These reviews speak for themselves. This is my third package that has been scanned as "Delivered," only for me to go outside minutes later and find that it's already gone. Even my regular mail carrier has acknowledged that this is highly unusual for my neighborhood. Situations like this are ruining the reputation of what has always been a safe and trustworthy community. The final straw was when two separate items were marked as delivered at the same time, but when I went to retrieve them, only one package was actually there. I reported everything to the supervisor, Christopher, but nothing was done. Instead, he simply insisted the missing package had been delivered--as if he had personally witnessed it. I never imagined I would have to write a review accusing a USPS location of such poor accountability, but here we are. I've never had a single package go missing with UPS, FedEx, or Amazon--only with this USPS location. If you have no choice but to use this post office, I strongly recommend insuring your packages and monitoring deliveries closely. It's disappointing to have lost confidence in a federal service that should be reliable and accountable. They have lost their values. read more

The reviews don't lie, they like Shakira's hips. I can't pretend this location is great when it isn't. If you've been to one snail mail shop, you've been to them all. The differentiators are usually if they have good parking options (the answer here is YES, a lot that you can usually snag a spot in but just make sure to exit at the stoplight instead of getting caught in the Grove's traffic's crosshairs) and the humans working there. Goooooooodness this post office disappoints on the staff. I see staff not respond to customers' as they ask questions while they chat to each other between the windows. I experience the same half the time, just no response. My friend went in to bring mail from a past resident & they just grabbed it and cut him off not letting him finish a sentence. The line gets sooooo long sometimes and I'm sure the crabby staff doesn't leave anyone feeling good about their experience here. The Post Office is open 930am-5pm every day but Sunday if you need teller assistance, but the lobby opens at 6am each day! And the good news is the self service kiosk and a drop box for packages both reside in that lobby. That's all I need 99% of the time I pop into the post office so lucky me. One day when I went the Drop Off Box was closed though so it can't always be counted on! The next day it was back open though so all was well in my world. I was so happy they fixed it so quickly. For dropping things off, this post office works well for me. However, It's weirdly the most unfriendly post office and that's such a shame if you need to interact with the staff. read more

Really poor experience that furthers the image so many have of lazy and ineffective local government. Arrived for my 10:00 appointment at 9:45. No agent showed up for the person with the 9:45 appointment until 10:05 am as a line developed. I was not helped until 10:55, and the clerk was misinformed over the amount of payment for a three-day passport expedite. When I was adamant that she was incorrect, and attempted to show her multiple pieces of documentation from state.gov, CLEAR chat GPT, she said she would no longer help me and that I should apply at a different post office. It took 1h25 min for the agent who showed up 20 minutes late to perform no duties that I had already cut a check for. I can't put myself in her place and understand post offices are short staffed, but when I asked for her name, she said "Suzie," and when I asked for her actual name, she said she "didn't have to provide it" to me. It was very clear this was someone who didn't want to have to deal with a frustrated customer, even though she arrived late. read more

I have rarely encountered a ruder group of staff. After an unpleasant interaction with one of the employees at the window, I asked to speak with the manager to address the situation. Unfortunately, Ronnie was dismissive and unprofessional, setting a poor example of what customer service and management should be. The experience left me very disappointed. I waited in line for 15 minutes with several packages, and when it was finally my turn, the woman at the window told me, "We don't print labels from QR codes here--you have to use the kiosk." I explained that I had been there just a few days earlier and they had scanned my QR code without any issue. Her response was loud and rude: "I'm not going to jam my printer for your label. You should have read the signs--they're everywhere." She kept going on about it not being her problem. Another customer in line also told her she was being rude. There was no reason for her to speak to a customer that way. She came across as angry, dismissive, and unprofessional. A simple explanation would have been sufficient, but instead I was treated with unnecessary hostility. read more

Used to be my go to Post Office with 3 kiosk machines and multiple window agents. Now the machines never work and the window agents "dont process mail". What the hell are they getting paid for? I am writing this review because this guy in the picture who is working at 1125 Fairfax Ave, West Hollywood told me the managers are available in Beverly location. This is his 2nd time to raise his voice and refuse to help me with free return and pre-label package! This man needs to get fired immediately he harassed me every time and even last time forced me to pay for the tape which I already taped my package but he said it is not enough tape! This person is a scam and fraud and it is clear he hates his job. I work in the customer service for 12 years and never seen something like this. I've been to BEVERLY LOCATION and all employees are nice and they helped me with my return and happily and I always have issue only with this person. This is my neighborhood post office so I've been in there dozens of times over the years. However, the last four times, including today, I've noticed that the service is getting slower, the air conditioning is faulty, and most (but not all) of the clerks are getting ruder. I waited 40 minutes in line just to send a letter certified mail and, just like the last 4 times, there was only one window open. When I finally got to the window, I was told, in a tone more appropriate for talking to an unruly child that their printing machine was out and they couldn't give me a printed receipt for my certified mail. Why they couldn't have said that before, when they were yelling at nearly all of us in line for various reasons, I don't know, and I didn't say anything other than "ok, thanks." What I do know is that this is the very last time I go to this horrible place. I get that sometimes businesses are short staffed, but this seems to be chronic problem there, and there is absolutely no reason to be rude to me or the other patrons in line. I've pointed them out with a finger in a picture I've posted stationed ar windows 3 & 4. she knew what she was doing cuz usually at the end of the transaction on the payment terminal it asks you to rate their service & she did NOT let me do that! You can tell both of them are very lazy so when you ask something that will make them work they react with attitude. They also treat you like you're dumb which shows how judgmental they are... This is the worst post office. I have ever had the displeasure of visiting, and I'm not sure who's more at fault, me for going back or me for being so dumb to go back. They are rude, discourteous, disrespectful, illmannered, and Uncivil; oh, and vindictive and dangerous. I should've asked for my very important new business credentialing form back, rather than walk away all upset. It never got there. I never got the receipt back. I'm sure the mean black lady threw away my super important envelope. The post office on Washington just east of Crenshaw where I always go; OMG, they explained everything, when my packages would get there, when the second or third package would get there, what it would cost what I should expect back, etc. etc.. What a great group of women over there at the Washington post office. Don't go to the US post office on Beverly Boulevard by Pan Pacific Park/Beverly Grove!! The employee who helped me was very kind and easy going. The internet is currently down at this location so they are cash only and are limited in what services they can process. The employee in the booth next to mine however, was very rude and had an extremely unpleasant attitude while helping a man who was reporting a mail theft. Her attitude was so off putting, she was jumping to conclusions about the issue the man was seeking help for with such callousness that she didn't even understand what the man was telling her and he had to gently correct her since it was clear she misunderstood. Her attitude made even me uncomfortable and she wasn't even servicing me, but her attitude was echoing through the place to the point people were turning and looking. And that kind of workplace hostility needs a serious correction if she is serious about working. Customers are not the enemy. read more

I was just at the post office returning some merchandise. I asked the women who was working what she suggested i put them in. She said just go find something over there. I said don't you have a suggestion. She said no i dont have time for this and closed her window and wqalked away. I went and found a box put the mechadise in it and returned to the gemtleman that was there as she was still gone 20 minutes later. I thanked him for his help. I paid $29 to have my husband's MRI disc sent overnight to his surgeon's office in Los Angeles (an obvious emergency) and carrier claims no one was at the office to sign for the item (Surgeon claims there was) and refused to redeliver the item the next day, and sent me a message to drive to their postal office to pick it up? I paid $29 for delivery, they failed to deliver, and expect me to drive two hours to pick it up? I have lost all faith and trust in the post office. I seriously think that this Post office on 7610 Beverly Blvd Los Angeles, CA 90036 needs to be under a police investigation. I have had two IRS refund checks stolen and cashed. I went as far to tell the Post office inspection about this. I have had envelopes delivered that had been ripped open. The person was obviously looking for a Credit Card. I am also going to go to the police. I would love to see everyone who has had a package missing or a check not delivered call The United States Postal Inspection Service 1-877-876-2455. This place refuses to scan in prepaid packages or give a receipt. It is the only acceptable proof of sending I can have with a proper package weight to cover myself in the event that the packages get lost or damaged. The woman practically yelled at me about it and says she's not obligated (fun fact, THEY HAVE TO IF YOU ASK) - handed her packages through the glass and she throws them in a bin and 2 out of the 3 disappeared and never made it to the recipient and I have no proof of dropping them off. (Self-serve kiosk receipts do NOT insure online sellers)... avoid this nightmare of a place UPDATE 12/2022 - this woman was literally screaming at me in front of an entire lobby of guests telling me she is not obligated to give me a receipt with the weight on the package and insists the self serve gives it when in fact it does NOT - she proceeded to scream "YOU ARENT LISTENING TO ME" - I don't know how this woman has a job. read more

Parking is sometimes chaotic with mentally challenged drivers who are unable to read signs and exit through the entrance. Now of course this is not the Post Office's problem as signs are clearly posted. However, two stars are a bit too generous for an unbelievably overcrowded place that has 5 or 6 windows but are attended only by 2-3 people on the front, or so it has been my experience. Granted, there is a self-operated kiosk unit for those simple shipments. Unfortunately for me, In the last two times I was there, neither of the two kiosk machines were operable. It truly defeats the purpose of having a kiosk. In addition, the area is not well kept. Re-designing floor space and display of forms and consumables is much needed. Management truly needs to address some of these concerns as the negative reviews are plentiful and speak much of this location. read more

I happened to be nearby and in need of a post office, and my visit went very well. I visited on a Saturday, and there was a limited line and multiple employees available at the window. I had a question about mail that continues to get delivered for my apartment's former tenants, and the postal employee explained ways I could manage this problem going forward. She was polite and patient, and I was thankful for her guidance. There are automatic machines if you want to skip the lines, and I had no trouble finding the mail slots when I had to drop off a letter. This is by far the worst post office I've ever been to. The employees at this location have the worse attitudes I've ever encountered in a retail environment. They have refused to ship my packages on numerous occasions citing "made-up" policies that conveniently make less work for themselves. I arrived at this post office 30 minutes after it closed hoping to use the automated machine to get one international stamp. The only problem was that they don't leave a door open like my neighborhood post office so you can access the stamp machine and get to your boxes. If you are an online seller, whatever you do, do not take your package here. They will refuse to scan your prepaid packages and give you a receipt (which is your proof that you have shipped your package to the buyer). So I said fine, let me just put it in the mailbox here. I kept checking the tracking--never updated. Then the buyer messages me to tell me it's never been received. Now I know why they won't give you a receipt--they are stealing from you. One of the worst post offices ever, Don't be fooled by easy parking! The lines here are 10 deep easy almost every hour of the day. If you're sending packages, be aware of that. They do however have an automated kiosk here for self-service domestic letters and packages if you need that. Don't go round lookin' for help though from the floor staff, they are extremely aggressive and extremely rude and are not helpful. I wouldn't be lookin' for a friendly service at this location. This is the worst USPS store or better yet the worst government owned establishment I have ever been to. Woman in stall 4 blatantly IGNORED me. I was there for my APPOINTMENT at 11:45, no one in the passport office.
