Hacienda Station is my favorite post office. I'm hesitant to let people know about this. Every time I come in here, there is no line. I get to walk straight up to the counter. I'm afraid that if everyone else finds out about this little secret, then they will all start coming here. I don't want to see a line next time I come here. Maybe I should give this place a low rating. No, I can't do that. The people who work here are always great. Every one of them that I have encountered has had a good, helpful attitude. I actually enjoy dealing with them. Even though I see other customers in here, the employees treat me like I'm the one who matters. That's real customer service. Maybe this hidden gem isn't as crowded as the three other P.O.'s in Pleasanton, Dublin, and San Ramon because it's not on a main road. It's only a block off of Hopyard, and you can actually get to it through the parking lot from Hopyard. I better stop giving away the secret or else everyone will start coming here. Good fast efficient service though this location is often severely under staffed with 1 person only at the counter... which is the case of my earlier visit today. Nice clean location with shelves stocked with gift cards, greeting cards and shipping supplies. read more

Nice little hidden Post Office I never knew was here. Not crowded at all when I dropped by in the afternoon today. It has one self serve kiosk. Plenty of parking. It's located in a kinda hidden away Office park. I would come here again because it seemed less busy. read more

I had a really great experience here today. Thanks to Urvi & Tuyen. I had to do a mass mailing for my work and since it's so much, they found ways for me to save money and made it convenient. Tuyen really went out of her way to accommodate my needs. Today's transaction required a lot of math/calculation. Tuyen helped me with accuracy and simplified the transaction. Small but for business in Hacienda Business Park and plenty of parking. Workers try harder than other stations to get what you need or atleast direct you , if not. Usually 3 out stalls booths are open . Two operating. Busy times are open I ng and lunch and pre Holidays. Drive up two large parcel inside and mailboxes. Makes a diff when San Ramon and Dub Station are always packed. Especially running a biz in 94588. Helpful courteous staff with diff languages available for customers comm. Used to be able to.access p.o.b's 24/7. But due to C-19 or other. Temp closed off business hours. I have done atleast 20 over their usps surveys over the years. read more

They miss picking up our outgoing mail at least twice a month and that's if we are nit watching out the window for when they arrive to catch them before they leave to tell them not to forget the packages. This is even with a big sign in bold black letters that says " OUTGOING MAIL". Then a "system glitch" added $1.30 to a dozen of our outgoing packages and trying to hunt down the appropriate department that handles these issues was an absolute nightmare! I'm sure many of us dread going to the post office in fears of long lines and grumpy workers, well this location is none of that. I've been to a few different locations in the Dublin/Pleasanton area and this is always by far the fast and friendliest of the bunch. There was one particular trip where I was mailing in my passport renewal and the lady working at the register double checked I included all the necessary information...lo and behold I forgot to include my passport itself in the package! As a Dublin/Pleasanton resident, I've used this post office a handful of times and I'm mostly satisfied with the service. Employees are quite efficient and quick at their jobs from what I've experienced. Lily is always great and provides great customer service, always polite and helpful. There's one woman (name I haven't retained) who sometimes works alongside her that could use a course on how to kindly speak to customers, she always seems to have a /demanding/rude tone about her when answering basic questions. Why take your stresses out on polite and paying customers? I choose to go with whoever ELSE is there because just speaking to her gives me anxiety. read more

One of the best location in the entire bay area. This is located around the dublin business part and are experienced handling more than residential letters and deliveries. They are awesome. Really friendly staff. The room inside is a bit small, but the service is very fast. Utilize the drop off boxes, automated machine, and the extra drop off window during COVID. If you have a fully labeled package that you are confident about you can also drop it off here fast, just show it to staff. You may not have to queue up. read more

KAMAL is extremely rude. She told me to move without saying please, no manners whatsoever. I was filling out my application and she was like MOVE and I looked up confused.. like is she talking to me? And then again she said MOVE I need to assist the people behind you. But there's a nicer way to ask. She's an employee and I cannot believe her mean attitude. These people at this post office need training on how to treat people with respect. It was just a very bad experience and I told all of them 'you guys aren't very friendly here.' I've lived in the area and have been using this post office for 30 years. The customer service is horrible. I don't understand the rudeness. And make sure you bring all of your supplies to mail your package. They wouldn't let me use their tape to close up my box. They told me I have to buy it because I'm using ground shipping. Wth? I paid for the $10 shipping label. I chose to drive home and get my own. It's not the price of the tape, it's a bs rule. read more

It's the Post Office. You hear that and groan. That being said... It's nothing like that. Go on in. The people are kind and very helpful. They smile when they talk with you. The line goes quickly so don't worry about it. They also open the half door where you would go to to pick up a package when the line looks long. They also open the half door when there is no line. You are treated with courtesy and respect. I have never been there more than 10 minutes and that is during the Christmas rush when the line is out the door. Go on in. read more

The self service postal machine located here is outstanding! Worth it every time I come here. Every post office should have one. You can send envelopes and packages. I had a very unpleasant experience at this location today and will probably not be returning again. I've come here other times and this particular representative by the name of "Karen" was rude, but this time her behavior was unacceptable. I was at her station taping up my box getting ready to ship it. There was no one else in the line at the time so I quickly tried to tape my box up, and in the middle of me taping my package she tells me to "MOVE!! You're in the way." That is not the way you speak to a customer. I wouldn't have minded her telling me to step aside, but straight up yelling at me to move was out of line and I will be reporting her to corporate. Not many more shopping days until Christmas - I suppose that is why lines were so long today. Lots of people shoving gifts and cards in the mail so they get there on time. A very standard average post office with a bland building and scuffed dirty institutional floors. If you can avoid coming here - do it. Lots of post office boxes scattered all over. A cluttered look and probably not designed to make the facility itself look good. Strange floor plan I must say and it feels dark even though there are lots of windows. read more

Instead of the large Post offices...we always go here. We needed holiday stamps and hubby stopped in just last week. Small, and convenient...great place to drop off packages and mail conveniently (drive up and drop off) Closed on Saturday. Passport: So there is a list for you to put your name on but I would wait in line instead of trying to look for the list. A lady will come out with the paper to put your name on the list. They only take 5 applicants every hour. I ran out of checks in my checkbook so I got 2 money orders there ($1.20 each). When you get your name called, you go into a room and you can tell the lady you don't have any checks. She will fill out a tiny paper where you will go outside and pay for it. They only take cash or debit when buying the money order. If you have your own checks then you need 2 of them. The whole process took less than 1.5 hours but most of it was waiting to be called. The passport itself took maybe 8 mins. The lady was a little stressed when getting names but in the room she was a sweetheart. Make sure to have black/white photocopies of your documents (front and back of them. if they have a back). A passport photo and 2 checks Update: I received my passport less than 2 week. Turned in the documents on Monday and received it the following Thursday. read more

Two stars only because I've come here before and preferred it to the bitter lady at the Dublin USPS. BUT... after today I don't know. I arrived shortly after 3 today.. line was out the door... but it's to be expected because of the holidays (people shipping holiday cards and gifts). While waiting "Chris" as I noticed DM J posted a picture of and referred to in his post, was scowling and grumpy that the mail box was full and people were trying to toss packages in... I guess he didn't appreciate that he had to walk the extra couple of steps to empty the mail before returning to his cashier station. I was really hoping as I got closer to the front of the line that I wouldn't get him.... but of course with my luck he said "how may I help you". I hand him 15 catalog envelopes I need certified mail (for work). It's not like I came unprepared. They were all labeled and sealed, and all the cerified mail forms were filled out. He takes a look at the stack and says "no, this is a half hour transaction, it's too much work. I'll just print stamps for you to do yourself". Umm, Sorry, we have a stamp machine, the reason I came in is because we need it certified. His response "this is going to take half hour you can do it yourself" I ask if there was a way I could've certified it from the office on our own and paid online. He replies "let me weigh this one, i'll do it now but it's going to take me over half an hour, for future reference it will cost $4.00 flat" My response: "So does weight not matter? Because we don't certify often, and I'm not sure how much an envelope will weigh?" In his disgruntled manner, he slams our envelopes down quite loudly. Then scowls as he looks at every one shaking his head. I tell him the labels are in the order of the envelopes but as he took that first envelope to weigh and then moved the label it was off by one... Of course he seemed to think this was our fault. He angrily scans every one which takes about 10 minutes not 30, and each envelope actually comes out to be $4.49 not $4 flat like he first suggested I pay. I'm sorry CHRIS, I understand it may be busier than normal for you because of the Holidays, but if you weren't helping me you would be helping the other customers in line anyways.... So I'm sorry for making you do just a little more work to scan a few more papers. I thought I tried my best to make it easy for you, but I guess it would've been easier if I just didn't bring it to you at all.... If the Post office is to automate everything like how you want it.... wouldn't you be out of a job though? He really put a sour mood to my day, and I still can't shake how rude this man was today. I arrived this post office at 4:58. I was glad there was no line waiting. But when I moved to the first counter on the left and told a lady that I had a package to be mailed to Hong Kong, I was told I need to arrive 10 mins before they closing as I need to fill a custom form. This was the first time I heard this kind of request. I was refused to get the mailing service even I arrive the post office before the closing time of their biz hour. I was shocked!! I used to work in HSBC and we worked sometimes 30~ mins after the door is closed because some transactions taken very long. We don't refuse customers even if they walk in at the last very minute. I will give zero star if there was an option. The staff here are rude and ridiculous. I need to mail out an international package today so I ran to this place around 4:50pm as they close at 5. After waiting in the line for 11 minute, it handed my package and custom form to the staff. They refused to help me saying it is the rule that all international package has to be there by 4:30pm. What the hell is this rule about? You close at 5 means you need to help all the customers come in before 5. Myoung was the one who said big NO and this RIDICULOUS rule. Better than the Dublin PO. This location has plenty of parking, which is a major plus. If you don't care about parking go to the Dublin P.O the service is pretty much the same. I will try to come here before going to Dublin PO The only minus is that it's closed on Saturdays :( read more

Meh, it's a usps so it's all about where you put your expectation. It's fast and efficient. That's all that matters to me. So the people behind the counter are not the friendliest and do not smile back when you smile. But it's okay, I don't have to see them everyday so it doesn't bother me as much. I only come here to drop off packages and get a scan so the status would say it's in their possession so I have no clue how they are when it comes to actually helping with labels, shipping, refunds and buying supplies transactions. I've been able to get in and out in less than 10 mins every time that I go so I guess it's okay. There is a line there when they first open at 9:30. Usually not so many people are waiting in the mid-afternoon range. The San Ramon one and the Dublin one are in my personal opinion friendlier in general. read more

Gina is extremely unprofessional and annoyed woman. I stop by to drop off a package requested for the pricing for the priority and express mail the answer I got was this too much work and why don't you just send it the regular mail there was no other customer I was the only customer in store. Surprisingly the next customer also requested for the same information priority mail express mail she didn't give them the same answer. Of course they were white. :) I requested for the manager information her name is Gloria and she was in a meeting I have a phone number I'm planning on speaking to her and complain to her about the professionalism of Gina. I don't understand if a customer representative is not pleasant and a slacker why put them at front desk facing customers??? Maybe it's a fact government job pays less and that's why most employees are not happy campers. read more

I wouldn't say that I look forward to coming here but I can say that I leave this place in the same mood I came in with. The people who work there often multitask so the line moves quickly. Lines are always long but move quickly, parking is always spacious and plentiful, & employees are always helpful and teach you how to save $. I always have to get in line to ask for flat rate priority mail boxes because people clear out those racks! It's never a "good time" to come because there's always a long line out the door for some reason. People have a lot to mail out & I guess USPS isn't going out of business anytime soon! read more

Terrible attitude! I sent a package internationally and I had to fill in the custom form. Even before I started to write I was told to rush cause there is somebody else behind me. It was one person only waiting and another window open. Not rushing was the problem but the way I was told to hurry up. Maybe they have a target of minutes to spend per customer, I don't know, but it was rude and unnecessary considering I was rushing anyway to get out of there. read more

I feel a little like Cliff from Cheers, because I am so JAZZED about this damn post office! Sure...they don't have a stamp machine, but they've one up'd it and have a SHIPPING MACHINE!! It weighs and prints labels for every variety of shipping from flat rate international express to a stupid 1 stamp birthday card situation. Sure...you can't get a person on the weekends, but who cares?!? They have a SHIPPING MACHINE and a DROP BOX for boxes!! It is so convenient because I can do my mailing (I'm a nerd - I yelp AND ebay) after work because this location is open...wait...wait for it...24 hrs., because you can ALWAYS use the shipping machine.
