Check this, you can get in from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day 365 days per year. Entry and exit is very easy. Located at Main and Katella in Orange. About 2 miles from Chapman Univ. Securty is very good. The setting is very safe. Jim who runs the place showed me the unit before I signed any paperwork. They have a store in the office that sells moving supplies at very competitive prices. Make sure to get a storage unit in the air conditioned unit. Unfortunately we had to throw a lot of our things away because they were completely covered in mouse poop. A neighboring unit also told us her unit was also covered in mouse droppings. The items we had in the temperature controlled building were completely clean and still in great condition but that other unit was awful!! I can imagine keeping mice away is difficult from a place like this but in the couple months we had our things there I only saw one mouse trap. It would have been nice to see a bit more in terms of preventative measures. We definitely lost a few thousand dollars worth of belongings because I was not going to risk keeping any of our baby's things read more

I am really sad I did like US Storage however we are in a pandemic. I am not working due to my loss of my job my industry is non-essential. BUT US Storage decided it was a great time to raise my unit rent. I give $1 to their charity because they asked me too and always pay when I am late and the late fee because they still make you pay that even though I am having a hard time with money. I am struggling like many Americans but thanks for NOT helping US Storage. I am going in today to pay my late fee and HIGHER rent but going to another storage place that is helping struggling people like me, Thank god there are companies out there that understand. I STRONGLY SUGGEST DO NOT RENT FROM THIS FACILITY!! They RAISE RENTS after your first 4months, then 6 months after that and 6 months after that!! And After the 3rd rent raise (I moved in 3/2020 and got the heck out 8/2021) YES THREE RENT RAISES!!! You ask before renting "how often is rent raised?" Mgr Jenny stated the first 6 months but call me and I can get it reduced then once a year after that. My first rent raise was 4 months and yes Mgr Jenny was able to get $5.00 reduction with a firm promise not another raise in rent for 1 year. FALSE!! 6 months later ANOTHER RENT RAISE!! Mgr Jenny not only could do NOTHING to back up her "1 year promise" nor another reduction in the new raised rent but had the nerve to say the unit was worth more than I was paying but again I would not receive another rent raise for a year!! Again FALSE!! I got ANOTHER RENT RAISE IN 6 months at which time I called and left 3 messages for Jenny who could not return my call. I moved out of this MONEY HUNGRY STORAGE FACILITY AND YOU SHOULD STAY AWAY AS WELL!! I WAS AND STILL AM WITH I5 STORAGE in Tustin. I have been with I5 since 2008 and was going to move my Son's belongings to US Storage should this have worked out but I am happy to say I removed my belongings from US storage to a larger unit at I 5 stortage in Tustin where they treat their customers with HONESTY AND DO NOT RAISE RENTS Except MINIMAL ONCE A YEAR and is a very CLEAN AND SECURE RENTAL Facility!! So far so good. Call was answered immediately to ask about height of unit. I reserved the unit online and then went in with my stuff. The check in process was very short, about 10 minutes. Paid for the unit, set up auto pay, got my lock, everyone. The man working showed me how to use the lock, let me put in my code for the gate so I'd know how to use it, took me to my unit, showed me how to open everything up and let me lock up. If you are looking for a clean and secure storage facility this is your place. We use this location for our business storage needs and recently got our own unit for personal use. The office staff are friendly and very helpful. The buildings have elevators and carts which makes getting in and out easy. I like that the staff live onsite and the units have alarms. I can say their prices are competitive if not better as well. In an effort to stay on a budget I did search other locations and US Storage had the better deal for us. read more
