Horrible customer service. I walked in 5 min til 5:00 P.M carrying 2 heavy priority boxes and the tall black man tells me they are closed. Yet another man was picking his priority box out to ship his items and allows him to stay. How is that even possible, he sees me struggling to carry the boxes and yet turns me away. I had my box ready to ship and the man that was allowed to stay still needed to box up his items to ship. This pisses me off. read more

How is it that I receive a notice from Amazon saying that the carrier tried to deliver a package but was unable to access mailbox. First off the package was to be delivered to the front door. Second the mailbox is down the street. Third how can you say you tried to deliver and had no access when I was sitting in the front yard all day. I saw no one attempt to deliver anything to my home at the time stated. I even have ways to back up the story. Honestly I'm glad it's something that wasn't important because I would be even more pissed. It's frustrating to know these are the type of people in care of important documents and packages. Supposed to be trusted to get packages where they need to be in a timely matter. I would have rather them say the delivery was behind then to LIE!!! and say they actually tried to deliver it when I know they didn't. And after reading the other reviews of here this place either needs to shut down or get new management!!!! read more

In all my years of getting mail, I've never seen such a bad post office. They routinely lose mail. I've had checks lost, bills lost, important timely legal documents lost and they do nothing to fix it. I recently mailed a birthday card with a check on Feb 4 for a Feb 14 birthday. It didn't arrive so I had to cancel the check. Then it arrived on March 1, almost a full month later with a postmark of Feb. 22 !!! Where did it sit for 18 full days??? When will they privatize the USPS so that we can again rely on this monopoly to do their jobs? read more

This office never picks up their phone. I called it 10 times for 3 hours straight and no answer.

I went to this post office to mail off a package and was seen by customer service representative Natalie. This clerk was very rude and refused to put tape on a mailing package. I ask her three times to do this and she was very rude and unprofessional. This post office will never get my services again. read more

This is rediculous!!! Our mail carrier thinks that delivering the mail is optional, and it doesnt matter who she delivers to....we never get mail on time and mail is always delivered to our neighbors and their mail delivered to us!!! We have made several complaints but due to the fact that ahe is related to the postmaster it does not matter!!!!SMH read more

Long lines with too few employees who don't care at all. The delivery people constantly get the wrong mail in the wrong boxes, and I realize that probably happens everywhere but I think it's excessive here. If you leave a package in one of the boxes too long they take all of your mail out plus the package and make a big stink about it claiming with an note that you let your mail box overflow when it was really just a package you didn't pick up out of the box for a few days so they make you waste your time going down to the post office an hour away and talking to a so called "supervisor". The main post office is so far away if you live in Richmond close to Katy that it's ridiculous. Since our mail system is national it would make more sense for your main post office to be closer to where you live so when they get arrogant and want to go on an ego trip if you don't pick up your packages in their time frame you don't have to travel an hour away instead of to the closer main post office that's only twenty minutes away. And I checked to see if the other package boxes were full and I could tell by the way the lock was turned that they were empty which means even if they don't need the package boxes for other people they freak out needlessly anyway if you haven't taken it out within their short time frame and take all your mail, make you go down to the post office, talk to a supervisor, and threaten that if it happens again they will just close your mail box and stop delivering to your address completely. read more

If I could do a negative star I would. I went to get my passport 4 times let me say that again 4 times. This is after calling to find out their hours and if they were doing passports that day. And 4 times told they are not doing them and to come back and/or go to the court house. Go to the court house and I only have options for anything other than passport. We used to have excellent and timely delivery we could depend upon... not anymore! We never know who is going to deliver our mail, or when, or even if! Service is deplorable and the post master of the Richmond facility should be ashamed but apparently not since this fairly new facility is filthy inside (which might give one an idea what its like behind the walls! During the May-June flood, when a neighbor went to great length to go to the post office, they couldn't find mail for our subdivision or even tell where our 4-day backlog of undelivered mail was (they had no idea)! Mail delivery personnel are often not in any uniform of any sort, talk on cell phones while sorting the mail at our neighborhood box and frequently get the mail in the wrong boxes. This is a terrible situation and needs to be corrected! read more
