I love Uvasun for all the things. They have the wrinkle treatment from the omnilux red light machine, which makes my skin feel fresh and revived. It's really clean and comfortable. I go there to relax and watch tv sometimes while i also do the red light fat-loss pads. I love the Pura spray tan when I'm feeling pale in the winter and my favorite tanning bed is the sun gate. 3rd street is really busy but they also have parking below. read more

This is literally the best tanning salon in all of LA. From high end spray tans to luxury tanning beds you'll feel like you're in a tropical heaven. I have been to my fair share of tanning salons, but this one definitely takes the cake! I wish I could remember the owner's name who helped me, but WOW you can tell that he has a lot of pride for his business. He gave me a little tour of the place, and was very thorough with explaining everything to me. He even wrote out all the math for pricing/discounts. The bed that I tried was the Future Sun HP and it was great. They seem to offer so many different services which you don't always see at tanning salons. I got my spray tan done here almost 2 weeks ago, and I absolutely loved it!!! I got it done by Cristina, who did a fantastic job! I felt completely comfortable, as this is only the second time I've ever gotten a spray tan (first time at uvasun). She was also very knowledgeable, answering all of my questions, and letting me know how to prolong my tan. The tan itself has lasted a good while! It didn't smell icky after I got it done, and it didn't streak! I also never thought I looked orange. I chose to spray my face as well, because my face is very white compared to the rest of my body, and I was worried I might break out, but to my surprise, nothing out of the ordinary happened to my face! It also made my makeup look so much better when I applied it. My butt cheeks are also very white, and she did such a great job at blending them with the rest of my body. Hooray for looking sexy naked! The facility itself was very clean! I loved the set up that they had, and even the tanning beds looked very clean. The staff was incredibly friendly, chatting with me before I was brought back for my tan. I asked about specials and pricing, and they were happy to inform me, but were never pushy! I definitely appreciate that! There's easy, complimentary Parking in the back, which is great for a busy area in west Hollywood. And once you get up to the establishment, you can also enjoy complimentary refreshments! I definitely plan on coming back here! read more

Perk #1: Parking lot available for customers (woohoo!) and is located in a little alleyway just behind the building. Perk #2: Megan and Lenora are super friendly and real. They are both very knowledgeable and treat customers with respect while also striving to make you feel comfortable. Perk #3: While prices are a little steep, you do get a discount for being a first-timer and/or for writing a positive Yelp review, which I felt was worth it. Perk #4: Megan and Lenora will steer you away from what services you may not really need, and I also appreciated that they advised on the best amount of time to be in the tanning bed, based on how long it had been since my last tan. This was my first spray tan experience, and it was great. There is free parking underneath the building that you can access from an alley. I didn't realize that until after I'd already parked on the street, but it's good to know for next time! There's also an open bar! The ladies working at the salon were so nice and informative. I didn't feel awkward at all, even though you're basically getting naked in front of a stranger, I was put right at ease. I'm pretty light skinned and pale, I haven't laid out in the sun in quite a while. I chose to go for a medium tan, and I love it! In fact I think I'll go for dark next time! After a great workout two weeks ago in Manhattan beach I went against my better judgement and jumped in the ocesan. Not realizing that a little cut above my eyebrow was going to fall victim to amazing clean waters of the california coast. The cut became large. Infected and really gnarly looking. Fast forward to the beginning of this week and im doing laundry across the street from Uva and pop on over to see if there was a way to make me look not horrible for Christmas. the beautiful lady behind the counter introduced me to the red lamp face healing machine (not its real name but its how i know it!)i was skeptical at first but she knew her beds, and how to best use each individual product they have available to get you the look you want. I had originally purchased a groupon for infrared wraps but I forgot all about it and they expired. Lucky for me the credit can be applied to other services so I used it for their tanning beds. I am new to tanning beds as I've always been the type to tan under the sun on the sands of Malibu. But I have a trip to Hawaii coming up (in a week!) and being indoors most of my day at school/work, my tan is nowhere near beach ready... So I decided to opt for some time in the uv lit bed. I went in on a Saturday afternoon and the girls working there were more than helpful. They were very friendly and answered all my questions. I actually went in thinking I would be dealing with snotty divas but to my surprise, they were nothing like that. I got a tour of the place and a brief description of all their services/offers. I went for the Future Sun HP ($55/session) and I can hear some jaws drop at $55 but it is worth it. I have only been on one other tanning bed, I don't even know what it's called, and it is so worth the extra $20. It is air conditioned and you can choose a different setting for your face. Spend the extra 20 and save couple 100 on brightening serums and whitening lotions. *They have an open bar so clients can have a refreshing drink after bronzing *They have a sanitizer and paper towels to clean the beds yourself if you are mildly ocd like me *There's free parking in the back lot *They offer extra towels and lotion To find the place: just hop on the elevator and go to the 2nd floor. read more

This place is very nice and has bed tanning as well as spray tanning. From the outside it doesn't look that great but inside is super nice. The facitity is super clean and nice but the wasn't too friendly when I went. It was my first time getting a spray tan and I had no idea what I was doing. When I asked questions they seemed slightly irritated...but they were pretty busy so I only docked one star. I think it was their hosh posh attitude i didn't like...but they do get pretty big clients in there...who knows...you may see an actor or two while tanning! =) fyi - Make sure to exfoliate like crazy before spray tanning...I missed a spot on my back and everyone kept asking me what happened...embarrassing =P read more

This is hands down the best tanning salon in Los Angeles. The owner of the salon took it upon himself to take care of clients that were coming from another salon that has closed down due to the coronavirus. He honoured any money that we have already paid to the other salon and credited it to his salon just to be nice and to help out another salon owner. On top of all of that the salon is clean, the beds are new and beautiful, the space is big there is a speaker system and every single tanning area with satellite music. Coming here for my eczema has been so helpful. I had tried basically everything. Diet changes, soaks, creams, prescriptions etc. My skin was so bad I could hardly sleep. Then I called uvasun and spoke to Lenora. She was really knowledgeable and told me she had a stand up machine that might work. And it did!!! I've gone 5 times in the past week and I went from looking like a spotted gecko to looking normal! Highly recommend trying this place out if you're desperate for an eczema solution. New to LA and just dropped in to check the place out. Meghan was super friendly and explained all my options to make sure I got a good deal for my needs. I've done Versapro for years but really liked how their Purist (sp?) spray tan was a fine mist rather than a wet spray. Cant wait to see how it turns out! Update: The tan turned out awesome. The perfect color and not streaky at all. I only wish I had listened to Meghan's advice to set an alarm on my phone to remind me to wash my hands thoroughly after an hour. I forgot and waited three hours and my palms and cuticles are REALLY dark. Whoops! That's my own fault, but I'll definitely be returning to purchase more sessions. read more
