Worst post office ever! Never deliver packages on time, I've had them update tracking info as delivered and then deliver packages 2 to 3 days later. Workers are rude and unhelpful, and management is even worse. They have also lost my rent check several times causing me late charges, it got so bad i have to send my rent check out with certified mail now. I even have a package sitting somewhere right now, that was supposed to be delivered today, that of course was not. Look elsewhere for your postal needs. read more

I went into USPS during the rush house, when I saw the ridiculous line I immediately turned around and decided to leave since I was in a rush. Pete, who's a staff is Usps in charge of the self help section, saw my motion and said he can assist me, which is faster. I was amazed with Pete's speed and great customer service. Because my package is a bit bulky and awkward, he needed some time to get into the system. He said to give him 3 minutes, and he literally timed himself and figured out everything in 2:51 mins to be exact. I want to praise Pete's great customer service, and knowledge about his job. I actually never left a review for my original PO Box location (Robertsville) due to being pretty scared to do so. Lol, long story short, the staff there took a liking to me and wrote down my PO Box address and mailed me a letter to ask me out (stamped, sent out from home, and everything) and .. that's just beyond creepy. Supervisor did nothing .. but chuckle. This location.. the wait to send things out is longer. The wait to be helped can be longer. The rate of transaction )while theyre helping you out) is longer. But I don't have to come way after closing hours (10pm, etc) to feel safe. Unfortunately, that isn't even an option here as their post office lobby is closed fairly early. Also, a few of my items reported to have arrived at the post office were "returned" within the next couple weeks or lost. I have no idea why small items have to be returned if it's my mailbox. It's not like it's being stored elsewhere. Again, small items. Overall, this is an alright post office. I don't like to review non-food businesses on the regular. However, I have had so many bad experiences with this particular post office, that I feel it's a "must review." I typically love USPS. I try to send all of my packages and mail via USPS (which is A LOT - I typically go at least once a week). However, this branch fails for many reasons. To be fair, it also seems like the overall USPS also fails lately. Let's start with the fact that there are usually three women working here on Saturday mornings. You are LUCKY if ONE of them speaks English well. Honestly. They have one older woman who doesn't understand English at all. They have another woman who likes to lecture you on the way you present your packages (stamps off centered, address labeled wrong, box too small). Then let's get on to the actual shipping from this office. I have sent many things that have literally NEVER gotten to the recipient. Sadly, this was all around the same time, and I had yet to lose my faith in the USPS, so I hadn't kept the receipts (showing tracking number). Because I had sent so many boxes through them and never have lost one, I didn't even think twice. I sent a large box to friends in Los Angeles for their birthday. Lost. It's been over almost two months and I have been told it is officially lost (by them). I sent five Valentine's Day cards (flat - regular postage) from this location. One was delivered. ONE. I sent a birthday card from this location, same flat regular postage, it was delivered TWO WEEKS later. I cannot help but feel like this particular location is slow in processing the mail. I also cannot help but feel like they somehow also processed my large package wrong as well. I suggest to everyone: if you can make it to another USPS location: DO IT. read more

This small group of postal workers at the counter do a great job, but waiting in line forever is ridiculous! In our area so many new apartments and housing are being built and we have this little tiny post office! Come on USPS, why not build or lease a larger facility to accomadate 95123 area! Hi Yelpers! Do NOT go to this post office. During the last 2 months, I sent out 440 wedding invitations. I wanted to do "hand cancel", because I was worried they would get stuck in the machine, yet they refused to hand cancel there, and would not tell us a place that would. In my paranoia, I stood in line, went to the attendent, and had her weigh each and every envelope, making sure there was enough postage for each one. Now, 15 days before I have to tell the caterer how many people are coming, I realize 40% of my guests did not receive their invitations. I purchased a PO BOX as a NEW customer, and the woman helping me never actually opened the box (little cardboard piece the put at the end to notify employees to not put mail in your box) so I could receive mail! Three weeks later (after I had gotten address changes) I was not receiving any mail, turns out it all got sent back..... I spoke with the supervisor who insisted I had just not paid my bill! WHAT?! "didn't I just say I am a NEW customer?" She let me know she was going to call me back.. nope... I go to this post office because it's close to my home, parking is never a problem and all the clerks are very helpful. A couple days ago my wife forgot to sign a document she put in the mail box and asked one of the clerks if they can find the mail she dropped off and after several minutes they found it and she was able to open the letter and sign it. The clerk gave her some tape to seal it back. I been going to this post office for many, many years and never encountered a rude or unfriendly clerk. I seem to have lost packages or sent back to the sender. This has happened twice. I've had USPS claim my package was delivered to my front porch but no one made a delivery on their said date. My surveillance camera did NOT show any packages delivered on that date. The postman could have delivered it to the wrong address or kept it. On top of that I paid for shipping through a site yet USPS left a note saying I needed to pay an extra $12 to have my package released. I ordered from a very popular and reputable company that handles shipping on a daily basis. There's no way I underpaid when I ordered my order. Today the post person delivered mail to our community multi-mailbox and didn't secure the doors. Left it wide open. My husband slammed the door shut and luckily it locked. I tried calling the post office from the number found on the USPS website. Of course, much like their service, it doesn't work. It rings multiple times, gives a busy signal and disconnects. I am fortunate to have my mail moved to a different address with a different USPS office that actually functions without this many issues. But some of my neighbors aren't so lucky! read more

I really do not like to leave negative reviews on Yelp but the Blossom Hill Post Office is in a league all it's own. To quote Obi Wan "You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy." They are getting one star because I cannot leave zero,Theft is rampant here and the Postal Inspectors don't care and will not investigate. I have had domestic and international shipments stolen and mail stolen out of the box in front. They even had a sign on it for awhile saying not to leave anything in it overnight. Because it was being broken into regularly. Did they stake it out? Did they put video cameras out to watch it? No! They could care less. Several years ago I watched a guy setup a video camera and film his interaction with the clerk. I thought it was a bit extreme but now I know why. Sometimes when it is busy, which is most of the time and you are dropping something off the desk clerk will point to the empty station to the right and say "just leave it there." DO NOT FALL FOR THAT! I had a high value package going to Germany and I did that and it disappeared. That area is under video surveillance so I filed a complaint with the Postal Inspectors. Surely they could see what transpired. Despite numerous attempts to reach them THEY NEVER EVEN ACKNOWLEDGED MY COMPLAINTS, even with a case number, in violation of their own policies. I finally realized what was going on and started shipping from other stations. For serious postal interactions I recommend the station at 1750 Meridian Ave. The staff there is courteous and knowledgeable, something you will never see at Cahalan. The Meridian station gets pretty busy at time though. If you really want to know a great station there is a sort of "stealth" post office in Almaden Valley at 6525 Crown Blvd. Go south on Almaden Expy past Camden. Take the next right and it is just behind Safeway. Never a parking problem and never waited long in line there and no problems with things going missing. So I was headed over to Almaden to ship some high value priority mail and stopped at Cahalan to get some address labels. There was no one in there and I was running late so I fell for the trap. Over $4,000 worth of stuff went missing, opened and looted. My bad that I did not insure because I never had a problem before, Mostly because I avoid this post office. Shipment had tracking number but the track shows nothing and post office will not do anything except pay me $50. USPS is just about worthless and I can't wait for FedEx and UPS to clean your clock and this is why. read more

Your basic post office. The service here can be a bit gruff occasionally, but that's true of most other one's I've been to. They are relatively fast here and the long lines move adequately. Parking here is awkward and there isn't enough of it. What I really like about this post office is the convenient drive-thru mailboxes. read more

I have been to this postoffice for so many years. Located in a less crowded Blossom Hills neighborhood, this post office is usually not as crowded as other places. Hope my review doesn't get this place more crowded, and it would defeat the purpose of me liking this location. JK. Everyone behind the counter that I've met was helpful and nice. This location is not very big but not small at all. It does have mailboxes, automatic machine for sending mails and buying stamps. They don't have a lot of options for envelops and boxes but enough size range for people to get what they need. read more

So I currently moved so my mom asked for the post office to hold our mail until we got the mailbox key( we moved into an apartment) They told us it would take 2 weeks and until then we can just pick up the mail at the office. So it's been a week and I went today to go pick up our mail. NOBODY was helpful and they ALL had an awful attitude with me. I ended up not getting any of my mail. On a separate note, I sell some clothing online and my buyers pay for shipping, handling, postage, etc. So I haven't had to pay packaging. The clerk claimed you can NOT track packages to Canada, that it's only domestic packages that are tracked. He even scolded me for having plastic tape on the front of my package, and demonstrated his point by stamping and then smearing it! Then he told me I could register my package for an additional $20 if I had it professionally wrapped (no tape) either side. Well.....he was wrong, wrong wrong. (would have cost me $100 at the USP store to have it wrapped). Almaden branch said plastic tape was OK and that USPS now tracks Canadian packages FREE. I called USPS' 800 customer service who also didn't know about the free tracking. Seems like the post office is making a little side money on registered mail that doesn't need to happen. I go here because it's the closest post office to my house. Sometimes this place is very crowded, and the lines can get pretty long. When I was there the other day around noon, which is usually the most busy time, it wasn't too bad of a wait because they had 4 workers at the time. However, I noticed some people still being anal about people cutting, when in fact those people were in line earlier but had just stepped aside to complete/fill out something. One of the workers, this older Caucasian male to be exact, seemed to be especially gleeful and energetic so that lightened the tense atmosphere a bit. However, I have experienced instances at this post office where there were only 2 workers, leaving agitated people, including myself, waiting in line. I went there yesterday to mail out a big envelope filled with a handful of documents. When I went up to the register to ask the lady how many stamps it needed, she told me it was worth $2 in weight. Thus we agreed that 5 stamps, at 44 cents each would suffice for the envelope. Since I had purchased the packet of stamps from her, I proceeded to add the stamps and sent it off for mailing. Today, I got the envelope delivered back to my place with a notice stating "21 cents for additional postage. Sender remove label, affix correct postage and remail." OMG you serious?! Out of anger, I added 2 damn stamps on the envelope just to be sure and went back to the post office to mail it out. That lady was lucky she wasn't there otherwise I would have given her a mouthful. Okay, maybe it wasn't her fault, but it was still a waste of time for me to go back there to mail it. In any case, that was my only awful experience at this post office. Although their staff may be deficient at times, I will still go here since it is within close proximity. read more

This is my local post office, like any government run operation expect a union like mentality from the workers (they are not going to bust their butts if there is a line). There are one or two staff members that go above and beyond but the rest work at a snail pace. So expect a wait, staff is competent and supplies are normally well stocked. Thank god they have an automated system that is open 24 hours, that is a life saver when the post office is busy. He comes back and hands me a note with a manager' name and phone number. Tells me to call this number and they will definitely help you. When I get home I dial the number and receive error message: "The number you have dialed is not in service. Please check the number and try again...." I came back to the office to confirm that I dialed the correct number. I had. I asked the idiot where he got the bogus phone number from. I haven't had many interactions at this post office until recently. My husband and I moved, and the post office is supposed to issue the mailbox keys to our new apartment. I went in and requested our mailbox keys, paid the deposit, and while I was there I decided to change our address and fill out a request that the post office would hold my mail there, since we wouldn't have the keys to our new mailbox until they issued them (could take 2 weeks to a month I was told). All went well I thought, and a week and a half later, I went in to check my mail. One of the guys there said I didn't have anything there. It seemed kind of odd but I thought I'd come back another time, maybe we truly didn't have any mail. So I came back a week later to check for mail again, the woman there said I didn't have any mail. Which I knew couldn't have been possible, we were waiting for things to come in the mail. I told her we're waiting on our mailbox keys from them and had to request for the post office to hold my mail. She asked me if I filled out the request to hold mail form, and I said yes! This woman was the same person that helped me do it the first time. I stood there for 30 minutes while she tried to figure out where my mail went. Just to find out they had started mailing my stuff to my new address, even though they have it on record that I don't have my mailbox keys from them yet!! She told me to "come back tomorrow", that they were going to ask the mail carrier to bring all my mail back. Frustrated, I came back the following day. The same woman that helped me yesterday was busy so I walked up to the older Asian man and told him I needed to check my mail. That I was waiting on my mailbox keys and my mail should be coming there. The first thing he asked me was "did you pay the 50 dollars to get your keys". I told him I had paid the deposit and gone through the checklist to make sure I had everything in place to get my keys. He then asked me for a receipt. I said I didn't bring it... I had been there YESTERDAY and they had on file my information. Well this man was ASTOUNDINGLY rude and told me he would not help me until I had that receipt. Finally the woman who helped me prior walked over and said my mail was there and that they would be helping me. The guy stomped off to get my mail. I waited 10 minutes and this guy brings out a HUGE pile of mail, most of it didn't have my name on it. It was older mail from people who used to live at my new apartment. So i started handing him back mail that wasnt ours, and he started yelling at me telling me that was our mail and tossing it across the counter at me. I explained that it wasn't my name on the mail, and he started yelling at me. He was quite literally throwing mail in my direction, so I just started passing it back. My husband and I don't subscribe to any junk mail, and half the stuff he made me take home didn't even have my name on it, or was things previous tenants at my apartment subscribed to but he wouldn't let me used their trash to throw it away. I hadn't ever been treated so terribly by anyone that's supposed to work with people. This guy shouldn't be allowed to work with the general public. I gave this place a one star only because the woman who helped me was really sweet. She alone gave this office one star. read more

This f'n office unluckily is the branch responsible for delivering our daily mail. These f'ers are so incompitent that they can't even get me my mail on a consistent basis. I've had stuff delivered to another address, stuff lost, packages supposidly left at my door step, or whatever lame ass excuse they can come up with. I'm f'n sick and tired of this b.s. Its almost to the point that when ever I have something shipped I need to have it insured or have signature required because a bunch of f'n monkeys can't read packages and put them into the correct mailbox. I wish I could get this place zero star. Very very poor service, and horrible online tracking system. They lost our packages, and looked at our eyes and said that they can not do anything and we should have ensured our package!! Please do not sent anything other than regular / daily envelops with this post. They gave us 2 tacking numbers and BOTH of them were conflict numbers. Online shows it delivered ( of course wrong place and country ) but actual sending date is even after delivery date, how could it be possible !!
