If you come in the morning, lines will be shorter. Anytime after about 10 or 11, there will be a line. And of course, Monday's will be busy all day. The wait time can be long but in my experiences, the employees are friendly and can explain things easily. HORIBBLE!! the substitute mail carrier bams on the door like a maniac (if he knocks at all), and throws your packages at the front door like a frisbee. Often places mail in the wrong inbox and acts as if he has done nothing wrong. He needs to be reminded that THIS IS HIS JOB!!! I don't know what he thought his job consist of when he applied and went on an interview. Bottom line conduct yourself professionally and do your job correctly, or look for another job! The workers at this post office were really a pleasure to interact with. They even supplied the tape and scissors for the box i wanted to mail. No lines usually and like other reviews said- tucked out of the way so not alot of traffic esp on weekends. read more

I've called the number listed at USPS and it rings for 2 minutes, then goes to busy signal. PICK UP THE DAMN PHONE!!!

I called regarding my Driver license not being received 2 times i know that this is the post office that delivers to my home and i got no help what so ever regarding helping find my very important piece of mail. The person that helped me said without no tracking number there is no way of knowing where it is.. Address is correct this post office lost my mail 2 times already or mail man working doesn't know how to read the address and is delivering to wrong home.. read more

Like others have noted, this post office needs more staff. There are only two people working here at 2:30pm during the Holiday season. Huge lines and I saw someone leave. read more

I had a P.O. box at this post office and have nothing but problems from the start. Worst customer service ever, they claim they don't have my packages when I go to pick them up after receiving confirmation from the tracking email. They constantly threaten to send my mail back to the sender if I don't pick up my mail everyday. I guess the days of good customer service doesn't matter nor does job security. No matter what time I come there is always a long line with at least 7 people. Slow service, and only 2-3 people max working the counter. I am writing this post as I wait in line. This post office is comprised of employees that have officially mentally checked out. Almost everyone that I've seen working there have been at that location for as long as I can remember (10 years or so) and when I've asked about my PO Box, I give them the number and they always ask me " are you sure that's the right number?" Or something along those lines and eventually find the mail or package associated with my box. To top it off when i got my over flow of mail when i had to leave temporarily for the military a gentleman came out and spoke to me about how I need to let them know I was active military, as if they were my parents or my employer. But wait! it gets better. He's in a leg cast in civilian attire and at this point I'm assuming he's the manager (because he has my mail behind the counter). I'm glad he's setting the standard for his employees to just show up to work in whatever they feel like. I wish I could show up to work and brief my battalion commander in my "Sponge Bob" T-shirt and American flag parachute pants. How the hell do you work somewhere for that many years and still can barley do your job. Do yourself a favor and do business at another post office if you can help it. read more

Does anyone in So Cal need a new PASSPORT? If so, I would recommend going to the Buena Park Library. They no longer do passports at this location. We originally went to the Main General Mail Facility Post Office in Long Beach at 8:30am, but they had a 3 hour wait! We then went to the Westminster Post Office at 9am, but they had a 2 - 3 hour wait! We then decided to go to the Buena Park Library 714-826-4100. They open at 12 noon on Saturdays, but we decided to go early and wait. We got there at 10:45am, and they were already open for business. There was only 1 family in front of us to check in. The family had to fill out their paperwork, so we were next up. After checking in, we talked to the Supervisor about our adventure in Long Beach and Westminster. After about 5 minutes, the passport processing agent was ready for us. We spent about another 5 minutes answering questions and signing documents, and we were done! So amazing! I would give this place ZERO starts, if it were an option! How does a package go from "out for delivery" in Los Alamitos to then being in Paramount, to LA then back to Los Alamitos!?! Then when I go into the Post Office to find said package, the guy at the desk is rude and arguing with me that my package did not go to Paramount and LA!? Excuse me, scroll down further sir!! After he finally realized I was right he told me he cannot do anything and I will have to come back or wait for my page to be delivered over the weekend, which is not an option considering it was being mailed to a business!! He would not go look for the package, would not bring over a manager, only solution was to wait for something that was supposed to be delivered already! And somehow this was all still my fault... the USPS driver or the fact that my package ended up in another city, was of no fault to USPS!?! Try again!!
