I received a message stating that USPS attempted to deliver my package and that a notice was left because no secure location was available, however, NO notice was left AND I was home ALL DAY (due to the COVID quarantine) with the curtains wide open in my home, with plenty of "secure" locations on my front porch to leave the item. I've heard of USPS falsifying scans before because supervisors want their carriers to return to their office sooner, and as a customer I don't appreciate falsifying documentation at the expense of me being lied to about the delivery or delivery attempt of my package. read more

I sent my rent out to my landlord in a check form across the country. I bought the express service which should have delivered in one day. My landlord hadn't received it even 5 days later. I was stressed. Worst part was I lost my receipt with my tracking number. I frantically went back to this post office and kindly asked the nice lady behind the desk if they might be able to retrieve a record of it some how. (Small lady with dark hair & dark glasses) she just stared at me blankly and said that without a tracking number, she couldn't help. After going through my purse for the hundredth time, tearing up my car looking for the receipt & getting an ear full from my husband, I reluctantly decided to come back in the afternoon to look for the representative that helped me when I sent the package out. To my relief she was there that afternoon and said. " Oh yes, I remember that package, give me a minute" she went to the back and came out with an original sheet of my order!!!! Her name is Connie, she is consistently kind and helpful but last week, she saved my life. I'm so thankful and my husband didn't have to kill me over the lost tracking number. read more

I have been to this post office to mail packages so many times over the past few months that I've lost count. They have always been friendly and efficient. When things get a little too busy, an Employee comes out and ask if anyone is just dropping off packages (without receipt) and if so, they take care of them for you. This location has a designated parking lot, so that's a big plus. I've never had an issue with parking. So, overall, this location is great. read more

If I could I wouldn't give this place a star at all. This is my first review and unfortunately it's because this place is terrible. My package is missing. My roommate was home and there was no knocking on the door at the time they said the package was delivered. I checked the front door, my mail box, the leasing office, and my package is no where to be found. I spoke to an Asian lady on the phone. Her name is Liz or something like that. She cut me off multiple times. She said that we played music loud, or that we weren't home that's why we didn't hear knocking. She was basically telling me I lost the package that I never received. The passport center lost my application and we had quite a complicated transaction to go through due to this and Edith and her co-worker helped me leaps and bounds. I typically dread coming here, but sometimes there's no help for it :/ Service has often been slow, but is also often bad - a lot of the postal workers here can be incredibly rude. From time to time though, I'll get a worker that helps me who isn't so much rude as apathetic, which I guess I prefer. I think my favorite postal worker is the Chinese lady that glares at me when I come in by myself, but when I go in with Boyfriend, she treats him like the second coming of Jackie Chan and then just mercifully ignores me. Anyway, you go in, take a ticket, and wait for the other half dozen customers that think they're in line to get pissed at you when your number is called because they didn't realize they needed a ticket. Good times. This post office is located on the east end of an aging strip mall and can be awful to get in and out of. If the workers are rude, the customers are a hundred fold more so! Good luck trying to get out of that lot when there's a log ass line of people to lazy to get out of the car, so they all stop at the drop box at the parking exit, and fail miserably in trying to reach the opening so that they're forced to get out anyway, thus further holding up the exodus of cars. My first review on my Cellphone, lets do it! my apartment doesn't accept packages anymore so I have to come here every time I order anything online. I wish they would forward my packages to the Placentia post office but they can't. So I am stuck here, by the way waiting inline now as I am writing this review. There is always a long line at this post office, doesn't matter the time you come, you will still have to wait atleast 30mins. Don't drive down Chapman as much as I used to, its a bit out of the way but I guess I will be here atleast few more times for my mail. read more

I know USPS customer service as a whole is literally trash but David who works at this office was so kind and was attentive to my delivery issue. He coordinated with the carrier to find out what happened to my package and made sure to return a call to give practical updates. Called multiple times first thing in the morning before they deliver packages but nobody answered and when somebody finally answered named "stephanie" who is so rude. I told her to make sure to hold my package because the online store i bought accidentally shipped it to my old address. She just said that the postman is not there yet and will leave him a note. I specifically told her and asked her a favor to make sure that to please hold my package and of course they don't really care and the customer service SUCKS! my package was shipped back overseas which i waited for for month just because people there has no communication with bad customer service and does not care!!!!! Normally, I'd give this place 3 stars for the nasty attitude I typically get alongside my long wait... I dread coming here but had to make a trip here for work one day and had such a terrible experience. I had a company check to pay shipping for a couple of boxes, totaling approximately 14 bucks. The sign on the counter says "valid ID must be presented with all checks". I'm an international student hailing from Montreal, Quebec [Canadian] and consider my Quebec driver's license valid since it's a government ID. The lady at the counter didn't seem to agree with me and absolutely humiliated me in front of the various customers waiting. She kept insisting that the ID had to be American, Californian, specifically, and that she couldn't accept the liability that the check would bounce. Really, lady? I'm not trying to rip off 14 bucks from the US Postal Service. SERIOUSLY?! After 25 minutes, checking with a supervisor at my begging, she finally accepted the check and let me leave. Tried to ship live fish here it they didn't let. I've been shipping live fish for so long now I don't remember. I know USPS allows the shipments of live fish if packaged correctly, so there wasn't any problem. They wouldn't accept it for some reason so I went to another location and shipped it and they let. This place pretty much sucks. My packages are always going missing. I cannot have my medicine delivered to the house because it goes missing too. I have no problem with UPS deliveries. I even talked to a manager here who said they would hold my packages at the post office for pickup. Guess what another missing package. Like all the other reviewers stated, the workers are very slow. They could care less if there are 20 people in line. The parking is horrible. I just tried calling there to put a trace on my missing package and guess what? No one bothers answering the phone. Love usps no complaints whatsoever. Always faithful. They're so consistent! Since I was a little kid! I used to love getting mail when I was younger, but now I hate it because it's usually bills, BUT THATS NOT USPS' FAULT. Sometimes, they don't always recognize that I have outgoing mail because I have a slot and not a box with a little flag, BUT NO MATTER... Theres a always a drop off box or a usps location nearby. Spoke to someone named DAVID about a lost package. He was rude right off the bat and pretended to check on its whereabouts (I could tell he didn't check anything because he took absolutely no time before insisting there was nothing). He provided no information and rudely asked me how he was supposed to help me, as if I'm supposed to know how he can do his job better. My husband called back 5 minutes later about the same lost package and suddenly he was willing to provide more information when talking to a man. My husband called him out on his unwillingness to help me when I called and DAVID straight up pretended that it wasn't him. In an effort to deny that it was him, he said "How could that be me? I'm being helpful now."My husband had heard the entire conversation and called him out on lying, then he admitted that he had spoken to me. Then DAVID LIED about the information I provided him. My husband called him out on lying again, to which he responded "it was just a misunderstanding". No. He clearly thought he could get away with being rude to a female customer, then put his tail between his legs when a man called him back and confronted him. Absolutely pathetic. Worst US Post Office I've ever set foot in... had to send off a letter today, counter's busy so minding my own business first in line when this woman rudely cuts right by me to nab a clerk's spot! I literally blink and my spot's taken! The next clerk's spot was available after a customer left so I attempt to send my letter with them but *another* woman who was waiting there before me for idk how long just up and takes it saying clerk promised to help her first. Now I'm pretty ticked off I expect common courtesy in public especially involving a *designated line*, if y'all gonna cut the line I'm in, with or without an excuse, what's the dang point of the line?! Only okay part was that postage was relatively cheap. Fingers crossed they don't lose my letter like with all these other reviews, although I'm not getting my hopes up. So not only are the clerks at this location just done with life, the local customers are rude AF. I'd never return if it wasn't so close to uni, thank god I only have to mail stuff a few times a year, and for those few times I will be using MUCH more worthier post offices than this dumpster-fire waste of taxpayer funds. read more

As my dad put it, this was the best USPS experience because of the unparalleled care and consideration of the employees. And mind you, it's not that either of us have ever had bad service, we just received a crazy stinking good level of attention. I was a hot mess and needy customer but Oahn (apologies if I am spelling her name wrong) was kind, patient and went ABOVE AND BEYOND. I had lots of questions and had to send 6 packages, 3 of which had to be sent registered mail. She made sure I knew what registered mail meant and that I wasn't overpaying for a service I didn't need. She also helped find boxes, pack items and was extremely detail-oriented. Amazon told me my package was delivered by USPS, and i kept waiting and waiting for arrival. I waited a month and then claimed my refund because i never received my product. (Back in November 2014) TODAY (june) i ordered another package a month ago and never recieved it once again. Made a complaint to amazon. I was in my balcony cleaning because no one ever goes in it and i see both my packages their! I live alone so obviouslly i didnt put it back their. The mailman must have thrown my packages in my balcony because the box was too bulky to be placed inside the mailbox. 1- we have special HUGE mail boxes with keys if the package is too huge 2-you couldve left it at the door 3-you couldve left a note and wouldve picked it up my self. November package was important because they were eye drops! Recent package wasnt as important, bunch of miscellaneous stuff. But still, why is the mail man throwing my packages in the balcony. I recently moved to Fullerton. I was not home when they tried to deliver a package. I went on line to reschedule a deliver. It was not redelivered. I called the national 800 number and after 44 minutes talked to an agent. She rescheduled it for the next day. It didn't come. Okay, so here's the deal: Most of the customers coming in here don't read directions, don't bother to look the directions on the internet how to mail packages, the come in wanting to get a passport, when they don't have all the documentation. The staff is steady, and smart. But they're undermined by not having enough of them behind the counter. Often, the management --a position gained by doing the least amount of work, but by working the system, has one person circling in the lobby, asking if people have forms filled out, and 2 people behind the counter. Since none of the customers bother to do the most basic reading of instructions, it can take a long time to get anything mailed. Thank goodness for the machines, except that the very same people who don't understand how to mail a package or letter, are hopeless at using the machine. One wonders if perhaps they should resort to sending smoke signals, or maybe just using two cans with a piece of string, rather than making this post office such a test of endurance. read more

I requested a pickup and got a confirmations number and that is WEC...... for yesterday. they never came to pick it up . I called this morning and all she said was I will talk to the carrier this is the third time in a year that I have requested this service and I have had to take it in myself so the delivery I promised my customer would still be in tact. Worst post office in the area! I know they have failed their audits for mail going out on time. I know this because they had to post the results one time! I just mailed out a 2 day priority envelope last Thursday May 30th, and today, Tuesday June 3rd, it is somewhere in Oakland, CA when it should have been delivered to North Carolina by Monday, yesterday! They are terrible at getting stuff out! The big guy Eric at the counter has been there forever, and other than his robotic programmed statements has no personality at all, just a grouch. I'd recommend Charm School! Additionally, the drive through drop mail box was taken out months ago. I asked Eric about it, he said somebody hit it and it takes 3 months to order another. It has been 8 months now and the area is smoothed over, so apparently never going to happen! Terrible service for a US Post Office. The self service machine just inside the door is the best feature of the post office, as you don't have to deal with any of the counter help, except I have found the bin door locked on many occasion! read more
