What an awful experience. I should have went to the one I usually go to, and the one I went to afterward was just a night-and-day difference. This will be my first and last visit to the Pleasanton location. When I went in, said hi, and asked who I believed to be the manager if the workstations have Microsoft Word, she didn't even greet me and just said, "I don't know. You can just go to the workstation and see". How do you not know if Microsoft Word is on there? You work here and should know... I went to the workstation section and saw that one workstation was empty. But then I glanced at some folders that I could use to put my documents in. I decided to take a minute or so to take a look. But you know what? I shouldn't have done that and someone else took my spot, as there was another customer who was already using the workstation. I waited for either of them to finish, and even the alarm sounded for the other customer to finish their session and get off. No employee came to tell them to let me use the station. I went to that same manager and I asked her if that alarm was to let people know that the session was over. She said yes. I then asked her if you could tell the customer to let me use the workstation, and she didn't even want to make the customer accountable and stop using the workstation to give me a little bit of time to get my work done, so she said, "Unfortunately, you would have to wait until the customer to finish what they were doing for you to be next". After that, I waited a couple more minutes for that customer I initially waited on to finish, but that one still wasn't done. I left and will never come back. However, my visit at my usual FedEx Office location was a WHOLE lot better! Workstations were clear the whole time, and I got my document printed very quickly! Just don't go to the one in Pleasanton unless you want to wait 30+ minutes to get something quick done. read more

Got a phone call and email that my order was completed in the morning. Went after work to pick up. Order was ready in the front. Waited about 10min to be helped because of customers ahead of me. During my visit at this location, I was not greeted by any employees. I had a very simple ask with a print job that could've easily be done by the staff there using Adobe acrobat. Instead, the employee named Jessica refused and said that she is not able to nor does she want to. After struggling for some time to figure it out, Kenny gave a very different experience. Went in for some copies. Store was big and clean and friendly people working there. Went in for a simple task. I was nearby at Home Depot and remember that this location has better later hours than the store that is closer to home for me. Made copies without problem. You pay at the machine and its super fast. Parking lot is shared with Home Depot and In N Out and Bevmo is across the street. Typical strip mall type shopping experience. Parking couldn't be more abundant. I think a Starbucks is directly next door -- but I've never been to that location. read more

Good! Not the best FedEx I've been to, but I appreciate all the space it has. The staff works quickly and whenever I put in a print order online, it can usually be ready earlier than the estimated time. I don't often encounter lines here so I can typically pick up my prints quickly. Like other FedEx centers, they have all the tools: paper cutter, office supplies, and computers if you need to print anything while there. I also was able to easily print from my laptop by emailing their print email and had no issues. I have experienced some issues with alignment on my prints in the past but no big deal. Not a ton of parking directly in front, but it's usually not busy enough to get full. read more

This FedEx location in the Pleasanton Square Shopping Center plaza. They are a bit hidden away, away from the main area of the plaza with limited parking on this side. I had to photocopy something last minute, so I stopped by to try to use the copier quickly. I had a bit of trouble, so I had to wait for one of the employees to finish up with another customer, so he can help me. I wished I caught his name, as he quickly helped me with the copier to photocopy my document and I was on my way shortly afterwards. read more

Come here to experience the worst customer service I came to this location tonight to place an order for business cards in no rush, the guy working the register tonight said it would be cheaper to do it online..I asked how much difference he pretended to calculate and said $60 because of processing and all that...LOL. I mentioned I went to another FedEx location the day before and was charged $16 for the same thing, and he whined "Can't you just do it online? I mean we have computers here if you want" wow.. I've never experienced such inconsideration in a business. Instead of escalating the situation I actually went to the computer to try to do it myself, but the template I made myself was in my email and you cannot make downloads on their computer for me to upload my image. The other location processed this order in less than 10 minutes if you have a premade template, you email it to them, they receive and take care of the rest. In conclusion staff needs retraining and it is worth the trip elsewhere. read more

This is the closest fedex location to me. The location is convenient. The service they provide has changed a lot over the years. It used to be a good place to go for printing and copying. They used to have a fair retail section. I think the advancement in technology and online options has reduced its usefulness. There appeared to be 3 or more employees and as many customers. I was an emotional wreck, but I was met with such kindness I almost cried in the shop. I was lucky that Jammie was behind the counter because she so gently guided me through the process, step by step to get the service expedited, then checking to make sure the printing quality was exactly as I wanted. Awesome service last time we came here, that's why I decided to get the same job done here again today. We came here roughly around 4:00pm today. Surprised to see only one employee trying to help everyone at the counter, while the other two just a shadow in the back. It took about 20 minutes before someone acknowledge us. It's not like it's busy. There was only 2 other customers ahead of us. Plus, it looks as if the Asian girl helping everyone is new and still learning. I kinda felt sorry for her. The other 2 not willing to help. I had to laminate something today and I made it simple enough so that it will be easy to put in the plastic pouch and ready to heat seal it. So, why did it take 50 minutes to do the job? I rated this place 4 stars prior visit but today this place deserves one star. I added another star simply because I felt sorry for the poor girl. To make the long story short........after waiting so long. She still got the job wrong because she did not get help from anyone. No point of complaining at this point. I just hope owners are reading this review so they can provide teamwork or customer service class for their employees. This lack of training can really hurt your business. My first visit I limited stars for negatives in quality of service. The San Ramon location's camera was inaccessible for passport pictures on a weekend, San Ramon did not double check whether or not their Danville location was actually open before sending us there. We searched for the next closest on Yelp and the Pleasanton location was slightly out of the way. When we walked in to the SR location, there were 4 reps on staff; 3 were WITHOUT customers behind the counter, did NOT acknowledge customers as they walked in nor even looked up from what appeared to be shuffling papers and moving around to appear looking busy. This did not happen at one isolated location but at TWO - both SR and PLEASANTON employees have strange social skills. Why was every rep so awkward to speak to? Go and see for yourself. When the rep at Pleasanton took my photos I didn't know you weren't supposed to smile and he didn't even bother guiding me on what's what. I felt like an idiot the way he treated me. He didn't ask if I wanted to review the photos either and I honestly just wanted to GTFO as soon as possible. My photos were hilariously awful. He took them across from the restrooms with the window on my right and door to my left so the result was dark compared to my existing passport picture. I also smirked which resulted in a resting bitch face I kid you NOT. Lol If my passport application is rejected for non-compliance photo I will deduct another star. The only reason we came to a FedEx was becauseTWO UPS Store locations in SR and one Postal Annex in Danville rejected my hubbs passport renewal due to photo compliance issues. Costco was the only other place for success rate on passport pics why I didn't return there was my mistake. ‍ Now I await 6+ weeks for either a renewed passport or my trip to COSTCO WAREHOUSE for ACTUAL CUSTOMER SERVICE. Satisfies my occasional shipping and printing needs. Service has generally been efficient and polite. Self-service printing was pretty straightforward. They have what seem like proper social distancing and mask policies. The only negative thing so far is that international shipping seems to be much more expensive that other services. Came to ship a pair of shoes and the woman at the counter went let me ship it without opening it up and purchasing some fluff to pack it in because there was something that shifted when you flipped the box on its head....theyre shoes. I've shipped hundreds of pairs and never have I had an issue with "shifting". Lady looked like she was in a mood and decided to take it out on the customers. Very easy and convenient. The store is located in the same strip mall as Home Depot. It is on the right side corner of Home Depot. It is easiest to enter the parking lot on Johnson through the side. Parking was not a problem. Service was great. There was someone at the door opening it for customers so that we did not have to touch the door handle. The service guy at the counter was very friendly with processing my fedex package. I was lucky there was no line. Everyone was masked and socially distanced. Very positive experience. read more

The service options here are good. The service is not! Specifically PAUL. I watched him be very rude and tell a customer her return label QR code was not theirs. In the end, he was wrong and she was right! He was super argumentative with her and made me nervous to be next up in line...! He ended up walking away and saying he can't "deal"! Pedro is by far the best FedEx Office employee I've ever worked with. In fact, i've gone to this FedEx several time and the service has always been subpar. I was going to stop using FedEx for my printing but I decided to give them one more chance. Pedro is a clear communicator, helped me solve multiple problems, and made the whole experience really easy. At one point he had to talk to his manager the next day and told me he would call me at 11:30 the next day. He actually called me and had my entire order taken care of. I will continue to get my printing done at FedEx Office, but only if I am dealing with Pedro. read more

Unlike what others stated , I like this dedicated fedex "shop". It is a very busy center , don't be fooled by the small frontage. All services available here. Staff are knowledgeable and a s fast as the system allows them to be. They are équipes for very large shipment. The car park right at the door and dedicated just to them makes this extremely convenient. I Be aware that you need you're ID when posting unless you're an account holder. I've been here a couple of times and I never get the impression that my jobs have been appreciated. I had a poster done here years ago and it was wrong, they tried to second guess what I wanted when I was specific. Recently, I had a print job and the assistant manager didn't really seem all too happy to help me because I had things to print in files. Essentially, if you want things printed here, there is no independent thought, so arrange all of your pdfs in order, no real customizing or anything that requires more than 1 button pushing and inserting of quantities. read more

I'm not like one of those yelp superstars that gets their rocks off leaving 1 star reviews, but the service I received today was so laughable I just had to. I work at a store that does a lot of shipping so I'm familiar with how things work. I usually schedule pick ups, but I needed my shipment out today so I drove to this location to drop it off. I had 4 identical boxes, 2 needed to ship out and I was taking 2 back to my store. This kid working there is inspecting these things like his life depends on it. First box, kinda smushed Second box, dented corner Third box, small hole These are the reasons he won't ship a single one of my boxes instead suggesting I pay for him to repack it. Maybe this is a new scam for FedEx to make some money, but I seriously cannot believe they wouldn't ship them. My wife helped me dropped off a box with pre-printed, nicely packed/sealed to send my phone to Samsung for tarde-in. My wife didn't know better and told the staff it's a cellphone that was sent back to Samsung. Then, a week later, Samsung informed me that they received an empty box with no phone in it. Samsung was going to charge me for the phone they didn't receive. This sounds all too suspicious. I'm pretty f-king sure I put the phone in the nicely wrapped/sealed/packed box. So the phone was in FedEx possession at all time. Somewhere along the way, someone decided to take the phone and reseal the box back with different tissue packing paper. I spoke to Samsung, and they told me what they have in the box with an unboxing video. The tissue paper is not what I put in, and there's no phone to be found. Because their drivers are covered by insurance, stolen items on those routes, regardless how inconvenient and unprofessional their drivers are, nothing is done to hold their staff accountable.
