Brought my truck here for an easy sensor replacement. They took forever to fix it after having to call 5 times. When I got my key back it was completely destroyed. They refused to take responsibility for it and told me that I brought it in that way and told me to leave. Now I'm out the money for repair AND my $300 key. Thanks for nothing. read more

Having two different makes of cars requires me to use different places for the maintenance and upkeep for them. I have the car my wife drives a Chevy Impala which is the primary car we use. And I have Mercury Grand Marquis which is more like my work car or A-B car you know get you to from point A to point B. Well when my A-B car needed a oil change I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a premium oil change for a car I only drive a couple of times a week. So I headed to USA Motors. On the corner of 1000 Oaks and Wetmore the place with the $22 Oil change sign up front. USA Motors is ran by Far and his son they have been doing our state inspections on our cars for years now, and offers great honest and friendly service. Go there once, and he will remember you. I was glad to see that the place has grown to a full auto repair center. A step from the simple auto preventive and maintenance center they use to be when they first opened a few years ago. Anyway I got my oil change for $22 dollars that's including the oil recycle fee. Of course It was a generic oil, but I didn't care it's for my A-B car. I was in and out in a little over 30 minutes. Beats going to Wal-Mart and waiting 1 and a half hours, then shopping and spending more money on stuff you don't need while you're waiting. Overall I gave 4 stars cause It is not neatest auto repair place you will go to. And, It could use a nicer waiting room, free coffee, and a flat screen TV. But, for the price it's definitely worth bringing your A-B car. read more

He checks them out and tells me what needs to be fixed. He is honest and very reliable. He is very reasonable in what he charges. I never feel like he is taking advantage and overcharging me. Giving 3 stars cuz they helped me when I was in a jam. But the mechanic/owner whoever was so rude. While my girlfriend waited in car so I can check us in, he came in and snapped at me to tell whoever was in the car to get out. The only reason I took it was because the liner in the front end was dragging and I couldn't drive home. But way to kick me while I'm down. Zero stars. I can't understand how everyone else was treated so well. Here's my story: I talked to Bezad about a simple fix under my car replacing the shift linkage bushings. For my model it cannot be done from the inside I explained so I needed to bring it in. He said sure bring it in. I paid for a tow to get my car there and he calls me back saying he doesn't work on cars "like mine." Wtf? Did he mean VWs? I asked what that meant he said he doesn't work on cars that have already been worked on and I need to get my car out of his shop bc he's expecting more business from other ppl. He must not know how easy this fix is. Disappointed I explained the fix in three steps. He said they never lifted the car instead they were trying to reach the bushings from the inside but stripped a screw and he's not interested in working on it!! I offered more money for his time and he said NO! I could have done this fix from home but I would rather pay someone else. That was an obvious sign he didn't know how to make the fix. Very disappointing but eye opening. A day later I pay for a second tow, down the street to David at thousand oaks auto. He was nice and his team finished my car in 2 hours and for a reasonable price. Bezad told me he could fix it instead he wasted my time and money. His business and word are jokes to me and he's the worst mechanic I've ever met. read more

I Love this place! I have went to dozens of mechanics (technicians) that were either super lazy, try to dumb down the customer, and weren't willing to give you a direct answer to a problem or solution. If you have to leave your car (over night), they call before anything is done. They're tough workers and alway stay busy. You'll never see anyone standing around this shop with nothing in their hands. I have two Chevy's that come here whenever I'm having trouble with them (due to rough driving in the great outdoors). I bring my Chevy's here for just about everything from, Oil Changes, Tire Rotation, Alignment, and Brakes. Until it's next maintenance check, this is the ONLY reasons why I bring them in (never because of a faulty job). I been here a total of 8 times and referred two people from the south side to make the drive over. This place deserves your business. read more

I decided to take my 17 year old's car to them after reviewing the previous reviews that I read on yelp. Behzad is an honest shop owner who won't fix something if it's not broken. It took him several hours to pinpoint why her 2001 Subaru was not excelling properly. He figure it out and charged a really fair price. I suggested a few things that I thought I was going to get worked on and said there is no need to do that right now. It's running good for the age of the car. Who does that? Found myself in a strange town with an A/C problem in the middle of a TEXAS summer. Saw their sign for A/C repair. I was quoted a price (reasonable) and a time frame (fast) to repair the coolant leak and recharge the system. After completing that, the co-owner (?), Behzad, discovered another problem. He plugged in the diagnostic computer and saw that one of three doors inside the dash was malfunctioning. The computer told him that this was a DEALER ONLY repair. He said "nonsense" and reached up under the dash pulled 3 screws and off came the malfunctioning part! The A/C was frigid ! He said that all would be fine without that part until we needed to turn on the heater. Altho it took him twice as long as his estimate, he charged me the ONLY the original quoted price. As I sat in the waiting room, repeat customers came and went. The owner was addressing them by first name. He told one that he was out of State Inspection stickers until the next week. He suggested that he go down the street to another shop, whereby the man said he'd just come back next week. With all the bad press Auto shops get, this seems to be one that understands the importance of repeat business. Good on ya! read more

Do not trust them. If you take your car to them and they screw up, they will not own up to it.

So my AC stopped blowing cold air and I needed it fixed ASAP as the days were getting hotter and hotter! So I looked online and found a coupon for a "free" ac check at pep boys. I took it in there and of course it wasn't free it was $60 to run the test to see what was wrong. Turns out I had a leak in my low side suction hose they told me it was going to be $175 for labor $60- $80 for the hose, and $70 for the charge up to refill the coolant or freon or what ever all leaked out?? And all that was on top of the $60 I just paid to diagnose what was wrong with it!?! Not to mention it was going to take 4 days just for my part to come in! I told them no thanks I'll call around well on my way home I saw USA motors on the corner and it said AC work on the side of the building so I called. So glad I did! He looked at my car and said he could rebuild that hose and charge it all up and have it blowing cold air by tomorrow morning and it would Cost me half of what pep boys wanted to charge me. Also I mentioned to pep boys that the guy at auto zone said my fans weren't spinning and I needed to have them look at that when they looked at the ac, I even told pep boys to look at them while they were doing the ac check and thy didn't even check them. USA motors looked at them for me did a quick $45 test and found out that one of the fans burnt out so I told him to replace that to and he charged me only parts and labor didn't charge me the $45 for the test. He even told me if I didn't have the money i didn't have to get the fan fixed right away I could still drive my car and use the ac it just won't get as cold when it's sitting or idling. I ended up getting it fixed to prevent any other future problems but I was very surprised with how curteous and honest they were its hard to find that now a days. Well long story short my car is blowing cold ac again and they got it done in one day for half the cost of pep boys and found a problem that pepboys looked right over and fixed that for me fast as well and at a fair price. They didn't try to nickel and dime me because I'm a female that knows absolutely nothing about cars, and I could tell they were courteous and appreciated my business.
