My experience at this post office varies. Sometimes there's no line so you're in and outta there in 5 mins, other times you can barely move with how many people are inside. If you have a prepaid label you can just go inside, drop off the box in the drop box area, and leave. If you're really paranoid about your package, you are free to wait in line to get a receipt. If you need them to weigh it you have no choice but to wait in line until its your turn. In most cases, someone steps out from behind the counter and uses a hand held device to speed up the process. They can also take your passport pictures here. I got my picture taken here though and I turned out orange in the picture. Im not sure if the person that took my picture was inexperienced or their camera really just sucks. Either way, this is your warning! Make sure you check what it looks like on their camera. Save your money and go elsewhere to send flat rate packages. I thought it would be fun to send a friend that lives on the other side of the Valley a care package of chips and candy and such. So I plan on sending a flat rate package. The price is 14.00 to send it across town. I didn't have tape because I do not mail much stuff and the charge was 3 extra dollars. Plus she wanted me to tape it up and go back in line..even though they have the tools to make it easy. It was literally just a roll of clear tape. At this point it was 17 dollars. I decided to leave and go to the ups store a block away. I am glad I did. It was 10 dollars. It would arrive the next day plus free tape and they taped it up. No fuss at all. I do not recommend this for sending a medium size package. read more

I've had great service here the multiples I have gone. The first time was to order a new mail key. The lady was super helpful and even gave me a pass to skip the line because I didn't have the exact documents right away. They mail key came in about a week and I was allowed to check for mail whenever I wanted. Pretty sure this is basic services, but it was hassle free. I also went to mail a heavy package out and the lady informed to just use 2 large flat rate boxes. This saved me about $25 dollars so I'm thankful for that. My one negative experience with them was actually with the mail carrier. But I know they work there because they've also helped me out while in line. Because I moved from the islands, I mailed everything over so I had about ten 50 pound packages and they all happened to come on the same day. The mail carrier didn't appreciate having to carry everything to the front door and said next time I should use UPS. Overall, great experiences here and have never had to wait longer than 5 minutes. WTF? I recently sold an item on eBay and came here to send the package. The staff placed it on the scale, weighed it, typed in the delivery address zip code, printed a sticker for postage and it was sent. All was fine until I got an email several days later that the post office on their end demanded $ for insufficient postage. First, if there's insufficient postage, return the damn package. Second, I physically went to this post office to mail the package, how is it possible that it's insufficient? So someone screwed up somewhere. And how could they hold the package as collateral until the insufficient funds are paid. WTF?? Oh, and when I moved to my place and requested to have the mailbox key re-keyed. It took this office 2 months to rekey the mailbox and issue me a key. I went back there 5 times to remind them, and they completely ignored me. Talk about bad service!!! read more

What can you say? It's the Post Office. I live right around the corner from this location, so I'm here on a semi-regular basis. I think its fair to put the Post Office in the same category as the DMV. That being said, I think some of these 1 star reviews are being a little harsh. If you come to the Post Office expecting 5 star service like you would expect at the Bellagio, than you are just plain nuckin' futz. The employees are marginally friendly, just don't ask too much of them. I can't say I've ever had a horrible experience with them at this location. There was this very annoying thing that happened yesterday though. I got home from work yesterday with a notice in my mailbox notifying me that I had a piece of mail with insufficient postage from "property management" and that I would need 0.46 to retrieve it. Okay. I go there to pick up the item thinking "Wow! My HOA has really gotten cheap". I wait in line and when it comes time to pick up the item, it ends up being one of those ads/flyers that go straight from my mailbox to the garbage can outside of the house. Ummmmm, whaaat?? You want me to pay 0.46 , waste my gas and time driving to the PO, and than wait in line for THIS??! I dunno what moron thought this was cute, but I wasn't amused. Rant aside, its the Post Office. This is the worst post office, I understand there's delays because of COVID-19 and keys are delayed but when I have things forwarded there it should be there! I think the Post Office on Pebble is the worst Post Office in Las Vegas. The manager Jennifer is unreachable. I called her office over 25 times, different time of the day. I went there more than 7 times, I asked all suppervisors to talk with her about my problem, also left written request for call back, but she never called me. How come Jennifer is never at work? This office do not deliver my mail. There is a post woman working there that makes my packages disappear. The supervisor told me that she scanned my package and gave it to the post woman, the package never has been delivered. If this post woman has to deliver my package most likely I won't receive it. I complained so many times about her, but the management do not care. USPS Corporate Office should keep track on customers complaints for each brunch and fix the problems. The asian mail carrier stole my package. He was distributing on pebble and Maryland parkway st. He had mail slot opened and distributing mail. And I gave him my package. Never heard from it again. US Post Office - Worst post office ever. - Post Offices Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

So for the most part, I don't use the post office in person unless I'm dropping off a large parcel - even then, I print my shipping labels online. I had an issue, however, where one of my shipped parcels was suppose to be shipped back to me for postage due but it was lost. And secondly, shortly thereafter, I was suppose to receive a parcel in my neighborhood parcel lockbox but there was no key left in my mailbox, which is the custom. I went to the station and inquired there - the lines weren't long and they were friendly, but they couldn't figure out where these packages were. However, they told me they would try to figure it out and would get back to me. And they did! In fact, the regular carrier herself - Stacey - called me and apologized for the two items not delivered, and they were on my doorstep the next day. Ignored two simultaneous Hold Mail requests for the same start/stop dates. Straightforward longstanding residential address. Period was much less than 30 day maximum. Set up both requests (same dates) by submitting the green USPS Hold Mail form, and by signing up with longstanding USPS account https://reg.usps.com/login. Home mailbox was found stuffed with letters upon early return. Nothing had been sent to requested "pick up on return" at the Post Office. read more

This location has also recently hired quite a few new staff members who have all been super nice and helpful. Picking up mail at this location is ABSOLUTE TORTURE!!! Our community mail box was vandalized and taking weeks to fix forcing us to pick up mail at the post office. I am not exaggerating when I say it takes an average of 19 minutes for each person in line to receive their package or mail. read more

FREE BOXES FOR PRIORITY SHIPPERS I do a lot of shipping and mailing at work. I make several visits to the Post Office in Walnut Creek every week. After stopping at one Post Office that was closed for lunch, we made our way here to send a package of our stuff, back home to us. This post office had everything we needed to get our treasures home. Well, they didn't have the sticker label for addressing like I usually use, but it's probably less wasteful to just write on the box anyhow. So that's exactly what I did. While in line, I helped an elderly woman fill out a certified mailing order with return receipt. These can be confusing if you don't use them all of the time. She appreciated the help and when I was done it was my turn to pay. The employee took the flat rate charge (approx. $12) and our package was home safely in two days. This Post Office was near the airport which made it convenient for my wife and I before we flew back to Cali. All we needed to do was grab a flat rate box and ship it out. We went inside grabbed the box which was easily acceptable and went out to the car to load it up. I love that if it fits it ships, and we made it fit. After we made it back inside we were waiting in line when when a nice old lady needed help with a piece of registered mail. Since all the employees were busy my wife who works in a law office helped her out. While my wife was helping that lady, an employee asked me if I wanted to use the self checkout computer and I looked over and there was a lady using it. I forgot to say that I was next in line. So I asked the employee, isn't someone using it, and she said no I can help you. So I don't know why but I believed her and we walked over there and she said ok just wait behind this lady. I then asked why would I want to wait when I was next in line so I walked back and the girl that was behind be was being asked to come up to the counter. All I could do was laugh and I took my spot back in line and was then helped by a very nice gentlemen who got me out the door very quickly. This is the worst postal service in the United States, especially this office. I am constantly getting other peoples' mail. I've been to the post office at least ten times in the last few years to complain. Just yesterday, I got two pieces of mail that was not mine. I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I've been having a P.O box here for about a year and 6 month for my home based business. Every time I walk in to start my beautiful punctual day I'm always greeted by rude postal workers mainly a lady (18 piece two done hair) and a main (bald middle of head with small lump on top salt n Pepa hair) I ask to get simple task done and they are always rebellious of having to get it done. Not only are the big lines during the afternoon not accommodated for, the manager their is not trained correctly. When asking him for information on whether or not I could use a priority mailbox for sending an item, I asked if my label produced could be used with these boxes. He said no that the boxes here must be used to send items your self and not with prepaid labels. After calling the company my self they told me otherwise. Now I am required to go back to USPS due to the lack of general knowledge managers should require. For example if you are reading this, keep in mind that some third party companies that give you prepaid labels to send items do in fact work with these boxes. Just make sure they are priority mail flat rate. Hope this review helps any customers in need. read more

I have had a good experience at this Post Office every time I have been there. I had to go mail four packages by Media Mail rate this morning. I got there at about 11 with my toddler. (A random customer helped me carry my packages inside, which was super nice! Not a reflection on the actual Post Office, of course.) I waited in line for less than 10 minutes. Holy shit this place sucks! I went in to get a new set of keys for my mailbox. The lady said utility bills weren't sufficient enough to get new ones made. She said I need the title to my house. I let her know my house is only 3 years old and that I was the only person who ever lived there and the only person who has ever had keys issued to the mailbox so I it should already be on file right? Like many others, I am experiencing the same frustration with packages -tracking states they were delivered and have not been/saying a notice was left and was not. In one month I have had a package shipped back to NY with claims that a notice was left; it was not and I was home that week after major surgery. I had another book, shipped by an Amazon seller and that too was shown as delivered. A broken key to one of the larger boxes at in my development was left in my box. In that larger box was a piece of the key and another broken key left in the box but no package. Lastly, 2 weeks ago a neighbor came to my door with a package of mine that had been left in his box. This is unacceptable and filing a claim is useless because they just respond with "the package has been delivered". Must be nice to work for this post office and have no repercussions for missing (stolen) items. I will be filing a claim with the inspector general. read more

The absolute worst post office and delivery drivers ever. If a package is coming from USPS the postman doesn't even try to deliver to my door or to the office in my complex. They leave a notice in my mailbox that there's "no secure location" telling me I have to go to the post office to pick up my package. They need new drivers as the ones they have are lazy.
