The neon sign said open but no one came to the door or answered the phone and there were 4 cars waiting. Further, there was glass in the parking lot and WORST OF ALL was watching one disgruntled person FORCE THE AUTO SLIDING DOORS OPEN! What?! Aren't they supposed to be locked and this place secure? How could someone slide them open with ease?! How would or could I as a prospective customer ever want to store my stuff here?! No thanks. Unreliable. Untrustworthy. Poor business practices.

I moved in and told I would get credit for having my own storage lock key for my next promo month. I only needed it for two months while my apartment was ready. I never got the credit and when I went in the go ask about it I accidentally said "refund" and Jarrius who was working at the front kept coming at me with technicalities and saying "we don't do refunds" which I understood, so I just explained how I was upset that I didn't ever get my promo when I was gonna cancel and instead he raised his voice explaining the same thing again. I just gave up. So useless, and disappointing because when I first came in he was so nice and helpful. They sure know how to get you in and when they take your money they just treat you that way. Found roaches and ants in my storage anyway.

Skip it. Bait and switch. Reserved a unit with specific dimensions. First couldn't find my…read morereservation. Had to show him the email. Couldn't find my info because supposedly my name was reversed. Pretty sure I know how to type in the order of my damn name. Then the guy (Don't know his name. Has a mohawk and tat on the right arm) proceeded to show me a more expensive unit and not the units matching what I reserved. How do I know? He asked me the upselling questions and never showed me the reserved unit and said none of them were available to show until the day of the move-in? Then why have me reserve? Do you think I'm dumb enough to rent a unit I've never seen? They have 2 dollies for the entire building btw. Then he was performing some speech, pumping up the storage building like a sales pitch he just learned in his Management 101 Class. Cut the bullshit. And show me the unit I reserved. I finally had to share with him I've rented for a decade at all different types of storage companies so I already have experience of what makes a good or bad storage company. This guy either needs more training or put in another role. He wasn't receptive to being challenged with feedback. The whole fake salesman persona was offputting. Come to find out this is new management which they should have been upfront about. They've only been here a month. You can tell if you ever have issues with this storage location that they're going to have every excuse. Bottom line is if I reserve a unit online, I expect to be shown a unit that matches that criteria. What a waste of time. And please don't tell me to email your generic customer service email regarding this situation which will most likely go nowhere. But at least, I can warn people to not rent here.

Right now I had to give Cherry Carson RV a 3 only because of RJ who works the front desk. RJ…read morewouldn't let us speak to the manager Jay after already speaking to Jay in regard to work information on the application to rent a space. Our insurance which we do have, made a mistake on the VIN info. And RJ wouldn't let us talk to Jay to explain. He refused our rental. We needed to store our trailer because the city of Carson is giving tickets for parking our trailer outside of our house while we are preparing to move. We left and found another storage in Orange County when Daniel called and said that we could get the space at Cherry Carson RV because they offer their own insurance. Even though we have proof of insurance. So thank you Daniel for doing your job and fixing what RJ couldn't. The place seems clean and secure. Easy access. It's close to our home. So the value of that alone is helpful. I will update in a month on any changes.
