I've been going to this post office a year now and they've lost 2 packages that said "delivered" on the tracking search. They've mistakingly put 3 OTHER peoples packages in my PO Box, so it's easy to surmize that someone else has my packages. The most recent package being this week of 5/7/14. I was nice enough to return the mistaken packages to the PO Box clerks, but other people may not be so nice. All because of the irresponsible work habits of this particular post office. I'll bet they get their mail right! Follow Up 7/18/14: Since I discussed these problems with the Post Office Manager, my mail has been coming in. I haven't received anyone elses packages. I believe they hired a new person to manage the post office boxes. I'll give them credit if they deserve it. So far, so good. No problems for a while and that's a good thing. So, I'll add another star. read more

Oh my gosh. They had two tellers, and a third one came up to me and another woman with a check sheet to lay out what services we wanted. Both me and the other customer commented that if she got behind the counter and helped out we would already bw done. Is it no wonder the post office is broke and going out of business!! read more

This Post Office really needs to get it together. They frequently have one person on the register, despite a long line. This Wednesday, I waited in line for over 15 minutes while the single clerk helped an elderly gentleman pack up a gift in a cardboard box and ship it. Any other Post Office would have had him step to the side, pack his own box, and then rejoin the line when he was done. The relief clerk then spent 10 minutes setting up the "stamps" kiosk and waiting to get change before helping anyone. At least three other employees made an appearance from the back of the shop, without manning one of the empty registers or helping this woman with her change situation. Finally, a person came out to be a "lobby clerk" and take everyone's order on a piece of paper akin to the drive through line at In-n-Out when it gets out of hand. Not quite sure what that accomplished, but it made people feel better. read more

This post office is awful! Almost always there is only 1 person working the counter. So slow! Even in the morning when they open they only have one, maybe two people. Incredible slow! read more

I almost didn't post about this location because I wanted to keep this gem to myself, but they really deserve the 5 stars. I always am helped quickly and they always patiently answer the questions I have. They are very kind and patient with the oldies too. Two thumbs up! read more

Not much has changed since my prior reviews. I own a couple of businesses and have a post office box so that I can collect my mail in the morning and at the end of the day. Unfortunately, the lobby hours have been cut back so severely that I cannot collect my mail during normal business hours as the mail is not into our boxes until after 11:00 AM on most days and the lobby hours are closed after 6:00 PM on weekdays and the lobby is closed from Saturday at 5:00 PM on Saturday and is not open again until Monday morning. The Post Master, named Rocky, is so bad that even though the Counter window hours from Monday to Friday are open until 5:30 PM, she has told the staff not to collect the mail that is dropped into the Lobby mail slot any time after 5:00 PM because that is what is labeled above the slots. After speaking with Rocky, she seems to pride herself upon her bureaucratic lack of service. Additionally, Rocky has taken away two of the best parking spaced that precede the main parking lot so that the employees and Mail Trucks who are too lazy to enter or exit on the north side of the Post Office, can screw up patrons who attempt to enter into the parking lots. I have brought this to the attention of Rocky over a year ago and she said it was a temporary situation because they had no security on the north entrance. This is just another example of Rocky's disgraceful management. Hopefully, the former Post Master from Cerritos will apply for Rocky's "job" soon, PLEASE. Again, some of the counter staff is efficient and helpful, however, the counter is so understaffed at peak hours, or holidays, that it is a waste of our time to go there between 4:00 PM until 5:30 PM. read more

Wish I could give it zero stars. Both my mother and sister had not one, but two horrible experiences here. They got charged for a medium flat rate when the box they had (from them) clearly stated 'small flat rate box', they charged them for items not purchased, my sister had an address for her shipment but the lady wanted it on a label and wanted to charge her if she printed it, my sister experienced a customer in front of her asking for a small piece of tape and the employee ignoring her and finally agreeing to "sell" her the tape. The list goes on and on and on (and only four visits) Never been there and based on their experiences, never will be. I used to go to the one in Hawaiian Gardens but that one no longer exists. I now use the one by my job in Bellflower... excellent!!! read more

The manager and employees take no responsibility for crappy service provided by the post office. They are unhelpful and useless. The manager actually referred me to a phone number that was disconnected! This is the OPPOSITE of good public relations. This is why the Post Service is doomed to become extinct. read more

I have a PO Box here, and they are constantly changing the hours for the lobby! Now, I have to go there at five in the morning if I want to check my PO Box on a day that I work. But, this morning, I sat there and waited until 20 minutes after they were supposed to be open and the door was still locked! They never answer their phone, the phone number that is listed here on yelp actually doesn't work anymore, and they do not help anyone more than the minimum of what is expected. They're lucky that they work for the only mail carrier we can use. read more

They won't post mark your mail here. At all. But they will sell you a certified delivery for an additional fee on top of the postage.

Not sure why the negative review. Been coming here for decades and -- like every other post office -- is busy at the times you'd expect. And like most, for the most part, the staff is perfunctory -- and that's fine. They don't have to be friendly; they need to do their jobs. And they do. And quite quickly every time I've been there. They do what they can when someone doesn't have the right packaging or zip code or form or enough postage or is just there to pick up stamps -- often they pull folks outta line if they're just getting stamps or picking up a package or having trouble with a PO box. And I'll bet, no matter the transaction, if you smile and say "hi" first, they'll smile right back. Ask things nicely and say "please" and "thank you" and you might have a decent conversation AND get an errand done. read more

This place deserves zero stars. I have had countless packages stolen from this location. The post master there (rocky) is very rude and has attitude. They tried to blame stolen packages on getting stolen outside the facility in the drop boxes. However, this is an internal issue. Someone who works there steals them. My company alone does distribution and never leaves them in those drop boxes we are in the thousands of dollars in theft from this facility. The staff here seems to think they are above the law and could care less about anything besides clocking in and out. I highly recommend not using this post office for any mail whatsoever! read more

All these poor reviews do not surprise me at all. Its a place to avoid for walk in as they are so slow and unfriendly. My mail was on hold for two weeks while out of town. One day I got an alert from my security camera and here the postman delivers my mail and throws a package of medicines on porch. Fortunately I was able to get the post office on the phone and they sent someone out to recover the package. When I returned my mail as to be delivered on a Thursday. AS far as my security camera and observation there was no may delivered on my street on either Thursday or Friday. Saturday a temporary postman show up with my box of mail. read more

We have a couple of wonderful mail carriers here at Klein Manor; however, this past week, we've had packages OBVIOUSLY holding medications just dumped on a shelf rather than placed securely in our mailboxes, then today, I watched him as he sat in his truck in our lot pouring water over the interior floor of his vehicle then toss the empty bottle onto the ground! Never have I seen this kind of disrespect not only for OUR building, but also for HIS employer, the USPS. Absolutely unacceptable. read more

Worst postal office ever!!!!! The mailmen constantly misplace mine and other residents mail in my condo building, and when I spoke to the "manager" he never followed up with me! I, alongside many other people have very important packages and they cannot just carelessly and constantly lose our mail!!! not the first time either !! and when you go to the website to make a claim, the link go to an invalid page. This post office is nice because it's kinda hidden so its location is pretty much for the locals. The employees are really nice, but some times they take a long time helping customers (ahem... shong h, hahaha). My only complaint is that whenever I request mail to be put on hold while I'm on vacation, the mail gets messed up. I request that they deliver the mail to me the day I get back, but this has yet to happen. I end up having to go in to the post office to pick up my stack of mail. Still, this is a great post office because there's almost never a problem with lines or parking. read more

ABSOLUTE WORST post office in the state. 3rd time calling to complain about mis-deliveries, no deliveries & mail being thrown in the trash by the mail carrier.. which was CAUGHT ON VIDEO!! Spoke to Supervisor Keith (refused to give his last name) who basically said it wasn't his carriers, and there was nothing he could do. This is the closest post office to my house so I have no choice but to go here. My main gripe is that there isn't a drive up drop off mail box anymore. That was the best thing about this post office and now it's gone. It's inconvenient to have to park and get off just to drop off letters. Once inside, be patient because the line moves slowly. The ladies who work there are nice enough but clearly English isn't their first language so I think it slows things down a bit trying to communicate. read more

PO Boxes here are a nightmare. They never leave your large packages in those lockers so you can grab your stuff after hours. Complained several times to manager, he kept telling me yes it's no problem, but they still do it. Instead they insist on leaving a yellow pick up notice in your box forcing you to get there during their open hours which are usually when most people are at work. They have tons of oversized lockers they could use to make it easier on customers. If you plan on getting a PO Box, look elsewhere. read more

I have been coming to this post office for more than five years. I give this post office ten stars if I could especially considering all the budget cuts which dwindled their staff, they are always courteous, pleasant to deal with and efficient. When there is a long line, to expedite the process, often times they will have an employee out answering questions and explaining what forms a person may need to fill-in while waiting in line. It gets a bit crazy around the holidays, just like any business establishment, there is a wait in line. They also have an automated system in the lobby that is very intuitive to use. I have been there at different times of the day, and it always felt safe to go there after hours to drop letters. read more

This place CAN drive you crazy~ They were really mean when I went in with my service dog and told me to GET OUT! I have a PO Box there! They have a sign about service dogs that is OUTDATED!!! You have to be BLIND! lol!! LONG HELLACIOUS lines form there because the staff is so S L O W. If the clerk is having an enjoyable chit chat with a customer, the rest WAIT & WAIT & WAIT!!! I paid for a key and had to wait for it. When I went back to get it, I was told to look up the transaction on my bank records and prove it! WHO GOT MY MONEY? I sure didn't get my key....and it was one of the older Asian ladies who speaks poor English. They have a corner on employment here. I try to go off hours to avoid the unpleasantries. The experience is never consistent. You might get lucky! lol...and they keep raising the cost of having a post ofice box there. Mine started at $28 and last time it was over $40. HORIBBLE!! the substitute mail carrier bams on the door like a maniac (if he knocks at all), and throws your packages at the front door like a frisbee. Often places mail in the wrong inbox and acts as if he has done nothing wrong. He needs to be reminded that THIS IS HIS JOB!!! I don't know what he thought his job consist of when he applied and went on an interview. Bottom line conduct yourself professionally and do your job correctly, or look for another job! Before I would've given this place one star but the last time i was there the line was long but moved quickly because they had 2 ladies working the counter and one lady going down the line asking what services you needed and writing them down on paper to make the ladies jobs at the counter much easier. Kinda like a drive thru lol. This process seemed to work better. The service was attrocious here before and mailing a package took forever. This time I think it only took me about 10 minutes to mail a package and pick up some stamps for work. read more

If you come in the morning, lines will be shorter. Anytime after about 10 or 11, there will be a line. And of course, Monday's will be busy all day. The wait time can be long but in my experiences, the employees are friendly and can explain things easily. I have witnessed several arguments here over USPS policies, but the employees are just do their jobs. read more

I've called the number listed at USPS and it rings for 2 minutes, then goes to busy signal. PICK UP THE DAMN PHONE!!!
