The hours this location has has been a lifesaver for me. My local mail gets taken to the Greenville location when it's registered and requires signature, giving me unlimited stress, headaches and problems. The hours are just too inconvenient with my work and work travel time and closed Saturdays! This office however has always had the hours and days to help me accommodate, especially if you have a PO Box. Went in to get a pass port and it took A very long time! It was my fault though should have made a appointment. I was there for about 1.5-2hrs waiting for only two groups of people in front of me. One group was in and out, but there was a group in there for about an Hr or so, I'm sure there is prob a good reason they took long but still there was like 3-4 people behind me and it would been nice to have a other person start a other group of applications. read more

Yes, most post office personnel are the absolute worst with customer service. But this place takes the cake. The morning crew during the week have the worst attitudes I have ever seen. Why do these people always find it necessary to act like we are interrupting them? Could it be because they think they can't lose their job? The post office has never had competition in the past and because they are union member these people have always worked under the assumption they will always have a job and can treat their customers however they want without consequences. I guess they are forgetting that some of their "stamp" customers also own businesses that use UPS and FedEx for shipping small packages. I would NEVER consider switching the 20-30 packages a week I ship with UPS & FedEx to the Post Office. Terrible, terrible attitudes with these people. read more

I went to this post office for the first time today, after years of using the one on Adams. What a difference! I've come to assume that being sullen and confused is a job requirement for P.O. employees, but was happy to be proven wrong today. In this post office, everyone seems friendly, competent, and eager to help. I saw a handful of interactions between customers and staff while I waited in line. In every case, the employee was helpful and attentive, making sure he or she understood the customer's needs and getting the job done quickly and with a smile. My own experience was no exception. Nestor helped me buy wedding-themed stamps (something I had already tried and failed to do at the Adams office). He made sure I got the right kind of stamps, showed me lots of options, and even told me which ones were most popular. The transaction was quick and easy, and he even packed all of my stamps together in an envelope. I will definitely be coming here from now on. read more

I live in the middle of this larger post office and the one on Greenville/Edinger. I prefer this one as there is a small parking lot. The latter PO you have to park on the street (I hate parallel parking.) But really not that big of deal. This one usually has at least three attendants available; the latter PO has two if you're lucky. But my number one reason why I prefer this location is their extended hours and they're open on Saturday. read more

The Tustin post office of First St. Sucks! I came here because the Tustin office was completely useless and sent me here. Then this office tells me that what I need done has to get done at Tustin, and they dont know why Tustin sent me to them. Well, here is where most people that work for USPS turn into jerks and send me back to Tustin. Except this person said, "No problem, I will handle it from here so you dont have to drive back there." This is a review of the manager at this location AMBER she is an extremely unfriendly, angry, rude person who should not be in a managerial position solely due to the fact she makes customers extremely unhappy. I use this post office almost daily for my job. And I have now had 3 bad experiences with just her, 3 days in a row. I thought it might just be me. But this morning another customer had a negative experience with her. And others started chiming in during this horrible experience stating they always have issues with her unfriendly rude customer service. It's unfortunate because otherwise this post office is extremely fast, even when there's a line of 10 plus customers waiting. I hope the others will report her as they stated they would today. Amber should not be a manager, it's not for her. Managers are supposed to fix problems for customers and instead Amber continuously makes customers unhappy. Please USPS do something to ensure she no longer has these interactions with customers. I will no longer use this post office even though it's right around the corner from me due to her. I feel on egg shells when I have to go there. Please USPS get rid of her! read more

I just had the best experience I have ever had in a post office in my life. This place was so helpful. I needed to mail in a passport renewal and Stella there went above and beyond helping me. She took all my forms and put them in proper order and stapled it together. She alos reminded me to put my date of birth on my check per the instructions. She was wonderful. She called my on 01/04/13 to tell me she received the card, but with no gift card. I called Target to cancel the card, but instead was informed the card was fully redeemed ($90) at the Westminster store. Upon further investigation, I learned the regional processing/distribution center is located in Santa Ana (right next to Westminster). Southern California mail goes here before it's sent to it's destination. I filed a complaint with the postal inspector online and an inspector "investigated" the incident. He had me send a copy of the receipt to him and asked me numerous questions. He ended up sending me an e-mail stating, "They are following leads, and the post office values my continued business." I pretty much knew they weren't going to follow up. I called the Target store and they notified me of the exact time the gift card was redeemed and the register. They could have pulled the cash register surveillance upon request from authorities (postal inspectors), but they didn't bother to do so. Basically, I urge anyone who's had mail stolen my postal employees to file a complaint. They won't do anything just for lil ol me, but if there's numerous complaints, they may actually do something. read more

I sent a certified letter with a money order to a bank and it was lost by this Post Office. They suck. Now I have to track down the letter, call the post office and spend hours finding out what happened. I'll probably spend the extra money and go with FEDEX or UPS from now on. Quick and easy for dropping off packages. I got during the day 11-1pm and it's usually fast service. But I always hand my pre labeled packages to someone. I saw a postal working loading the bin just throwing the packages in. I hope there were no fragile items in there are they are now damaged goods!! read more

This post office is so convenient, but it can use some work with the passport renewal system. If you have all day to wait in line, and have the time having your name get pushed back then it's not so bad. The original issue lies within the person behind the counter. I came in not knowing the process to renew my passport. I expected it to be a process, but it would have been a smoother process if the lady at the counter had me fill out the correct form. I ended up sending in the incorrect form, which I didn't realize until 3 weeks after sending my forms in. It all goes both ways. I could have been more thorough with the documents I needed, but they could have been more thorough over what I already had before sending over my documents. I even double checked with them to make sure that I had everything I needed. Disappointing and time consuming. I could have done more research as to what I should have done, but I relied on their assistance assuming that they would know from right and wrong considering they do this everyday. They try their best, and probably deal with a ton of incompetent individuals daily, but they don't care very much because a delayed passport won't affect their personal lives. read more

Not only are they open until 7pm on weekdays but they have late collection times on Saturdays as well!
