Specifically they've helped me twice with passport photos, which can be tricky and something I don't want to trifle with. They follow the requirements and I haven't had an issue with any photo being accepted. My most recent interaction with Postal Plus was shipping a package around the holidays. The US Postal Service line can always be arduous this time of the year, but for a few extra bucks more I was more than happy to have Postal Plus help me out. They offered me some options for shipping, including UPS and FedEx, and in the end found a great price that also worked with the shipping timeline I needed. Was told that if I had paid online and printed label myself and shipped directly with FedEx, that's how much it would have been, but their prices are different. Speechless. Motionless. Like a deer in the path of a runaway semi's headlights. Their label was already on my package, so I paid. Oh... and I was there on Monday afternoon. Was told my package would arrive on Wednesday. After I paid, was told "Oh, actually it will arrive a WEEK from Wednesday... sorry about that. Gee, that seems like a long time..." If you have to ask who the patsy is... YOU are the patsy. Sadly, I don't have to ask that question as I already know the answer. Guilty as charged (or OVERcharged, as the case may be). Now I know why you pay double. You pay double for the valuable lesson you are learning. I will go straight to FedEx next time (10 Centerpointe Drive, right there off Kruse Way, by Oswego Grill). And if you need copies, these thieves charge $.25 per. 'Course that was a few years ago, probably more than that now. LO Library charges a dime per copy. Just sayin. There is a employee there named Paul who thinks he runs the place and is incredibly snotty, rude, condescending, and basically just a know at all. I've had encounters with him before. I made a complaint and talked to some gal at that Branch over the phone, and then I reached out to operations management which Jessica provided me with the email. After I told him my story he never ever ever responded. This is our postal service at work, you got to employee who most likely runs customers away, and an operations manager who doesn't return emails. This is why nobody wants to use USPS, they would rather use UPS and FedEx who are in my experience over the years the friendliest nicest people you could ever work with. I waited until the last minute to ship Christmas presents …read more.. After attempting to go to different Post Office locations with long lines out the door and no parking, I made a decision to drive by my local UPS store to assess the situation. They had parking which was my first green flag, and when I walked in, there was no line! I was in and out of there within 5 minutes and the price to ship UPS 2-3 days, was actually the same, if not a couple bucks cheaper than priority USPS! So happy I made the decision to come here.
