Post office employee Jag didn't know how to guide me to do a self addressed stamped envelope. It's upsetting when the person is there to assist customer to send mail the proper way but there's no help. FYI: I have lost packages in both SC and FL where the post offices won't ever even answer the phone even when you call 20 times. Customer service needs training on how to respect there life long saugus resident customers. Iwent into the pist office and mailed important paper work. Iwas NEVER DELIVERED help where is the company never received the envolope . Where is it? We have a different mail carrier ever day. i received NO MAIL FOR ONE WHOLE WEEK. Not even Junk Mail. Went to this post office mailed an expensive package, added extra for the insurance. The clerk seemed very interested in the contents of the package by way of her questions and it made me uneasy. I paid it no mind, thought i was being silly. This is the post office after all. Well guess what... package got lost its been a month now, never got delivered. I just spoke to the most wonderful clerk at 718-233-233-8354 who went above and beyond in trying to help me find a package.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. While I could type a novel, venting how horrific of an experience I've had here, I'll try my best and save your time and just tell you to steer clear. I have never experienced such rude, miserable, antisocial, and people all in one building...until now.. Not only did some miserable clerk whisper to the customer besides me that I had "illegible handwriting" but she also asked me why I was mailing my shoes back (why does it matter...?) and she was complaining saying I would be paying "an arm and a leg" but that I looked "fancy enough" to be able to afford it. If it wasn't illegal to throw a box of boots at someone's head, I would have. THE WORST post office EVER! Get your miserable old employees out of there and give their jobs to people that deserve it! read more

Although they were semi-helpful, the woman was rude while doing it. I understand it's almost coming to closing time but I felt very unwelcomed. It seemed she didn't like that I didn't really know what I was doing fully but it was my first time ever being in a post office as a new adult. I should not have to tell you: "press cust service" "press pre-paid acceptance" "press the button that says scan form 5630" "Do the number of pkgs in front of you match the amount on the form?" If yes, scan the bar code. "Wait for the receipt to print" "Stamp form 5630 with today's date" You should not snort, "this is Saugus, not Boston. We don't have to scan any form here! They sort mail there..." Dear Red-headed Wretch: Your Flagrant ignorance and piss poor attitude are boggling. If you don't know your job, the least you could do is smile through your ignorance, or take your medication. You get paid $30/hour to sell stamps, press buttons, and place packages in the appropriate bin! How difficult is that? I am stunned that I have paid extra for delivery confirmation and they don't even bother to scan the label so my customers can see that there item has been mailed!! I will never go back to that post office again!! I am very upset with them. Now I have to explain to my customers what happened and tell them to hope that one of the post offices on the way to their final destination will scan the label to verify that their package is on it's way! It really bothers me that the past several times I've come in here at 2PM (over the span of several months) that I've had to wait in line for over 30 minutes. It's painful. One person at the window with a line out the door and moving like molasses with each customer. They are there until 5PM so what's the rush for them? But to go to a post office and have only a few people in front of you and have it take more than 30 minutes (not 20, not 25, but TRULY more than 30 minutes) is insane. I feel it is disrespectful to your customer's time to just take your sweet time with a line out the door. I have never been last in line, I seem to get there when there's only 3 people ahead. So that is 30 minutes on those 3 people. Sorry to repeat myself but I just have to emphasize this as it's absolutely ridiculous. Someone is on their lunch break at this time and only one of the times did the woman at the window call into the back for someone. Otherwise she just takes her time and ignores the situation. And when she did call for someone it was after nearly 20 minutes in there with everyone getting increasingly agitated. I think they enjoy doing this to people. It's entertainment for them. read more

This is by far the worst post office I've dealt with in my life. A letter sent from in town still has not gotten to me. 2 miles from where it was sent in the same city. It has been 5 days, called to ask what the problem was and the extremely rude woman on the phone said there was no way she could help or give me any info. Severe lack of customer service ability. I needed to return something I bought on ebay. The woman there was rude and kept telling me how "unprepared" I was as if I ship packages for a living. She wanted me buy some overpriced tape to affix my shipping label to the package even though she had plenty of tape on the counter behind the window. I won't be using this Post Office again. read more

This post office has horrible customer service. I went in to ask a question about a package I wanted to mail out and the lady bit my head off.
