For an entree I had the Chicken Sausage and Egg Benedict. Honestly, this had to be one of the best Benedicts I've ever had. I don't know what they're putting in their sauce, but it was delicious. Came with a small side salad and crispy potatoes. Had a Matcha latte with skim milk. They do not add sweetener which I appreciate. The server was extremely sweet and kind. We were in NYC for the Winter holidays between Hanukkah, Christmas and New Years Eve 2026. We went to a funny and delightful English "Who Done It" Off Broadway play call "The Play Where Everything Wrong". So our appetites were ready for a post theatre dining adventures. My wife is a huge Sponge Bob cartoon fan DEMANDED the "Sponge Bob Crib" which had Rich Soju, Lemonade & Pineapple and Agave. Beautiful and yummy! I had the "Purple Moon" with a ice sphere, rice wine & raspberry wine fusion with a smooth glue. Our sophisticated 21 years old son ordered an "Expresso Martini" with fresh ingredients brewed expresso mix and rum & lime. All were very well-received and incredible tasting. Bravo! I turned to UT47 after watching our show because we needed a late-night dinner spot that offered strong vegan options. Lucky for me, they absolutely delivered in that regard. This late night bar features a plethora of Korean options that would satisfy anyone. Aside from fancy drinks, there was a strong selection of dosirak meals for dinner that we all decided to go in on. Mine included soy meat bulgolgi over rice with a vegan egg, served with a side of veggie gyoza, beansprouts, and pickled cucumbers. My meal came inside a large bentou box and I gotta say, it was a lot of food even for someone that was ready to ravage some morsels near midnight. The rice had such a great blend of flavors and the bulbolgi tasted just like how I remembered it once upon a time ago. Being at night, service ended up being a bit slower but I don't blame them since it was mostly one or two individuals serving the entire bar. Be prepared for a small wait if you order food at night. I had the vegan tacos and makgeolli. The tacos were pretty interesting, with some rice, pickled veggies, and mock chicken inside, and topped with a creamy mayo based sauce. The makgeolli was mostly sweet and a little bit tart. The happy hour - one entree and a drink - is a decent deal at about $32 total with tax and tip (for the vegan option, which is slightly more expensive than the meat option). Getting just the food, or both at regular prices, wouldn't feel as worth it. The environment is definitely more of a bar than a restaurant - the music was already blasting at 8 PM. I was surprised by this place with a decent chicken sausage and eggs benedict. The potatoes were crispy and the side salad was well executed! I tried a bite of my friend's chicken mandu and they were crispy as well. I had the grapefruit honey tea which was tasty but too sweet, I'll have to ask for another cup of hot water next time. UT47 is a perfect place for a pre-theater brunch! I was looking for something nearby to my matinee show and decided to try this place out. I am so glad that I did. They don't take reservations, so we had to wait about 15 mins, which was well worth it. Once seated, they were very efficient at taking our orders and bringing out our food! For my main, I went with the Sweet Baked Bacon Egg's Benedict (Waffle). I love waffles, bacon, and egg's benedict so this was the perfect pairing to me. The waffle had a maple syrup batter so it was already decision and sweet. The eggs were perfectly cooked. The dish also came with seasoned potatoes, which were delicious. The most suprising, however, was the salad. It was so yummy and had hints of Korean flavors in it, which I loved. For my drink, I got the London Fog. We came here to eat for a late lunch. The inside of this place is very cutesy an slightly upscale. We ordered the #6-V. Tofu Bacon & Vegan Egg, on Bagel and Penny-Benny #3-V Vegan Soy Chicken. The first sandwich came with a blueberry muffin/cupcake, the second with crispy potatoes, and both plates cane with a side salad. Everything tasted good. Our waitress was very nice, and gave the two vegan meals (mine included) a vegan blueberry muffin which was warm and very tasty! I ordered the avocado toast and the green juice. LOVED the green juice - not pictured, but they gave you a huge glass! I liked the avocado toast - it was a nice mix of flavors, felt healthy, and was tasty. Breaking my rule to not give five stars to any place I've only gone to once, but I'm doing it with UT47! This brunch/lunch/Korean fusion place was, in a word, spectacular. I had the avocado toast with a poached egg (you can have this vegan as well) -- and this was hands down the best avocado toast I've ever had. How they got such a fresh, flavorful avocado in the dead of winter is beyond me, but I'm not going to question it! The highlight of the dish, though, was the lemon dressing that was on the salad and the toast. So bright -- and the greens were as fresh as the avocado. It also came with a tiny chocolate brownie -- a wee sweet to compliment perfectly the savory meal. My friend ordered the chicken dumplings, which were excellent. He also had the beef tacos, which I didn't taste, but which he raved about. I bet any of these could be made vegetarian or vegan -- and if not, there are plenty of both types of options, so people with all sorts of dietary needs will be happy here. The restaurant is tiny -- you definitely want to make a reservation; even with one, there was a (short) wait. The line otherwise went out the door. Important to note that they only let you order from the happy hour menu during happy hour and not from the entree menu. They let me order a dessert because my friend ordered from the happy hour menu. The happy hour menu is $25 for a drink and dish, but I didn't like any of the dishes offered (more limited menu than tapas) and I don't drink alcohol, so it was tough. I think everything was on the more expensive side. My vegan hazelnut cake was pretty good, but not super special. The lace cookie was burnt and the pearl candies were super hard and not palatable. We stopped by UT47 while waiting for our reservation at another restaurant around the corner -- just planning to grab a quick drink and kill some time. Unfortunately, what was supposed to be a casual stop turned into a pretty uncomfortable and bizarre experience. To start with, the staff were... well-intentioned but painfully awkward. Our bartender seemed completely out of it -- either stoned or just incredibly distracted. He took our drink order and asked if we wanted any food. We said we were waiting for dinner reservations, but asked if he had any app recommendations, to which he vaguely responded, "We have many, many great options." After he refused to give us a solid recommendation, we said we'd just stick to drinks. I also asked for a glass of water, and had to ask multiple times before he brought it out. It took about 20 minutes to get our cocktails, and in that time, the bartender dropped several bottles behind the bar while attempting flashy tricks that didn't land. When the drinks finally arrived, we were pleasantly surprised -- they were actually really good, which is honestly the only reason this isn't a 1-star review. But then things got weirder. A waiter came out and brought two full orders of fried rice -- something we never ordered. We politely declined, but the bartender insisted we had asked for them (we hadn't), and both the waiter and later the owner tried multiple times to get us to take the food. The owner even pushed us to stay and have dinner instead of heading to the reservation we'd already made elsewhere. It got to the point where we were repeatedly saying no, just trying to enjoy our drinks. When we finally asked to close out, it took three separate requests to get the bill. Every time we requested, we saw the owner or bartender go back and discuss our bill with the owner and some other employees. I knew they were talking about us because they kept pointing at us while looking at the handheld POS. And when it arrived? The fried rice -- the food we never ordered and never ate -- was on the check. We pointed it out, and the server had to go talk to the owner yet again to remove it. At that point, we were just over it. In short: the drinks were solid, but the service was incredibly awkward and disorganized. The fact that they tried to charge us for food we explicitly didn't order made the whole thing feel shady and left a bad taste. We won't be back. read more

I have returned to UT47 (now at their new location) and this place NEVER disappoints!! I've finally tried the vegan eggs Benedict and it was SO delicious. I ordered the "Penny-Benny #2-V Vegan with Tofu Bacon on Multigrain bread" and I was IN love. I've been vegan for a while so I know plant-based food has been elevating, BUT I've never had a plant-based "egg"that looked SO realistic. I cut into the "yolk" and it was the perfect runny texture and splattered onto me. The flavor itself was delicious and definitely hearty with the tofu bacon. The hollandaise sauce also had a nice coconutty flavor. I'm forever impressed by UT 47. By far one of the best places to get a vegan breakfast in NYC and there are tons of non-vegan options to suit everyone's needs with comparable prices or other brunch spots. The service was quick and friendly per usual! I don't think I really like the vibe of their new location. It's not the same cozy breakfast/lunch spot as before and the lighting is not as great. The checkered floors, red velvet accents, and overall vibe is more of a bar/night-life restaurant. However, this wouldn't detour me from visiting as the food is so good and I'm I really happy that they're expanding :) read more
