Majority of the people I've encountered have been rude. I got there about 30 min before closing needing to resubmit papers that they lost and the lady at the counter asked her supervisor for help and she said "you do realize we almost closing right?" And walked away without helping us. Every time I need to go to the window to pick up my packages it has always taken almost an hour with only several people online. I don't understand how it takes this long. I also have been back THREE times to submit papers that say are missing from my account and they still haven't been submitted on their end. I don't come here too often but when I do, it's usually just to drop off a package. I usually go onto their website and pay and print my postage that way I don't have to wait in line. And you do get a very small discount by printing a label with postage at home. The few times that I did have to wait in line, it wasn't too bad, and the staff was nice and friendly. I like that their lobby is open 24 hours, so you can go in and use their automated postal service instead of waiting for their counters to open at 8:30. read more

I've lived in this area approximately 6+ years and I've used the kiosk at this post office many times. I love the efficiency and ease of use. However in the past two weeks I've had to go inside three times and interact with the USPS staff. Goodness! Many of them are doing their job, that isn't necessarily the issue. First thing is most of them seem miserable. I mean these people all seem so genuinely unhappy. The next is that on every one of my most recent three interactions, a customer was unhappy and/or frustrated. All three issues were different, but all three customers complained that someone else used to let them do this or someone else told them the could... It just seems like some of the people enjoy saying no. Almost everyone I interacted with was slightly rude or at the least very abrupt. Two of the young guys working in the back to get your packages are both very nice. Although the woman working back there was very unfriendly. I liked this post office until today. This is the closest post office to my home since I live in Southern Highlands. Two days ago I sold an item & went to this location to ship it. I have my 9 month old in my arms and the nice gentlemen at the end assembled the box & taped the label since he could clearly see that I had my hands full. He kept a smile on his face the entire time and was super polite. I go in today to ship something & don't even get greeted by the woman who ends up helping me... Or not helping me. She quickly had a horrible attitude when I set the box, my item, & the label on the counter. She rolled her eyes when she realized that it was a paper label and would need to be taped. She told me I would have to assemble to box away from her section, BUY tape, and then go back through the line. I politely told her that the gentlemen two stations down helped me last time and definitely didn't make me buy tape. She quickly said, "Well, I don't have tape here." That same sweet gentleman offered to bring tape to her & she declined. So wait..... Someone is WILLING to be nice and hospitable and you say no? I asked her nicely to please help me out that I was on my way out of town & she told me that I'd have to wait in line again and see if I got someone different. Look lady, I get it. It's Friday & you're counting down the hours before You get to walk out that door and go play Bingo, but for the love of God, if you can't at least put a smile on your face... Go away. Retire. Had my mail box broken in to back in February. Have to go pick up my mail every week only to stand in line for over 30 minutes everything at the window lineandthat is if it's open. I feel that this post office can improve their services and retrain some of their delivery postman. There's times where I get mail that doesn't belong to me in my stacks of mail and at times I feel that my some pieces of my mail go to other people's mailbox. There are also times where I expect some parcels to be delivered to my address, but doesn't get to me on the time that it needs to be at my address. Seriously this place is awful! Super long lines with only one person working. That one employee has no sense of urgency and looks like he hates life. They have "lost" 3 packages I had sent to my mom, but I'm sure someone took it. So now I must wait in the mile-long line to pay extra for a tracking number so things won't get "lost." This branch is a hit or miss when it comes to customer service. There are some cases where the employees have been short with me and then there are some occasions where they bend over backwards. Overall, they are pleasant enough and get me in and out in a timely manner. They are reasonable with the speed in which they turn people. It is busy for being such a small branch. I'd probably rather spend a Saturday burning in eternal hellfire than spending one here to mail a package to grandma. A few weeks back I went to the DMV to register my car, then I came to this Post Office to pick up a package. Guess which one took longer? Not an exaggeration. During that time I saw 3 people scolded for wandering up to the counter to try to ask simple questions without trying to wait in the 3 hour line. They even recently taped printed out 8.5 x 11 sheets of paper in front of every station that warns people not to talk to the employees during a transaction. It's how I imagine a post office run by Stalin would be, except not as personable. They have a window for pickups vs mailing things out. I don't think it's been open since the George Bush administration. It's funny when some poor soul wanders in wanting to just pick up something they werent home for and probably took part of their day off since this location also happens to have the worst opening/closing times imaginable. Well, it's funny until it's sad, which is immediately afterwards. Opens late and closes early. Thanks for the inconvenience. It's amazing some of the employees have jobs at all let alone ones that you'd think customer service was important. Some of them display that perfect level of non-caring combined with a slow paced walk that I almost want to give them a round of applause with each customer that walks away serviced from their station. Some of them do try and actually go out of their way to be fast and courteous, but they're usually the ones that end up alone at 8:30 in the morning with a line out the door and the rest of the employees off "sick" or on vacation. I've seen this happen nearly every Monday morning I've braved coming to this location. ONLY GO HERE IF YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY FORCED TO. The hours at this location are just about as terrible as possible for me (M-F 8:30am-5:00pm). The Seven Hills location is open 9:00am-5:30pm which would at least allow for a few more people like me to be able to stop by after work. I don't understand why they don't just open 9:30am to 6:00pm or something. The way it's set up now just forces this location to have a HUGE weekday lunchtime rush. Today during the weekday lunchtime rush there was ONE person working at the counter. ONE. Ridiculous. Usually it's only understaffed by having two employees at the counter (which is still about two less than they should have working). To make things worse, the kiosk was broken today. Although, even when it is working it doesn't help the lines much (more of a commentary on the customers than the business though). The employees are rude and unprofessional. I cannot give zero since 1 is the lowest. I shipped and insured an electronic item and the f#*%ing mailman broke it unbelievable! I filed a claim and was denied saying i exceeded my time limit to respond . Here's the thing the idiot mailman put my letter to my neighbors mailbox who went on vacation . When they got back they handed me the letter and i immediately went to USPS and just got denied since i missed the timeframe. F@$&ing scumbags !!! This is the 2nd time since i had one where the mailman delivered the box and put the key on a wrong mailbox and someone took my package and again denied on my claim . This is by far the most inefficient post office I've ever been to. I will be waiting in package pick up for well over 30 minutes when there is only one person getting packages. The same time there will be three people at the other counter with no customers in line. They do not bother to help out in the package pick up line. We get a lame story of how supervisor has not given them instructions on what to do. I moved into a condo about one mile from this P.O., I made sure everyone had my new address since you cannot rely on the USPS to forward anything. These idiots stamped "return to sender" on all my mail, pay checks included and returned everything back to sender. I have retreived several pieces, they are addressed perfectly. I've been here five weeks now and not even a piece of junk mail yet. Yesterday I opened my locked mailbox and found a package cut open and empty. It was delivered this way. There was no damaged note with it. I brought it to my closest post office (this location) and had little hope of getting my items. After speaking with a friendly manager there, and describing my items to him, he remembers seeing them!! He said sometimes the machine can rip a package open. I was so grateful when he walked back upfront with my two lost items. He saved Christmas for me. I just wanted to say thanks to the management team there again! This is the closest post office to me, or I would avoid coming here forever. Today an employee by the name of Mercedes was EXTREMELY rude, unprofessional, and down right NASTY to a lobby full of customers. She yelled at us to "get out" because there were over 10 people in the store. We slowly started to move our line, but she decided we were not fast enough, stopped working, and came over to aggressively get in people's faces to further yell. Her words "Get out of my damn post office or you can go to another post office if you don't like it!" Had us all in shock. When asked her name her response was "Its Mercedes, can you spell it? Now, get out." What a HORRIBLE representation of this center she is. Many customers in line commented that they have been treated nasty by the very same lady on more than one visit. WHY IS SHE ALLOWED TO CONTINUE ABUSING AND VERBALLY ASSAULTING CUSTOMERS!? I'm a front line employee too, and while I do understand we are in a stressful time in this country, it does NOT excuse her behavior or talking to people the way she did today. This place is awfully. Global Warming is faster. This is fifth time at this location and it keeps getting worse. It does not matter what time of the day. The speed of service is the same - glacial. I have never written a review in my life - until today. This location prompted me to action. I feel it is my duty to warn others. I use to think that snail-paced, apathetic postal employees were an urban legend. The service I experienced in both Denver and Tampa was outstanding. There if a postal employee saw a line forming they would call their co-workers for help. Here, if these people see a line and they run to the back. Or they have conversations in front of you, pretending that customers do not exist. Find another location or try Stamps.com. I signed up on-line, while waiting in line. After this experience, I plan to do as much business as possible on-line. The Internet has not ruined the USPS business, their slow service and indifferent attitude is what has killed their business. I understand that they will stop delivering on Saturdays, the retail locations are closing and rates are going up. Less service for more money. An African American lady working at the post office named Marjorie called me to the front, she kept on rolling her eyes at me. She screamed at me in front of everyone and kept on questioning me if I was sick. She said we don't want you here if you're sick. She tried to excuse her negative behavior/attitude towards me by saying that she didn't want her family to get sick. I have been here a few times and stood in line. Never had an issue with one of the workers. But, generally I always hit the self serve atm machine thing. It's quick and easy. There is a drive through drop off mail bin on the Bermuda side of the building. I never use it, seen cars camped out there after hours, so I just go inside and drop mail there. And, use the kiosk if I don't have postage. 3 stars because I'm eh it's a post office and can't speak to how the staff is, but when I am here I just use the automated things so it's efficient and easy in and out. read more

The lady didnt even bother checking my article number and told me to come back to tomorrow because she assume its still on the truck from the morning. I later found out in my tracking history that my package already arrived back at the Usps location at 3pm and ready for pickup in that same day. Waiting in line of about 10 people, it's 15 minutes till closing time and there is two windows open for helping out the customers in line, until now, they shut one down putting up a window closed sign!!!! Seriously!!! It's only 15 more minutes till closing time!! You couldn't have waited! And it's sooooo hot on here. There is one helpful lady in here working down the line trying to help people out. But leaving open the second window would've helped us in a tremendous way. I hope a supervisor reads this ....I first went to the self mailing station, put my package on the scale and went to print the postage, the price was $4.95 for regular first class, I went to get my debit card, then realizing I forgot it at home. So I head over to the line and wait, once I get to the window to pay, the price is now $6.95 for the same first class!!!!!!! So I waited 15 minutes in line to pay $2.00 more to use cash!!!!! I know going to any post office is a pain, but that is rarely the case for me whenever I go to this location. This post office tends to be busy while it is "open" more often than not, but there is always one or two parking spaces available so I can park. As soon as I enter, there is a long line for the counters with employees behind them, but fortunately, I rarely have to deal with that line. Most of my business at a post office is either picking up mail at the PO box, waiting in the much shorter line to pick up a large package at the half door, dropping off letters inside, or using the machine to print postage labels so I can easily drop off my large packages to the left of the machine. Because my business rarely needs a live employee, I never have to worry about what time it is because this post office is "open" 24-7 if I don't have to go to the counter with the live employees. I deal with the machine if I need to or I drop off mail in the slots. In and out of the post office any time during the day or night and I like that flexibility. read more
