I got a response back pretty quickly and decided to come in because they are so responsive and helpful with all my questions. The cleaner is located in a small plaza with lots of parking. Upon arrival, I was met by Ann, who helped me with my alterations. She is amazing! I brought in a dress that needed a few alterations plus same day pick-up, and she delivered! I dropped off my dress yesterday morning, went to brunch, ran some errands, and my dress was ready for pick-up before the store closed at 4pm. I also dropped off my wedding dress, along with other dresses/skirts and can't wait to pick those up. I came to JP with 5 pairs of jeans, a pair of pants and a dress. I was looking for somewhere closer. My regular place seems far these days and all alterations are a ton of money - $17 a hem now on average. The woman there hemmed one leg and I explained that I've had trouble in the past and would like if she could pin both legs. She let me know it didn't matter that it would be fine. I explained that I am either anatomically incorrect or lean funny but would appreciate if she measured both. She did a half eye-roll but did so. Then as I came out with the next pair she was measuring the inseams of my pants to explain to me and even demonstrate that I was wrong and that it didn't matter. I couldn't believe it was this important to show me that I was an idiot over a pair of jeans and one safety pin but explained that my experience was different and I do appreciate..... Before I had finished the sentence she had pulled the curtain closed on my face with a snap. UM, BYE! Ended up taking the pants to my local dry cleaner walking distance from my house and they all look great. The woman had no problem looking at both legs, no matter how ridiculous she might have thought the request was. I took the dress back to my expensive alterations on Bascom and that looks good too. DONT GO HERE!!! I dropped off my suits and dress shirt for cleaning after our wedding. The dress shirt and vest had stains from a flower lei. When I brought the items to the store, the i showed the lady the stains and asked if she could clean it. She said yes and proceeded to throw all my stuff in the laundry basket and charged me. I paid and left. My wife picked up the items a week later and they didn't say anything regarding the clothes. When I checked my suits and shirts, I noticed the stains were still there with a notice saying the stains couldn't be removed. The stains are clearly still there on the shirt and vest. So I called back and James picked up. James said they tried to clean it and it couldn't come off so they didn't charge me for stain cleaning. But they already charged me for the cleaning fee upon drop off? And then he stated to me that they didn't charge me an ADDITIONAL fee for stains. But when I dropped off the items the lady didn't mention anything regarding a no guarantee that the stains would come out. She clearly said yes she could clean the stains and that was if. But now all of a sudden they don't guarantee it. So I asked James what it was that I paid for? To have them throw it in the laundry like I could have done? And he said he can try to clean it again but "no guarantee". Don't waste your time and money. Service is horrible. They chose not to even tell my wife about the stains. First time at JP Cleaners, at the recommendation of a friend. Location: off Almaden, in a small plaza with an ACE Hardware and taco place next door. There was plenty of parking in the plaza. Services: - I needed 2 pairs of scrubs tailored because they were too long for me, and also wanted the calves tapered a little. - A dress that was too large around the waist for me - Jeans that needed to be dry cleaned because there was a stain My total came to about $50, which is actually much cheaper than what I paid elsewhere (in Fremont) for getting 2 pairs of jeans and 2 skirts tailored (I'd paid over $150...). Ann was so sweet and easy to work with, and did not try to sell me on any services that I did not need. She worked efficiently and was able to pinpoint/suggest where I should hem the pants and taper the legs. My clothes were done within 2 days, and the pants fit perfectly. It didn't even look like they had had work done on them, they looked perfect. I was 10/10 satisfied with what I paid for. I've been coming to JP cleaners for about a year now and they've been excellent with their speed, communication, and quality. They've cleaned and pressed God knows how many shirts for me now. I started recently using them for alterations. Each time, the owners were super friendly and patient when taking my measurements. They worked with me to get me the fit and style I wanted on my clothes. They did several pairs of pants, jeans, button ups, and some jackets for me at a really reasonable price. All of them came out basically perfect. The couple shirts that needed to be taken in further, they said they'd correct it until it I was satisfied with no additional charge. I bought a suit and needed alterations on the sleeve and pants. I got quotes from a couple of places in the area but by far JP cleaners was the most affordable. I brought the suit in and James took the measurements, told me he was going to shorten the sleeves, move the sleeve buttons up a little and shorten the pants. One week later i went to try on and it was absolutely PERFECT! Recommendation, bring your dress shoes that you will normally wear with your suit and wear the dress shirt too. I come here for my dry cleaning and alterations. Ann is a sweetheart! I recently lost weight, and brought a pair of pants and a denim skirt here to alter. Ann went above and beyond for me for the denim skirt alteration: I needed it altered smaller at the waist. The design of the skirt was a button down so it was not as easy to make the alteration compared to a zipper design. In addition to the waist adjustment, Ann went ahead and undid the entire back seam to accommodate for my wide hips. She had taken my hip measurement before to make sure it would fit. I paid about $25 which is quite decent since it was more work than usual. I've also brought a knitted sweater to get a hole patched and she did an amazing job on it too. The fix is unnoticeable and the color of the thread she used was very close to the color of my sweater. For dry cleaning, I have not had any issues so far and am a very satisfied customer :) I will keep coming here for my dry cleaning and alterations. read more

I HAD been a customer at this cleaner over 9 years and that just ended today becuse of their customer service. I dropped off three items after this place taken by the new owner. the same top i had been getting drycleaned and press ironed. this was a week ago I picked it up and took it out of the plastic cover only to find the detailed frils were all curled up and not pressed flat. My first time coming to this cleaners was couple of weeks ago, I was checking it out, because I was not sure if I am going to leave my dress herefor alteration. And when I walked in I was greeted by a nice and friendly lady her name is Ann. I have a formal dress that was too long and need to be shortened and also it half way backless dress that I want to cover. So she shortened and used the fabric to cover the back, she also removed the zipper and replaced it with a new longer one to cover the back extension that she added.
