Nick Renn, our Sales & Design Consultant agreed. He stated he would consult with Kat Reyes, the Claims Processor. There must be a lot of issues with their company if you have a dedicated Claims Processor! She was poor at best returning phone calls and emails and attempting to resolve the situation. She finally responded, correspondence and invoicing attached ( a must read), stating we did receive the incorrect tile and the manufacturer agreed. There is full acknowlegement in writing from Catalfamo Flooring that I received the wrong tile - confirming it was not what we had orderd. You think in todays world she would simply state they made a mistake and let us resolve it as soon as possible. You can read her excuses in the attachment below. Our hope was to pick a different tile to be credited against what we had already paid. We chose another tile that totaled $2,262.00 plus tax. We would be fine with that option. Kat wanted to charge us freight an a restocking fee for the incorrect tile order we recieved and then charge us freifgt again for the replacement tile. They actually want to charge us freight three times and a restocking fee for thier mistake - unbelieveable! Kat continues to place blame on the manufacturer and thier policies. We did not purchase the tile from the manufaturer. We purchased the tile from Catalfamo Flooring and they should be responsible for thier mistakes. How can she not understand this is not thier responsibility. It gets better! I then recieve an invoice for the replacement tile and they want an additional $1,078.30 on top of the previously paid $2,996.00. The replacement tile we chose, in an attempt to reslove the situation is less than what we originally purchaesd. How does that math work? Both invoices are attached below. I wish Kat and Catalfamo Flooring would stand up and be professional. They continue to kick the can down the road and I am tired of playing games. If you read their reviews, this behavior is a common practice. Shame on me for not thoroughly reading the reviews as I would have stayed away! You will also notice thier latest review on July 20th on Google Reviews, they wrote thier own positive review. It was submitted by the Flooring Department, no customer names as the other reviews. I would suggest for those that have taken the time to read this that you shop for tile at Floor & Decor at 2100 Sunrise Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311. Their service is great, wonderful selection and pricing with a seemless return policy - no questions asked. You can return as much or as little tile as you wish. I think we ended up checking them out because they were open on a Sunday and we were pleasantly surprised! There was a nice variety of product and the service was excellent. I don't remember the name of our salesperson, only that I was amazed that he was still in high school but so poised and knowledgeable about countertops! We decided on a quartzite slab for our kitchen and got a very reasonable price. Half Price Countertops cuts, fabricates, and installs the slab. We had to wait for our cabinets to be installed first, but as soon as they were done we called, and Half Price Countertops was immediately ready to start the installation process. They did a beautiful job and the kitchen counters look amazing! We did have one small glitch where our dishwasher did not fit after installation. We called the company and spoke to the owner. He said he wanted to make sure we were completely happy and within a couple of days someone was there to fix the issue. We are extremely happy with our kitchen countertop and I would highly recommend this company: Great product, service, and value!

There was a nominal $350 materials removal fee, and the rest of the job cost about $3200. From the first measuring visit to installation took about 2 weeks. The installers spent around 3 hours on site, doing a fine job of caulking every crevice and drilling the faucet ports exactly to our specification. My biggest concern was affixing the undermount sinks securely, as I've read the undermount brackets cannot support much weight. The installers solved the problem with robust and elegantly installed 2x4 braces. The sinks could support the weight of an elephant. I very much appreciate getting this installed before the holidays, and not getting screwed. Thank you.

I'll start by saying that I don't like leaving bad reviews…read more I began this order on April 9 with a sample tile from Bati Orient. Unfortunately, the sample arrived scratched. I contacted Richard and explained the issue, and he reached out to Bati Orient on my behalf. Their response was that because I had already taken the sample with me, there was nothing they could do. Richard advised me that when I placed the full order, I should inspect the tiles at the warehouse before accepting them. I ordered 30 tiles, and approximately 16 of them were damaged. I took the tiles that appeared to be in acceptable condition and left the damaged ones at the warehouse, expecting them to be replaced. The following week, Richard contacted me and explained that Marline, the manager of the Sunrise store, had informed him that the manager at the Hialeah location had inspected and cleaned the remaining tiles and determined that they were fine. I told Richard that I found this difficult to believe because the tiles I had seen were visibly scratched and dented. The tiles were then sent to the Sunrise location. When I inspected them there, I found the same scratches and dents. It was clear that they had not been properly inspected. I called Richard, explained the situation, and left without accepting the tiles. Richard informed Bati that the tiles needed to be replaced. However, Bati appeared reluctant to do so, stating that I had already received a $94 credit because the Hialeah manager had determined that the damaged tiles were acceptable. That assessment was simply not accurate. Bati later sent eight additional tiles, and Richard specifically asked that they be carefully inspected before being shipped. Richard then contacted me to let me know that the tiles had arrived at the Sunrise location and that Marline and her assistant had inspected them and they were fine. When I arrived on Saturday, July 18--more than a month after this process began--I inspected the eight tiles and found that six of them were damaged. I spent approximately two hours with Marline trying to determine whether any of the tiles could be salvaged. Ultimately, I left without them. Marline encouraged me to take the tiles, but I could not accept visibly damaged merchandise. Richard called me on Monday, July 20, and explained that he had instructed the Sunrise location to send the tiles directly to him so that he could personally try to resolve the matter, since the issue had been ongoing for more than a month. I do not want this to come across as arrogant, but my home is highly customized, luxurious, and carefully designed. I cannot install expensive specialty tiles that are scratched, dented, or otherwise damaged. These are premium tiles, and I expect the quality to reflect the price. I live in Naples, and each round trip to the store is approximately 200 miles. I have already made the trip three times, totaling roughly 600 miles. My time is also extremely limited because I own and manage four different companies. I have spent thousands of dollars with D&B. One wall alone, spanning approximately 100 feet, cost nearly $5,000. I am also considering purchasing another home, but this experience has made me hesitant to purchase additional tile from Bati Orient. I would like to emphasize that Richard has been an outstanding salesperson throughout this process. He has consistently tried to help and has continued working toward a resolution. People frequently ask me where I purchased these tiles, but because of this experience, I am currently hesitant to recommend Bati Orient. Richard deserves recognition for his professionalism, patience, and continued assistance in trying to resolve this situation. Thank you
