It has been way too long for me to write a review for this business. You see... I was desperately looking for a dry cleaning business to dry clean/ remove some stains that were in my sister's cathedral lace veil because I was wearing it as my "something borrowed" to my wedding. I called a few businesses and some quoted me over $40, that was without even looking at the veil. I saw that this business had some positive reviews and it was also closer than the other two places I called, so I decided to call. My call was answered right away and (wish I could remember his name) was so friendly, professional and what I appreciate most was that he was very honest. He (of course without seeing the veil) said come on over and I'll take a look at it. I drove to this business and he looked at the veil and said it was something minor. He told me to hold on because he was going to grab a solution he had and I seen him put it on the stained areas. I asked how long it will take and how much it will be and to beyond surprise he said nothing! All you have to do is make sure you go home and with a toothbrush lightly brush it with water and soap but make sure it's within a hour. He didn't charged me and he took the time to help me, used his solution and explained the steps for me to complete the process. You see... I was getting married that week! I know, I know I should've done it earlier but that's besides the point! I am grateful and will always be thankful for this honest business man who maybe didn't know that forever he will be appreciated because I did wear my sister's veil at my wedding and his kindness deserves more than 5 stars! I am returning to this business as soon as I need dry cleaning and I highly recommend you to go too! read more

I came here a few weeks ago to drop off several garments. The older man that works here was extremely rude. He talked to me like I was a 5 year old. Very demanding. I decided to come back a second time to give them a try. This time he yelled at us for not bringing the garments unbuttoned. Like we are supposed to know this. We dropped off 8 pieces and when we came in he only gave us 7. When we tried to get the 8th he wanted proof and a detailed description. He yelled at us and blamed us for his error. He treated us like trash. And to make things worse there was dried crust like food on my pants. We are all about supporting local businesses. But this man shouldn't be running a business. read more

I have been taking my clothes here inconsistently for years! It is conveniently located right off of the McKee Rd exit, so it is hard to miss. The building is dated, but the interior is well kept. It is a family owned business, and the owners (husband & wife) are very personable. I just found out today that it will be under new ownership very soon. Do they do great work? I would have to say they do "good" work. Are their prices competitve? Prices are a bit high considering. Will I be back? I'd have to say yes based on convenience. My go-to cleaners is in Mountain View, so I do pop in here when I don't have time to make the trek. Came on a Tuesday and needed my bridesmaid dress to be shortened by Friday. There were some huge communication barriers between me and the person measuring the dress. He didn't seem to know how to pin the appropriate parts and measuring the length was a struggle (kept flipping the dress over and over and seemed extremely confused--nearly 10 minutes later, I was like I have to be somewhere). Somehow, everything worked out. My dress length was perfect and the total was $40. Great place if you want a simple task done for cheap (ex. shortening the dress length). I'd save the more expensive clothes or more detailed tailoring for another place. read more

I just moved to the area and needed to find a new cleaners close by. I tried this place out and was very impressed. I had a lot of dress clothes and uniforms to get dry cleaned. One of my silk shirts that I was planning on throwing out, because a large amount of butter was spilt on it and I thought no way was anything getting that out, was mixed in the pile. I took that shirt out and held on to it while the owner was ringing up the rest of my clothes. When he was finished, he asked me about the shirt I was holding on to and I told him that is was stained with a lot of butter and I was just going to throw it out. He told me to give it to him and he would work on getting the stain out. He told me that if he could not get it out then he would not charge me anything. I returned a week later and low and behold the butter stains were out of my silk shirt. The shirt looked brand new and I was very impressed. The owner is a very nice man and I am very happy to say that I have found my new cleaners close to home!! I recommend VIP Cleaners hands down!! read more

Go elsewhere!!! I have been using this place simply out of convenience. This is the last time. They really do not do a great job at allllll. Sometimes I wonder if they even clean my clothes? Every time I drop my clothes they try to push me as far out as possible, shouldn't take more than 2 days, ever. They don't even maintain the creases by crossing the sleeves when they hang them. Today I was so busy I forgot to pick up my daughter's cheerleading uniform & she has a game tomorrow morning at 9am. I was so stressed out when I remembered to pick it up because it was late and VIP Cleaners was already closed. I sent them a message through their website and I was so surprised that an actual person responded back willing to go out of their way and drop off the uniform after hours. It's always a pleasure bringing in my suit for dry cleaning or my shirts for laundering. (that's the right verb when referring to clothes being washed, right? Laundry...) I am very satisfied with the dry cleaning service I received from V.I.P. Cleaners. I had two 2-piece suits and two dress shirts I wanted dry cleaned. The reason I came here was because I had a Groupon for $40 dollars worth of dry cleaning service. I walked in on a Friday evening and it wasn't very busy, dropped off my clothes and said I wasn't in a rush to pick them up. The turn around time was Thursday the following week. Six days later I walk into V.I.P. Cleaners in the morning and it was very busy. I waited about 10 to 15 minutes, I showed the owner my receipt and my clothes were ready. I inspected my suits and dress shirts and they did an amazing job, I'm extremely happy with how my clothes turned out. Had a great experience and I usually hate dry cleaners because it's dirty and looks unorganized. VIP Cleaners was clean and was well organized. You can see that there wasn't clothes that had been left behind or that they are not trying to sell clothes people left behind. VIP Cleaner had great customer service. We had a conversation about careers and the owner was genuine and kind. He asked us questions about our career and even shared details of his own family. It felt like an exchange between friends. We took our clothes here that had been piled up from November to January because out of pure laziness and avoidance. VIP Cleaners made it so easy for us to just come in and drop off our clothes. They took the time to inspect every article of clothing to see what the material was in order to properly clean it. Everything was done in a timely manner and looking brand new again. Don't take your clothes here!!! I brought in a white Armani exchange $300 blazer and they ruined it. When I came to picked it up they didn't even tell me nothing ,I checked the blazer before receiving it and it had black stains all over ! I complained and they told me to leave it and they will "try " to remove the stains, came back yo pick it up a week later and the stains are still they . I have been bring my clothes here for a several years now. They are conveniently located right before I get on the highway and to be honest their location is the main reason I've continued to come here. Over the years I've had a couple issues with either their service and every time that I talk to the owner about the issue it's always an argument. The owner has not concept of customer service. The last straw for me was them giving me my shirt back dirtier then when I brought it in. When I spoke to the owner about it he said that they are not dry cleaned on site, they are done by another company and that he would have to charge me again for cleaning the shirt again because it was not his fault they didn't do a good job. I asked him why he wouldn't correct their mistake, he insisted that it was the other company that actually cleans them. I brought the shirt to him, paid him, and expect him to deliver a clean shirt but apparently that concept out of his grasp to comprehend. I then asked if he was willing to lose a long time customer over a few bucks (cost to re-clean it) that would cost to correct the mistake they made and he just shrugged his shoulders, I took that as a Yes. Totally give them a 0 Star rating if we could. My Friend took a dress that she had worn one time to a wedding to be dry cleaned. She made sure to tell the guy DRY CLEAN ONLY. Well what happened when she went back to pick up the dress... IT WAS COMPLETELY RUINED. It looks like it was washed instead of Dry Cleaned and the Black bled onto the Light Colored inner lining. The dress is unwearable the way it is. A $300 dress and she can never wear it again without getting the inner lining repaired. The Cleaners refuse to fix it saying it wasn't their fault. That a huge load of crap. SO just FYI VIP Cleaners We will do everything in our power to blast what crappy service you have to everyone we know, blast you on Yelp and all of social media as well as Look into what legal rights she may have as a family member of mine is a lawyer! My family and I have been going to this dry cleaner for more than 20 years. They have recently (a little over 6 six months or so) changed ownership. Since we knew the previous owners and have been long time customers, we always received a 10% discount on our dry cleaning. When they changed owners, I didn't have any problems receiving my discount still. However, recently it seemed like they have removed the discount from our account. When I went to go pick up my dry cleaning today, the older man at the front told me that I don't get the discount because I didn't spend more than $40 dollars. However, I explained to him my situation. He still gave me the discount but I had to argue for it. On a side note - when they first change ownership, I remember meeting a younger guy at the front and he told me that he would still honor the discount from the previous owner. I am not sure if I will have this issue again the next time I come but I may have to think about changing dry cleaners. read more
