The lady that works there is great - does her job and is kind of a no BS kind of lady =) As I wish all postal workers were at all places - have your stuff ready when you get there! The building is kind of hidden by trees from the main road, but easily accessible right across from the BBQ joint. Side note - their last truck leaves late, so if you have Express shipping items it might take a day longer to get to it's destination!

Mom went to apply for a passport for her first time (in August) and the passport lady sent the (not…read moreaccepted) birth certificate with the application in, weeks later the passport processing place let her know that it was not an acceptable form of birth certificate and that she would need to mail out an original. It is now almost October, and we have had to pay $165 for the application, $80 to expedite, $40 worth of expedited mailing documents ($285) total for the passport that should have arrived by now for $165 if applied for properly by this post office. We leave in a little over two weeks, we have no idea if we are going to get it in time. ALL of this was preventable if the lady did the job she IS BEING PAID to do, correctly. I'd be happy to take this down if they do the right thing and make an effort to at least provide a partial reimbursement for the mistakes made on their end.

They would accept my pre-printed labels and items with a smile and a friendly chat. I arrived with a medium sized box and motorcycle tire (brand new tire not dirty etc), and labels. The "welcome" I received was very cantankerous as to how I dare bring that in here and "we don't do that". I had to take a step back as I felt like very embarrassed in front of my daughter and other patrons. I don't know what changed, but I will not be going back to Pine Lake Mail Post anytime soon. They have lost my trust and respect.

I've left notes on redeliveries to leave the packages over the gate and they don't. Instead I get a message that states there was something wrong with the address on the package and they either send it back or take another two weeks to deliver. Tried picking up at the post office but it's always a battle between this office and the one in North Bend, they constantly blame each other. Honestly, at this point I just believe it's sheer laziness.

I spent 40 minutes waiting in line patiently with everyone else. I was next up and waiting for my turn when I overheard the employee telling the customer "I hate this place. I wish it would burn to the ground. The only good thing about this place is it forces me to update my resume". When you wait for 40 minutes in line calmly like everyone else you really don't want to hear how disgruntled the employee is. When I was done with my two envelopes and two bubble packages the line was literally to the door! When I left there were over 20 people waiting in line!!

What they don't tell you is they don't scan packages put in the drop box, left on the counter/door! You have to wait in line for an hour to have them scan a prelabeled/paid package in order to get tracking for it. If not, they apparently just don't scan it and toss it on a truck and you don't get the tracking service you paid for! Makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. From other reviews, this seems to be the only location that doesn't properly scan packages in. It's really nonsensical.

They won't scan in packages and instead made me put the package in this cart with DHL, FedEx, UPS, etc. It's now 4 days later and my packages were "picked up" last night. I see why they don't scan them in. It's liability. Since they didn't scan it and I didn't get a confirmation of me dropping off my packages now I'm stuck with my word against theirs. What is going on at this place???…read more I have lived in Maple Valley now for seven months. No matter where I have lived before. I have never had problems with postal deliveries. That has all changed. In a short period of time. By mail, tracking software, shows packages and mail delivered on a daily basis, but that is far from the truth. For example, I am showing that two packages were delivered earlier this week. Yes, you guessed it. They are nowhere to be found. Local media has been alerted to this and has even done a story recently. The back room of the post office is packed wall-to-wall with packages that have not yet been delivered. Good thing it's not the holiday season when people count on things they bought being delivered. SMH.
