I honestly haven't mailed a package through the post office in Years. (We usually just go to the 24 hour fed ex store because I don't often get a chance to run errands during "normal business hours") We were greeted at the door by a short older lady who was very helpful in getting us the info we needed at the beginning. We sorted all of our things and used the machine to print postage. The label wasn't going to fit in the exact place that the machine said to put it so we wanted to make sure that placing it somewhere else would be ok. Some other lady came out and screamed rudely at us "Just put it RIGHT THERE!!! How HARD is THAT?!?!?" And then she scoffed at us and wandered off. I do not see how it is Ever appropriate to speak to a customer in that manner. It was completely uncalled for. The first woman quickly came back & looked at us somewhat apologetically as she gestured to the drop box where we should drop the package. I wish there was a star for Zero, the post office at 6210 N Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89130 has got to have the worst customer service ever. I am trying to have a friend go to this post office, speak to maintenance and have her mail box re keyed being a new owner at a community this post office delivers too. Twice she went and twice she was informed her HOA handles the re keying, NO they do not. Years ago, it took almost 2 years for maintenance to install a new box in another gated community, it got done when the last option was calling Channel 13, even Consumer Affairs located on Sunset Rd did nothing. I agree with another review, the lazy people that work in this facility certainly do lack respect and courtesy. Absolutely the worst post office around. My office is nearby so I've put up with the long lines and slow employees for years. But today absolutely upset me. The woman with the curly blonde hair is extremely rude and discriminatory. I never thought I would say this about another person but she needs to be let go of NOW! I went in for a passport renewal and stood in line at the passport window. There is someone in front of me who was also doing a passport renewal and she helped that person. When it came to my turn, she gave me this ugly look up and down. I was wearing office attire since I made a quick run to the post office from my office. Then she told me I needed to sign in to the clipboard while she helped another customer from another line not related to passports. No problem, I signed in. Then she asked a man on line 7 who is helping customers with regular mail to help me with my passport application. He said sure. Then she looked at me up and down, asked me if I filled out my application. I said yes, everything is filled out and I already have a check ready. Then she gave me an priority envelope and told me for passport renewal, I need to stand in the regular line. I looked at the window and I said, "Isn't this for passports?". She said not for passport renewal. She just wanted to cause me trouble. The regular line is out the door and will take at least an hour from my years of experience coming to this post office. I smiled at her, took the envelope and walked straight out the door. I don't have time to argue with you. I just want to renew my passport. Why do you go through all this trouble to give me a hard time is beyond my comprehension. Aside from the fact that you have nothing better to do. There is a new post office in the Greenland across the street. They are fast and efficient and the line moves fast. The man and lady there are both super nice. I drove across the street and they got it done in a few minutes! read more

I have never been to such terrible post offices since I've moved to Las Vegas. This is not at all an exaggeration either. There are two offices that I've been to, this one is 15 minutes from my house..the other is 10 minutes.. I'm in Summerlin (south) Any time of the day I've gone, there is no less than a 20-25 minute wait. And this visit, I WISH I had only waited that long. I arrived about 2:45 and there were three workers on the desk. As soon as they were done helping the customers they were with at my arrival, two workers closed their windows. I was stuck waiting 50 MINUTES. This is ridiculous. Clearly this town needs another post office and/or more postal workers. I understand there is competition with UPS, etc., but my time is way too valuable to wait for this kind of service. Next time the parking lot is a cluster, I'll skip by and ship my package at a UPS store for a couple bucks more. What irritated me further, was when a male worker came out and advised people to use the kiosk..after he said his thing, he was chatting for a few minutes with the lady behind me.. Instead of meaningless convo, get behind the desk and help! Sheesh! The one positive thing I will say is the gal that helped me was beyond friendly..I would have been PO'd if I were her. Do NOT rent out a PO box here! I rented one for 6 months and have had nothing but issues from the start. Packages are constantly going missing or stolen by staff, which completely defeats the purpose of spending money on renting a box. I've had packages delivered here with tracking numbers, the staff tells me that they cant find the package and that they can't use the *valid* tracking number that I provide them. I've been waiting 3 weeks for one of my packages, and have gone every single day to check if they've found it. Every person I speak to has a different answer: either the package never arrived even though the tracking number says the date and time it was delivered, or they'll tell me to come back with a new tracking number, or they'll tell me they're still sorting through their packages, or they'll tell me to come back the next day. This happens with almost every single one of my packages without fail. No one ever offers to help or gives me a solution, they just give me a fake answer and tell me to come back the next day. The amount of packages they've lost is ridiculous, to the point where I believe the staff are the ones responsible for stealing. I should be refunded for my PO box because they can't even be trusted, and my packages don't make it to me anyways!! I am now fighting to receive refunds for my items, the companies dont want to refund me because the tracking numbers show that the packages were delivered and signed by the post office, but the post office claims they don't have it. Not to mention the lines to pick up packages are SLOW and go out the door! This place is very unpleasant and I cant wait until my six month lease is over. Do NOT go here!! read more

Helpless, rude and very slow staff. To ship anything from here is a nightmare. They do not even know what they are doing. I have been trying to ship from here many times and ended up using other USPS stores, where it was faster, easier and cheaper for the same package. read more

I come here for no other reason that it is convenient for me. The machine in the lobby is great when it works. But on more than one time it does not spit out stamps. Like what happened to me yesterday. I hope I can at the very least get my 2 stamps that I purchased and I heard the machine print them up but they didn't get spit out. It was less than $3 but it is the point and yesterday was the last straw. read more

I sent an official absentee ballot in an official envelope provided by the Clark County Registrar of Voters in Las Vegas. It was returned twice. It has all required official notices of free delivery printed on the envelope and all the necessary bar codes to ensure payment and delivery of the official absentee ballot by the CLARK COUNTY REGISTRAR OF VOTERS. I called the CLARK COUNTY REGISTRAR OF VOTERS. They agreed to my suggestion that I post it in a plain envelope with stamps and the same address and we "hope" that it is mailed to the CLARK COUNTY REGISTRAR OF VOTERS. read more
