Awesome customer service! Professional driver provided transportation for my brother to a family event. The drive was early and was then able to pick my brother back up a few hours later with no questions asked. We will definitely be using the services of V and A transport for our non-emergency needs. Wanted to update my review again, in case it's helpful. I spoke to Sami after the experience last time. We spoke for quite some time. He really sympathized with the situation that happened last time, and I believe he really went out of his way to make sure everything will be OK going forward, and to make sure I can get to my medical appointments. I really appreciated his kindness. Everyone else I have spoke to at V&A since then is really cool, as well. I think that day in May was just stressful for everyone. Everyone, and every place can occasionally have issues (i am no exception), but I really respect when people fix stuff. Thank you guys for fixing this, being so cool about it, and helping me have medical transport. I ended up using V&A again today for more imaging. Alex came out. He was a pleasure to ride with. We spoke at length during the trip and just had some really nice converstaion. I think he really enjoys helping people get to their appointments, and he really likes what he does. It took my mind off my upcoming appointment, which was great as I was not looking forward to it. I got there way early, and had plenty of time to spare. After the appointment he showed back up again and it was another really pleasant ride back. Really appreciated his kindness. My advice about this, or any medical transportation company: book the pickup time way in advance. This way, in case something unforseen happens, such as the driver hitting traffic on their way to pick you up, or another appointment on their schedule running late, hopefully you will still have time to spare to get to your appointment on time. I did this today, and it worked very well. Yes, I was there early and had to wait at the facility for a bit, but I was OK with that. Better early than cutting it close! If you are rural like me, keep it in mind as well with any medical transport. For example, out here, there are just 2 lane highways for a long ways. If a driver were to get stuck behind a slow truck on their way to pick me up, there's nothing they can do. Make sure to think about this stuff while scheduling the pickup time for your transport, just to be on the safe side. I guess plan for the worst and hope for the best, and make your schedule around that if you can! Another bit of advice if you are rural: maybe early morning appointments aren't the best, as someone will have to drive out to your location incredibly early. Also, if something happens on the way (such as a driver not being able to make it for some reason), it will be so early it might be harder to find someone else to take the route. I'm planning to book my appointments around noon-2 pm in the future, this way the driver doesn't have to leave very early (which I don't want them to have to do anyway), and also, if anything happens, hopefully it's regular hours and maybe there will be more options. Haven't used this company but tonight a driver (Van number 18, license plate 29618u2 driving northbound on the 14fwy from Santa Clarita) refused to let me merge lanes and when I did, tailgated me with his high beams on at a high rate before nearly running himself and another car off the road. The driver was an older male with grey hair and he seemed to realize that he's at work, transporting ill patients and driving like a maniac with the company logo on the side. Anyway, this is being posted in case anyone is considering having this place transport a family member. Don't do it, there are plenty of other non emergency transports in the greater Los Angeles area and this driver was reckless and dangerous. read more

My review isn't about their services, I have never used them before and after today's experience with one of their drivers, I doubt I ever will. One of their drivers was pulling out of a shopping center in Hawthorne and almost hit me by cutting me off. When I honked, he proceeded to lick his middle finger and pointed at me. I managed to go on to the street and ended up on his left side at a red light. The diver then tried to hit me with his van on purpose, luckily I didn't have a car to my left and managed to move out of the way. All this happened while both my boys where in the car with me. I managed to snap a picture of the van and called the number that was on it. The male who answered was dismissed and only said he would call the driver to see what was going on, he didn't even introduce himself or asked if I was okay. Judging from the few reviews, which are not good, this business is not reliable in any way and I can see why. Please be aware and keep this in mind when having someone drive you or your loved one around!!!! read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would, although the drivers are friendly they are highly unreliable , never on time, and dispatcher is rude when you request ETA. Let's not forget that they make you wait hours to be picked up. I called numerous times and was sent to voicemail. They never returned my phone calls. DO NOT USE THIS IRRESPONSIBLE MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION SERVICE!!! The most undependable and irresponsible transportation service ever. These guys took 2 hours to arrive for a pre-scheduled pickup; and 2.5 hours for the return pickup. Repeated calls to their dispatcher to obtain an honest ETA proved to be a waste of time. I would rather walk than use this medical transportation service; however, being a caregiver with non-ambulatory patients makes walking out of the question. Do yourself a huge service and avoid these folks entirely. read more

First when I called to pick up my Dad at the doctors, the call went straight to voice mail. Called again, and the person who answered the phone said, we're sending someone to pick up. 30 minutes later, no driver. Called again, and the same person who answered the phone said that it is not an emergency pick up, usually it takes 45 minutes for the driver to show up. He said someone is on the way. 15 minutes later, the person who was answering the phone showed up with a bad attitude, and claiming that he's the owner of the company, and if I have a problem to talk to him. I find this business owner rude and unprofessional. Very bad people. I wish I can give this company a ZERO star. read more

NO Stars, there couldn't possibly be a worse provider in this field. 1) Drivers were Late (both going and coming back from the doctors) 2) Horrible customer service skills (neither driver spoke enough english to properly communicate. 2nd driver snatched the paperwork from my hands and said let's go. He didn't enter the medical center like all other van drivers to identify who he was and was there to pick up.) 3) unbelievable scary driving (both driver drove well over the speed limit, cut off other cars and were impatient while waiting at red lights). 4) The dispatcher (blatantly lied about drivers arrival times then just refused to pick up my calls after waiting over an hour for the driver) 5) Passenger Care ( 2nd driver started loading the wrong person into his van. When he started to load my dad onto the ramp he jammed my dads foot into the ramp two times, my wife had to take over and position my dad.) 6) Vehicle Maintenance (2nd drivers van had a broken passenger seat belt. This company should not be in this line of business, there is no amount of re-training they could receive to improve there service. This is apparently an issue which starts with the ownership of this business and runs through the entire business. Sad to know they will continue in business after this post. read more

ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. DO NOT SUBJECT YOUR LOVED ONES TO THIS SERVICE. They were an hour and a half late picking my mom up from the rehab facility for her very urgent cardiologist appointment. (He arrived at 12:30pm.) After an unsafe drive, they arrived late to the cardiologist's office, which meant she could not be seen for her appointment. In the moments it took for them (my mom and dad) to find this out, the transport driver had already left. (It was now around 2pm) The rehab facility arranged for another transport from this same company and they sent a vehicle with a ramp that was too small for my mother's wheelchair that arrived at around 4:45pm. They sent for another vehicle. When he arrived at around 6pm, he was rough and shoving my mom's wheelchair up the ramp, jostling her terribly. All told, it was a 7 HOUR ORDEAL with my very frail mother in excruciating pain, waiting. Her feet and legs were nearly black with pooled blood from having to sit for so long. There are no words for the anger I feel toward this company for making my mother suffer so terribly. read more

Contrary to the older reviews, it is my belief that the company is under new ownership. With that being said, I was skeptical when I was scheduled with this company due to the negative reviews... In fact I did not want to use them at all. However, I called Sami, the new owner and talked to him man to man. He asked for a chance to prove himself and his company. I have since gone on two medical appointments, with Tania driving both times; one in the afternoon and one in the morning. I live in Yucca Valley and was going to San Bernardino so it is a fairly long ride.. over an hour. Tania was one time both to pick me up at my house and when I was done with the appointments, I didnt have to wait long. Her car was especially clean, she drove well, tho her taste in music is not mine. However, the conversation was pleasant and i look foward to booking A & V for all of my out of area Non-emergency Medical Transports in the future. Don't use this transportation unless you want to die due to them being 3 hrs late for a pick up. My mom was supposed to be picked up at 1230pm from her neurology appointment and these dudes ended picking her up literally 3 hrs later. When I called they kept saying we will be there in 15 minutes. I will do what it takes to get this transportation out of business. You just don't let people that are sick being hung to dry. ALSO SIDE NOTE IF YOU ARE A KAISER PATIENT AND OVER 65 GET THE HELL OUT OF KAISER. They will kill your loved ones. read more
