Anyway, during my break time, I walked over here to drop off an Amazon return item that I had to package and seal which wasn't too bad. It's a small post office that has maybe 2 or 3 stations and some P.O. boxes available. The line was short with two people ahead of me, however, it was about a 10 minutes wait before it was my turn. There was only one person working behind the counter. Once I got up to the counter, it was scan bam thank you mam... 10 secs and I was done and out LOL. The staff was pleasant and nice. I'll be back to use this post office in the future. Funny, I've walked on that side of the street before and never noticed this post office. I guess we don't see it until we're looking for it. So start looking around your surroundings... it may surprise you and answer your questions LOL.

I've made hundreds of trips to this location and not once, did I have a bad experience. Junior and Jack really make an effort to try and keep the lines moving quickly, and they're very helpful in answering any questions you may have. I sometimes marvel at the patience that Junior has when handling difficult customers with non-sensical questions, while I stand there visibly shaking my head. It's worth mentioning that I've noticed that the staff here will sometimes work through their lunch hours without breaks, especially during the busy season, I sincerely hope that management takes note and provides the staff with enough assistance that they do not need to do so. It's sometimes disheartening to see that despite the long hours and great service, they'd be forced to skip lunches or breaks. She pointed and said that there was one right around the corner! Yay! Sierra Madre's post office is cozy, calm, and mellow. I felt like I was in a safe, small, quaint country town. I parked in the back of the building and walked in the building from the side door. Other people parked in the front, on the street, and walked in the front door. Because of this mistake, the U.S. Passport Department had to email me the form directly, and now I have to fill it out, sign it, and mail it back myself, causing unnecessary delays and stress. This entire situation could have been avoided if the employee had properly informed me of the requirements in the first place. Very disappointing service and a huge waste of time.

I had some questions concerning the multi-purpose self-service machine. I needed to insert my credit card and adjust some settings. My papers were quickly processed. I am very impressed with the training program that FedEx must have in place. There's plenty of parking in the parking lot behind the store.
