One worker. Over 20 deep. It took forever to get a letter mailed. They need to hire more people.

I called in this morning and received the best service from a lovely blonde lady in the back prepping for the day- Dawn, Donna? She really went above and beyond to help me get my package so that my little girl would have what she needed in time. Yeah that guy with the glasses. Could you at least tell him to at least fix his attitude?? Because every time we all go there he looks like he's just miserable as heck always giving a dang attitude to everyone. Today was my third visit to the post office. I usually go to the one near the airport, which I love. For the third time, the lines were long and moved slowly. Unfortunately only two windows were open. The agent who helped me today, did not want to listen as I tried to finish my sentence, cutting me off rudely. When I attempted to give some feedback about my situation she was not interested in listening and sent me to a supervisor. While the supervisor was helpful, if my mail carrier had done things differently from the beginning, I would not have had to make a trip during my work hours to the post office. Came to the post office because our complex's mailbox package slot was broken. (There's 4 slots for packages.. 2 of them have keys jammed in them and ripped off so they are stuck inside.. it's been this way) We were told That we had to go to the post office to get a key remade so we went to the post office to do it ourselves. We got Eugene who treated us poorly and didn't say much other than to treat us like we were stupid. After we explained what we needed help with, he just walks away from us and brings a paper and tells me to write our name and address down. After I write it down, he points at our address and just says with a smirk "this is henderson" .. we said that we knew it was henderson.. we live here. And he simply repeats himself "this is henderson" to keep making us feel like we are stupid ... and after we just look at him like what's the problem? Just tell us! He says we came to the wrong post office. I then say.. can you please tell us where to go then?? And he disappears again and comes back with the address to the post office we needed to go to and says "you better hurry.... " How about just telling us where to go instead of playing games and treating us poorly like we are stupid and wasting time by doing so?? It was 4:30pm when we left and we headed towards the other office. They were closed since 3pm. I wonder if he knew that. Apparently my box was put into the WRONG mail box ! Called hawaii's postal services and said I should of gotten it last week ! MY BOX IS LOST & the lady said whoever drops off mail in your neighborhood must of put the key to the mail box in the wrong box ! WHAT A FCKING IDIOT !! I will find this person . If there is a BOX , drop it off at the house ! Fcking dumb and ignorant ! Now my IPHONE is lost ! Thanks to Nevada US postal services for putting my box WITH MY DAM IPHONE IN the wrong mail box IDIOTS. this is the worse place to do business in Nevada, it takes 40 for them to answer and then they put you on hold for 30 minutes and then it hangs up on you, I tried to call back just rings and no one answers, called 10 more times, they couldn't know who was calling them, and they still never answered, the worse, I will never use them again to send out stuff, when I buy anything from now on I will tell shipper to only use Fedex or UPS read more

Was expecting a foreign package and tracked it daily.... package out for delivery yesterday, but carrier determined it was undeliverable as addressed. Went to post office and my request to search for it was immediately dismissed. Agent made up a story saying the package had already been returned to the sender (China). I could tell he was brushing me off and finally realized I was not going to leave the window until he looked for it. Meanwhile, the actual carrier walks by and says he mis - sorted my package yesterday and would deliver it today. Ok..so the carrier made an error and corrected it. The window agent was too lazy to find the package so he lied. This example shines a light on my post office experiences for several years...you have a 50% chance of things going right at the post office. read more

yes, my stoner mailman must be high, because he also delivered my box and key to the wrong mailbox and the ahole neighbor who got it stole it from me !! i am so pissed right now. hate usps!!! then i opened a case online after waiting an hour on hold with the 800 # and this branch manager called me to say he'd look into my case. well, who knows what he did, because he didn't call me back and went online and closed my case. u reopened it and he went in and closed it again with no communication , again. i feel we should report this branch to the post master of henderson. it's like they're trying to hide the poor service and negligence that i'd going on there!!!they don't even deserve 1 star!!! read more

I have mailed a priority mail that was lost and never recovered so far with gift cards inside. The lines are always huge.

The post office leaves a key in the parcel box which does not work!!!! They don't answer the phone and when they finally do, they hang up on you. Rude!! Terrible delivery service and I still don't have my two packages. Over and over trouble with the post office and the post person!!! How does one get something done about it??? read more

Horrible experience during the 2 times I had to physically come to this branch. I'm new to the area & this was my first parcel I was expecting to my new address. Ebay rep sent my parcel almost immediately after payment, it took 3 or 4 days to reach me... or so I thought. It was flagged by USPS as "undeliverable as addressed"... Twice. My paypal and ebay info were accurate. It just lingered in Henderson somewhere for two weeks. I explained my situation during the first time I received the "undeliverable" message, and they were just rude about hunting it down, like I was a burden. "We have a whole pile of incorrect mail, I'd have to look through the whole pile" WELL YEAH that's what they pay you to do, to address customer concerns. "The address probably cut off on the label, next time put it on the second line" unsympathetically and "no I don't see it. We PROBABLY sent it back to sender this morning". There's a tracking number! I'm sure the usps has more accessible info than the consumer! How does the package just disappear from the radar? They sent it to Arizona a few days later (not even where the package was sent from) then back to Henderson, where it was flagged "undeliverable" again. Luckily I was off that same day so I went right down the the post office to check it out before it would "probably" be sent out again. It. Was. There. With the correct full address, nothing left off! Dated for 5/26/15. He had no answer for me when I said the correct address was there the whole time, and asked why it couldn't be delivered. I gave it one star because there are no zero stars / I finally received the package 6/10/15. read more

oh god. I'm giving two stars ONLY because the workers seem relatively pleasant. Out of the two dozen? Post offices in my life I've dealt with, this is the slowest. Horrifying. At first, on this particular day, they seemed grossly understaffed, with one person out. Then 3 more came out, but they all slowed down to do no more than the one person. It's like watching baywatch slow motion, except without bathing suits or any upside. On the bright side, they have metal detectors going in, which is good, because you might otherwise be tempted to bring in a sharp object and take yourself out after an eternity of waiting. Be sure to bring a birthday hat because even if you had your birthday the day before going, you won't get out without celebrating your next birthday. Thank god they -seem- at least reasonably pleasant, because this is "exhibit A" for government workers getting paid the same whether they serve 18 customers in an hour or 1. read more
