Several times packages have been missed at my house, and I call this post office to try and get the carrier to come back and pick them up. It used to be nearly impossible to get someone on the phone... Now it is completely impossible. I called three or four times today and got a recorded message that simply said 'No one is available to take your call' and I tried one more time and a person picked up the phone and hung up on me. No appointment for applying for passport at this location. That is why people have to come 1-2 hour before open business time to reserve the spot. Does anyone think it is the feasible way? I don't think so. People waste more time which they can use those time for something else. I witnessed people were trying to defend for their order of coming time. For example, who had come before who came such as you claimed had came at such time before me but you left meaning you lost your spot. It us so ridiculous. If I was waitin here but it was urgent I had to go restroom I lost my turn?). The system must be changed to help passport applicants to save time first. Would rate lower. Came in and ask how to send a a package. Guy with grayish hair and soft voice around age 40 already giving me this look and directed me to do it. I just need help what's with the attitude? Anyway he told me to tape it up and print out the address. I saw the tape there and thought oh cool free tape for us to use. So I used it and taped up my box and printed out the stamp was trying to send it and the guy with grayish hair again asked me to pay for the tape. I said what? And he gave me attitude about using it. I told him it was on the desk right there and someone else used it so why am I paying? He said so you saw someone else's tape and took it and use it like it's yours. I said well yeah, I didn't know whose tape it was, I thought it was free. Anyway I had to pay for the crappy tape and the guy's attitude was unappreciative. I even asked if I can get a new tape since I'm paying for the one anyway. He said no it has to be the one I used. 1 Star. Thanks a lot Gray hair guy. Pink slip they left on my door says they open at 8:30am. I get there the following day at 8:30am to see a Group of people left outside waiting, 8:45am came around and the door where still locked. I couldn't wait around, and I was not able to get my package. Please don't advertise you open at 8:30am when you do not. Awful. read more

Unbelievable bad service at this Post office. This is not the first time I had bad experience with this post office. Most people are very rude especially to Vietnamese people. It is funny that they are mostly Vietnamese themselves, shame on you! I even heard they bad mouth their non-Vietnamese coworker in Vietnamese. Today, I went in at 12:45pm for passport renewal which the hours of service is between 9am-2:30pm. There was a sign in sheet board but no sign in sheet. So I knocked on the door and open it with the intend to ask how to sign in or they even take sign in. The employees here are nice and friendly. They are informative about prices and when your letter or package will arrive to their destinations. When you come into the place, you take a number from the front. Once the machine calls your number then it is your turn to be helped. I have never had a bad experience here. The only thing is that there is limited parking in the parking lot. read more

Just tried to mail a letter after hours. Found out that the doors have an electronic lock and I don't know the code because I don't have the box in there. I can understand the need for locks if there's a safety issue or vagrancy issue but if they're going to do that they should really put a box outside of the building so you can mail the letter at the post office. read more

Very bad customer service. Terminated delivery mails to our business with a WRONGFULLY REPORT that my business had a dog and without sending us any warning / notification letter. The carrier named is Julie has always been unhappy lady and complain about everything. One day she delivery the mails to our business and there were a visitor/customer there with her dog ( it totally not our business's dog and the dog was a service dog). The dog did not do anything or attaching her and the dog's owner also was there. Plus, our staffs were aware that the dog may scares the other customers so we stand right there at the door so when the mail carrier, Julie just about to walk in our staffs stopped her at the door and got all the mails from her at the door. the carrier had never has to walk in while the dog were inside the shop with the dog's owner. To make it short, the carried went back to her work and reported that our "HOME ADDRESS" has a dog and the postal office stopped delivery mails to our business more than almost 2 months without doing any investigation or sending us any notifications, but because we are a sale business so we has been always so busy to notice that until all the banks, other services starting call and complain that we were late on the bills and requested us to report them the new address??? Then that the times we realized that we have not received any mails for that long without received any warning/ notification letter from postal office. We then called the Postal customer services number the find out what really happened and the local postal office 's supervisor named is Quang Nguyen sent us an email saying that we have the dog in our address and the postal office has to stop delivery mails to us and because we have never come to postal office to pick up the mails so all the mails sent back to the sender????? The supervisor also asked us to come to the postal office to discuss with him about the issue but Quang never mentioned the date and time on his email so we guess we can come during business hours. We went there two times, in the morning at around 10:00 am and one of the rep told us that Quang has never been at the office in the morning and Quang will be available after 2:00 pm. We came back at 2: 45pm same day. There was another Rep named is Nhu asked us the reason and let us waited for at least 20 minutes then Nhu came back and asked us " do you have the dog at your house? that the reason why we stopped delivery mails to your home". We corrected her that # 1 : that was not the home's address that is a business address and # 2 that the dog from the customer and it is not belong to our shop. Nhu was surprised and she told us to call the carrier's direct supervisor ( she mentioned some name Harvier may be I spelled it wrong) but Nhu has never gave me any information of the other supervisor???? Nhu was even dare us to call the customer service to file a complain. So much confused and so much for us to take it we was about to ask for another rep to help us more information and all of them ignored and pretended that they don't hear us and walked away. Believe me, I was shocked and was so mad at such a very bad experience at the Postal Office here in America. They are so irresponsible and were so unprofessional. I think The Postal office need Higher rank officer to come and check on all the staffs who worked there at this local postal office in Golden West, their work not really worth it for what they get paid for, my opinion. They need more training and better work ethic. People need to take pride on their work and for us to appreciate their services. The Postal Office in 1530 Golden West Cir, Westminster Ca 92683 really need to make a change. I hope the City of Westminster takes it more serious on this matter because they can not careless of customer's mails especially this is a BUSINESS MAILS. This post office is a joke. The lady that th dealt with yelled at me because u asked if she had any tape. Got some tape, then she started making a scene, and ealked away with a ton of customers waiting to ship their stuff. Then once I found tape I talked to the guys who was the one in charge. He insisted that I couldn't get a receipt because it was prepaid. When I tried to explain to him that u did this same thing a couple months ago at the garden grove office and they had no problem giving me a receipt, he literally tossed my package at me. Which contained something worth $700 in it. If i find out this item is damaged ivwill he filing a lawsuit. read more

I like this post office because it's open until 5:30pm on weekdays and open on Saturdays. These hours have been a real lifesaver. The people working there are generally friendly. When they are busy, parking can get a little difficult and you might be there for a half hour to mail your packages. Usually the wait is much less or none at all. read more

I love this post office i go there all the time the staff is always help full and they re open till 5:30pm. This post office basically scammed me by "purposely' pretending not to see that I sent my package in a flat rate padded envelope. They refused to help me solve my issue or even give me a refund for something that was not my fault. I was charged for normal priority mail, even though my envelope clearly stated "padded flat rate envelope". That is $13, as opposed to $6, which is a HUGE difference for a college student like me. I did not even ask for a refund as late as most do, I literally came in ONE HOUR after I noticed that I was charged wrongly. The man states that he does not remember my package with a smile, a clear sign of bad intention to me. I even offered to come in and show other padded flat rate envelopes to see if it would jog his apparently short-term memory, but they even said that was pointless as the item shipped already. Why not let me try and prove it? Why would you brush off a customer with an actual problem? This was not my fault, but you decided not to help me take care of it. I've been to this place twice and it's the worst post office I've been too. I went the first time to help my mom renew her passport and a second time today to pick up my package. When I went here for my moms passport renewal the viet lady working gave my mom attitude. This time, picking up my package, I was helped by the same viet lady. I was suppose to get a package delivered but no one was home to receive it and I called USPS customer service for help and they said I would be able to pick it up at this office. This viet lady asked for my information and my ID. I gave her all of my info but only had a picture of my ID which she said wasn't acceptable. With only 15 mins left before the office closed I called someone to bring my ID and a minute before they came she finally decided to check the back only to tell me that my package was still on the truck and not at the post office yet and the only thing I could do was come back tomorrow. Actually bullshit. She could've checked for the package when I gave her my info to begin with and wait for me to have my ID to hand it over but she decided to wait right before my friend came with the ID. I only went to this post office because I had to this time. I've been to many other post offices around the area and they all beat this location. read more

I recovered my 2 packages because the packages ended up at the wrong location. I checked online for the tracking number and they say that they already delivered the packages at the front of my house. I check outside and there was nothing, so I walked to my neighbors house and the packages were on their front porch. When I tried to complain on the phone, the man was very rude to me. The post office opens at 9am today Sat. April 1st but we got here at 7 am to line up for our passport. You MUST COME EARLY! they only allow 30 people to check in for a passport and that's it. We got very lucky because we were number 30. Phew! Luckily I called ahead of time and the lady on the phone informed me. I had all my paper worked filled out because if you didn't they will just hand you the paper work and tell you to get back in line. Come prepared! Call or go online and check out all the items you need to bring. She also said to bring a chair, food, drinks and whatever I wanted because I was going to wait a very long time. I'm so glad I called! I'm sitting comfy in my lawn chair eating my trail mix and coffee in my cup holder. I am the last person so we won't be seen until 3pm. And if you're not here when they call your name they will go to the next person in line. Soooo... hubby and I take turns camping out at the post office. read more

This is in regards to the "supervisor" joe and 15030 goldenwest Cir. I have never been more disrespected by a so called professional let alone one in charge of a facility. He was incredibly rude to me in front of at least 10 other customers in the post office. He refused my hold on my mail until I could get the form of id need for a po box from all my roommates and had the lady at the desk throw away my slip in front of me and proceeded to walk out of the room as I was still talking. When I called back to make an appointment to speak to the post master Mike I was told that they knew who I was and that they wouldn't make an appointment for me to speak with him I could just keep showing up until I catch him there when he can talk. If any of my employees treated a guest like that no one would return to our restaurant, on top of that they'd be written up if not fired. My mail will now be getting delivered somewhere else and I will never step foot in this building again. I hope who ever post master mike is is embarrassed by his employees lack of respect for customers. I hope when his supervisor joe stops acting like a child with a grudge against someone who has done nothing to him he can be retrained. I left this place on the verge of tears, my mind is blown. Worst post office ever. Wait 30min to be called and then had to deal with a Vietnamese woman working there: she insisted I had to buy another shipping label even though my package already had one. I paid $10 on eBay since I sold it there, the printing ink was bad so I had to rewrite some numbers on. She yelled at me as if I was cheating and when I asked how much it weight she said she doesn't know!!! I asked her to put it on the scale. She told me the package was 5lbs while it was actually 7.5lbs!!! All she wanted is made me pay for a new shipping label which cost $6! Does anyone in So Cal need a new PASSPORT? If so, I would recommend going to the Buena Park Library. We originally went to the Main General Mail Facility Post Office in Long Beach at 8:30am, but they had a 3 hour wait! We then went to the Westminster Post Office at 9am and stood in line. The line was about 10 people in line, so we thought it wouldn't be too bad. We were in line for about 30 minutes and it turned out this line was only to have the postal worker check to see if we had all of our documents. Since the passport was for our daughter who is only 14, we had to get a NEW passport for her. The postal worker said since she's only 14, she needed her school ID, and we would have to go home and bring it back. But then we asked why do we need a school ID when we had her current passport. Is her school ID more official than a passport??? The postal worker then asked her supervisor, and said the passport is OK. We were now #20 on her passport sign-in list. They only take 20 on Saturdays. She then said it would be another 2 - 3 hour wait and we had to be here when they called our name, or we would lose our spot. We waited in the Lobby. They called a family into the locked room and I turned on my stop watch. They were in the room for over 15 minutes. They then called the next family, #4! We then decided to go to the Buena Park Library 714-826-4100. They open at 12 noon on Saturdays, but we decided to go early and wait. We got there at 10:45am, and they were already open for business. There was only 1 family in front of us to check in. The family had to fill out their paperwork, so we were next up. After checking in, we talked to the Supervisor about our adventure in Long Beach and Westminster. After about 5 minutes, the passport processing agent was ready for us. We spent about another 5 minutes answering questions and signing documents, and we were done! So amazing! Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Best kept secret in So. Cal. read more

Literally one star is too much for them. This place is horrid! Customers service from the "supervisors" and "post-master" are non-existence. They lost some very important documentations that I was sending to court, and did not even bother to look for it nor take responsibility. All they can say every time is "leave your phone number and we'll call you". I was gullible enough to do it 3 times!!!
