Where!!! Recently I did not get my mail for 3 days and there is nothing I can do! Fucking run away from this place. Did mail forwarding online, says they don't have a record of my request. Received their confirmation mail in my mail box, they have the audacity to say they don't have a record of my request. They called back, left a voice message, the only way I could describe that woman's voice mail was basically she was high. Repeatedly trying to tell me her number starts with 909 to call her back but she just can't finish the number. In any case, it's a monstrosity and I'm really shocked and amazed that this place is still open. Government knows no shame. Went to pick up the package, it took three of their staffs to find the package in their own facility. Even asked me the most retarded question, "Did you get this package already?".. I think the Chino Hills post office 's officer needs to get some brain working for the Post office. they need to learn to be professional and do things right! I'm Cheng! I sold my house to a Chen family, I moved to Rancho Cucamonga. I apply for change address and forward my mail to the new address of Rancho Cucamonga. but Chino Hills post office forwarded the new owner's mail to me and let my mails stay at the same old address. the new owner Chen complains too to the C-H Post Office , Chino Hills Post office improved for a while, but still made mistakes often. This time i received a letter to Chen Bo ( the new owner) but forwarded to my new address of Rancho Cucamonga. I So I forwarded it back to Chen Bo in Chino Hills, The Post office AGAIN forwarded back to me to my new address of Rancho Cucamonga AGAIN!.and even mark a note on the address said-( CORRECT)!!! I really think these people didn't use thier brain to deliver mails, even though the new owner Chen and I called them to complain, and they still make the mistakes..... who can teach them to do the right thing? because I mark on the envelope asking them to return the letter to the right person, CHEN BO at the right address, they still insiste they are correct!and sent it back to me! Do I need them to tell me my last name? what if they insiste my last name is not Cheng? why they insist to change my last name from Cheng to Chen and insite that I'm Chen Bo?but the truth is that I'm not Chen Bo? poor mr. He slammed his fist against the counter when i asked him a question coming close to closing time for them one saturday about a package they lost and did not deliver. The line was terribly long so I tried out the self service counter, but my book would've been shipped for $13. So I opened my package in order to use a flat rate envelope, but turns out my book was too wide to fit! I finally had to give up and wait in the ridiculously long line. At the counter the lady tells me shipping is. $5 if I use my own envelope -_- so I step aside to find a plain envelope to purchase and repackage my book. The second lady to help me said shipping would be $13. I told her it was media because it was a textbook, and the worker beofore had told me it would be around $5. This lady then says she saw me take out my book, and since it's not binded, it's not considered media. I was so upset because a book is a book. I had already gone through so much trouble simply trying to find the cheapest shipping. She refused to give me the media rate, so I left to ship my package at another post office. This was a terrible experience at this post office. The line was ridiculously long and that lady was extremely rude when she spoke to me. She had a bad attitude the entire time. I was doing an exchange order for stamps and needed to mail it back to their corporate office...its been over 1.5 week and the order never went BACK to their office. (I know because we checked our bank statements and they never gave us our return money). Did THIS post office steal our stamps? it didn't make it there... I recently read about people who work at this post office stealing other peoples' stuff. I was trying to pick up a package that's basically been missing for a month and I had gotten a phone call that directs to this location. So I went in wanting only to ask if they had it or could check if it would be held at another location (near my new home). It's just a QUESTION but one of men working there decided to answer very rudely in a very demeaning manner. What could have been a simple "oh it will most likely be at the other location" or looking up the tracked package, he spoke very loudly to tell me (and everyone else in the post office) there's no reason for the package to be there and if I had forwarded all the mail to my new home.... of course I did! seriously this place lied to me; I went today and spoke with clerk number 11 and right off the bat I knew something was up when she was charging me the higher amount. She stated that my envelope was a parcel and therefore i needed to pay an extra fee to get it shipped....Me, being unknowing of this type of thing agreed hesitantly. Little did i know that she was full of it and, after contacting multiple post offices to get the same answer, found out she lied and charged me extra for something i didn't need. My advice for you is to use the automated mailer; if you must deal with the people of this post office make sure you research everything before you commit- don't let them charge you extra for things you didn't need or have. read more

Ok let's start by saying I've always hated going to the post office. I can't stand waiting in line just to be helped by a grumpy less than helpful government employee. I get it, you don't like your job but can you at least act like you want to give good customer service, maybe just smile once in a while? Anyways I digress.. I go to the post office about once a week for work and ever since we moved our office from Orange to Chino Hills my views on the weekly post office experience have changed drastically. First off even if there is a line it moves quickly, the workers there will all open up their registers (5 open at once often) and actually make an effort to expedite the wait time. Most of the employees are friendly but more importantly they are helpful. One time I didn't get tracking on some packages and went back two hours later realizing I needed tracking and the guy went through the outgoing packages found my packages at the bottom and set up tracking for them. 4 stars instead of 5 only because it is still the post office and yeah no one likes going to the post office. read more

I needed to come in to get my passport. I called them ten times but nobody picked up the phone. I had to drive there and talked to the lady. I told her about the phone and she didn't believe me !!! She said if I want to make an appointment for passport, there is an opening in march which is 1 month away. I declined and walked to the city of chino which is two minutes away. I scheduled an online pickup knowing because I had to leave town. I received email confirmation that pick up had been scheduled. However, I checked my security cam and noticed the package was still sitting there! And what frustrates me is that later on in the evening I got an email confirming that my package was picked up! When it wasn't. So I called the post office and was advised that a carrier would be contacted to pick up my package...however, they never came...i have been calling all day and received a busy signal. I don't normally give reviews but I had a really good experience! I originally was wary of heading here too because of some of the reviews. There were several counters open as I walked in. Needing to get a right-fitting envelope for my legal-sized documents, I stood in line at the counter that had a bunch of shipping supplies behind it. The woman at the other counter asked if she could help me. She gave me the right mailing slip to fill out and then went out of her way to find me the right envelope. She told me to go back to her after I prepared my mailing slip and package so she could help other people. As I was preparing my package, I noticed that a line was forming behind me. Usually I'm used to folks just passing by me and skipping ahead of me, so I was pleasantly surprised at how polite even the customers were to let me hold my spot as I was preparing my package. When I was done and the line had become very long, another guy came out to help. He asked if that all I had was a package to mail out and then rang me out at another counter. All in all, I was happy that the customer service was so helpful and attentive. Highly recommend! read more

Could not find any customer service number. They only have one number, but no one picks up the phone and it automatically hangs up on you.

It's USPS, so what do you expect? This location is actually not bad for a post office. The workers are relatively friendly, and the location is kept in good shape. Of course, service can be painfully slow at times, which is just the case in all USPS. But I find it hard to be angry, since, like I said, the workers are friendly and actually have personalities, unlike a majority of USPS outlets. I do like the drive up mail deposit box. read more

hmm... one issue that I've encountered twice now is my vacation holds on mail. I've stopped requesting a hold and just let my mail pile up in my box now because 2 out of 3 times, they forgot to redeliver my mail on the following day. I actually have to call to let them know that I'm back and they apologize and bring it the following day. It seems like they don't pay attention to when holds end. I mainly do the holds if I know I have a package coming in through USPS. Other than that, they can still get me in and out quickly if I need to ship packages. I recently switched from residential delivery to a PO box at the Chino Hills Post Office. The reason for the switch was our mail was frequently being delivered to neighboring homes and vice versa. We complained to the Postmaster but saw no improvement. Now that we have a PO box, mail has gone missing and our box has received mail for other PO boxes, some not even close in number or proximity to ours. This is extremely disappointing and frustrating. The lack of professionalism at this Post Office calls for a massive turnover in supervision and personnel. read more

I've spent 4 hours of my life this week trying to resolve a situation wherein I stopped receiving mail even though I've been at my current residence for 4 years. Nothing's been resolved, called 800 number 4 times this week, with an average hold time of 50 minutes each. Escalated the case to Consumer Affairs and still no resolution. This was my first time mailing out from this branch. Usually I use the Ontario 91762 or 91761 branches and the service is slow. I've even had packages sit in their building for 5 days before it made it to the distribution center. Mailed out a package for Christmas on December 21st. Parking was insane! By the looks of how many people were saint for a spot, I was a bit dismayed. People were actually leaving pretty quick. We parked and went in I have NEVER seen a line so long at the post office! I didn't think people frequented the post office as often anymore but I guess if there are fewer post offices, it only makes sense that the remaining locations would have more customers going there, but like I said, it's never too bad. Anyone can track their mail online with a tracking number you moron... after he suppose "tracks" my package, he tells me it has been delivered to my home address. Completely useless, incompetent and waste of taxpayers money... wish I could prevent my taxes from paying these stupid people. And forget about their phones being answered. The customer service I got from Lieu was totally unprofessional. I simply asked her for a sticker to write the address on my package and she ignored me, then when she did answer she impatiently responded "you made me mess up my password for the computer, what do you want?" I continued to ask her for the sticker. once she gave me the sticker, she told me "get out of the way, youre taking up my counter space. I need this counter space" I told her she was being rude and she responded defensively by saying "im not being rude, you made me mess up my password and now youre taking up my counter space. Go get in line" I told her I know how it works and I was going to get in line. Also, I have a cast on my left foot so I'm not as quick as I normally am so for her to get impatient with me because I didnt move quick enough, made me even more upset. Rating the place solely on my experience. I came here because I needed the renew my passport and made an appointment online a few days prior. I came in about 10-15 min early and was told to wait. A man approached me asking whether I had all the documentation and checked everything and gave me the okay. Exactly my appointment time, I had my picture taken, gave my documents, paid, and was out in 6 minutes. Overall was probably the best experience of issuing a government ID I've ever had. read more
